Review: I ordered [redacted] through an advertisement in my local newspaper. While ordering I was offered two (2) incentives: (1) Membership in a discount club called [redacted]; (2) trial subscriptions to several magazines. For trying these offers, I was to receive gift cards. I received a $25 [redacted] card from [redacted]. The magazines have started and I received no gift card; the subscriptions are being billed and this company will not allow me to cancel the subscriptions. I have called the magazines and [redacted] has no knowledge of this company. The order was placed on line using information that I supplied to an operator who I believed to be an [redacted] employee. When I tried to cancel the subscriptions with the magazines they could not cancel them because the subscription were through this "marketing" company. When I contacted the company, Radius Media Group, I was told that I could not cancel. In addition, after my call the company tried to send through a charge for one of the subscriptions. I do not want these magazines. I want the subscriptions cancel and I want this company to stop billing me for the subscriptions.Desired Settlement: I want a refund for the subscription for which I have been billed ([redacted]) and cancellation of the subscription to [redacted] Magazine (my bank has placed stop payment), **, and [redacted].

Review: I contacted this company for free magazines and a gift card to [redacted]. The processing fee was $1.95. I was told to cancel within three weeks. I did not call within the time frame. When I called to cancel, I was told that a card had been sent for me to initial and return. I received no such card. My subscription was canceled and I see no reason that I should have to pay $19.95 for something that I am not receiving and did not receive. I did check the internet after the fact and found that they are listed under scams.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund for merchandise not received.

[redacted] is confusing things a bit...but we have refunded her $19.95 charge as a courtesy.

Review: I was promise by magazine rewards $50 [redacted] card for subscribing to magazines they're advertising. They said if I cancel by 2/15/2105 I would still be entitled to [redacted] card. I ordered two magazines. I cancelled on 2/12/15. They told me that I had to initial a postcard that they sent to me, put it in a stamped envelope and send to an address they gave me. I did this. I called 3/4/15 to find out what happened to my [redacted] card, they said they have not received the postcard. I told the representative I sent the postcard. She said that it might be in their mailroom but it was not in the system as yet. Furthermore, she said I was no longer entitled to the gift card because the postcard was not received by 2/15/15. I said, I was never told that the postcard had to be sent in by a certain time, I was only told to cancel the order by a deadline which I did. I asked how can I resolve this matter, she said I had to e-mail the company, which I did. They responded to my e-mail by stating because they have not received the postcard by 2/15/15 the offer for giftcard is not valid. Please can you help me in this matter. Thanks!

We are not sure why this complaint is on hold (or still open), however, we received her gift card claim and have issued a check for the gift card amount.

Review: The above company got my credit information from the Derma Wand and I did not authorize them to charge my credit card $24.95 for a online magazine

I called the company and asked who they were and why am I being charged for something I don't have or want. They never contacted me to confirm this transaction and I don't know who they are and I don't have a product from their company and I demanded my money back on June 14 when they charged me. They said within 10 days and I still don't have my money back, I called again on June 19, 2013 and again I was told 10 days. Its now July 2, 2013 and nothing. This company is fraudulent.Desired Settlement: I am seeking a refund immediately before they charge me again this month. I want my $24.95 back on my credit card.

Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2013/07/18) */

As a courtesy, we refunded Ms [redacted] on July 10th.

However, she did in fact order from us on May 8th and we are happy to share the recording of that offer acceptance with her. Additionally, we did indeed confirm this offer to her in a written welcome confirmation packet that as mailed First Class US Mail on May 14th, and that packet was not returned to us as undeliverable.

Thank You.

Consumer Response /* (-5, 10, 2013/07/20) */

This company has returned my money to my credit card, so the issue is closed. Thank you for your help in resolving this matter.

Review: I have been charged since February $24.95 per month. I have never heard of this company nor requested any products or services from them. As a result of their last charge in October, my account went into overdraft, for which I was charged $35(which caused me to realize these charges were being made in the first place).Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of $224.55 plus $35 for the overdraft which resulted from the unsolicited and unauthorized charges(TOTAL: $259.55).

This customer ordered our service immediately after purchasing a product she saw advertised on TV -- by a phone call she initiated. We confirmed this order by mailing a letter via [redacted]. It was not returned to us as undeliverable.

Review: I ordered a name-brand vacuum advertised on television, and this company got my bank account information as part of that order. I had never heard of them and never authorized them to debit my checking account monthly for a service I've never heard of. This company has been billing me $24.95 a month for 5 months. When I phoned, they said I had signed up for their discount shopping network, whatever that is, and for magazine subscriptions. I did suddenly start receiving unwanted magazines, but not to the tune of $24.95/mo. This is clearly fraud. I would NEVER have signed up for a discount club--I don't have the kind of income that let's me do a lot of shopping. They have refunded only one of those months, after I called twice to complain. My third call, they said to put it in writing, which I plan to do, but based on other Revdex.com complaints, I don't have high expectations of honest dealings. Is this worthy of a class action? I just think businesses that do this kind of dishonest dealing should be held accountable. What a horrible scam! They claim they mailed something to my home address when the service initiated, but I didn't see anything. If they did, they camouflaged it as junk mail. I am a widow and single mother of three and work long hard hours for every penny I have--I am so frustrated that something like this can happen. I will not be satisfied unless I get all of my money back--I worked for it, they stole it!

Product_Or_Service: Nothing! I didn't buy anything!Desired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Refund

Every cent they dishonestly took from me! 4 payments of $24.95 have not yet been reimbursed. I want it back and will not be satisfied with less.

We are retrieving the recording from the date of order and would like to review this message with [redacted]

Review: I brought a spray painted from [redacted] and was solicited to review magazines for 30 days and receive a gift card. I was told I had 30 days to review the magazines and then I could cancel and still get the gift card. I was informed that if I didn't cancel after reviewing the magazines I would be billed $14.95. My spray painted came and there was nothing in the box about the magazines or the gift cards. I called [redacted] and the told me they had nothing to do with it that the magazines were a different company and gave me the number. I called Magazine rewards and explained that I received nothing concerning the magazines. The lady on the phone told me that my 30 day trial review period was over, that I had been billed $14.95 and another $24.95 for some other magazines that I know nothing about. She told me that I should have received a post card in the mail that I needed to initial and send back to get the $50 gift card. I tried to explain to the supervisor that I have received NOTHING!! First of all the thirty day trial review period is false advertisement. I placed my order on June 29, 2014 and according to the supervisor needed to receive a post card to start the review trial. That doesn't give me thirty days. Second, who gives them the right to add extra magazines, without my consent and charge me $24.95. This is a scam to make money. My account was billed and I have never received anything. I am returning the spray painter because their company allowed Magazine Rewards to solicit customers, and then the rip them off!! This is a disgrace!!!Desired Settlement: I want all my money put back into my account. I don't want the gift cards, I don't want the spray painter, and I don't want the magazines.I want my money!! I don't appreciate being ripped off.

[redacted] ordered two programs from us: [redacted] and [redacted] Perhaps the customer service rep thought she was billed for [redacted], but she was not. Both orders have been cancelled (she was within two days of her trial period end date when she filed her Revdex.com complaint). We have refunded the single $14.95 charge for her magazine service.

Review: Purchased items from a TV infomercial via phone. The entire call/order placement was automated. Asked a series of questions, declined all the questions (so I thought). Since placing the order, Radius Media Group/Rewards Center started shipping magazines charging my account $24.95 per month. One of the CS reps I spoke to said this is a 'rewards club'. They are somehow connected to a buyers reward club. They charged my account $24.95 per month since August 2013 thru March 2014 $199.60 total. My 1st call they said the charges were for magazine subscriptions. Each month a new/different magazine arrived. I've since cancelled all these magazines. The subscriptions had to be cancelled thru Radius Media Group, not the magazine companies. I did not agree to subscribing to any magazine, or rewards buyer club when I purchased the Flex-able Hose from the infomercial. I want totally reimbursed $199.60 for these charges. These charges started after purchasing Flex-able Hoses from a TV infomercial.Desired Settlement: I what reimbursed $199.60 total amount charged to my account. That is $24.95 x 8 months. I did not agree to purchase any magazines or buyers rewards club subscription. I only was purchasing the Flex-able Hose product.

Review: I ordered a shark vacuum cleaner through an infocommertial in December. They had asked if I wanted to order magazines and I definitely told them ABSOLUTELY NO. I have since been charged 24.95 for the past two months on my debit card. I called and told them of the situation and subsequently they cancelled by subscription which I never received anything of anyway. They said to would take 7-10 days to see whether or not I qualified for the refund. when I called today I was informed that it was denied but they could not tell me why. I don't know what kind of scam this company is pulling, but this is terrible. I would appreciate if you could look into this and let me know. I am out the $50 and in this economy I think they should be ashamed of themselves!!!Desired Settlement: I would like to be reimbursed for the two paymets of 24.95 to my account.

Review: I ordered two rings from [redacted] through the game show[redacted] call in.I listened to several ads that they give information on to decide if they relate to anything I may need.It took several weeks to receive the jewelry. All I had to pay was s/h.I had to use my credit card in order to receive the jewelry.I was also suppose to receive a $25.00 [redacted] gift card.To confirm my order I had to call the [redacted].I call them and they give me a pitch on magazines.I had to give them my credit card# in order to receive the magazines and the gift card.I never got the magazines or the gift card. They charged my account $19.95.When I talked to [redacted] this morning she stated that the magazines were still coming but the offer for the gift card is no longer valid.I stated that I wanted to cancel the magazine order. She stated that they were not able to cancel my order and I would still be billed for magazines that I never received and I would not receive the [redacted] gift card either. At this time it was around Christmas. That was the main reason for the order...the gift card. Can you please help me get the gift card that I was suppose to get with my jewelry order?I do not want the magazines either. I want what was promised to me with my jewelry order. The $25.00 [redacted] gift card. They also stated that I had thirty days to sign this card they sent me through the mail.I stated that I never got any card through the mail.I believe I have been flimflamed.I have only gotten half of the product that I was promised. This has made me cancel my credit card in order to keep them from obtaining any more money from my account. This business is not an honest company.I will not refer them to anyone else.PLEASE HELP me with this problem!!!Thank You.Desired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Replacement The $25.00 Walmart giftcard I was promised.

Review: I was entered into a magazine membership program without my consent or knowledge. I called the compamy back and cancelled the order the same day and requested a refund and was denied. The company said that they had record of my cancellation for the magazines but not for the membership. They have charged my credit card with two bills of $19.95 each. The first charge was on 8/27/13 and the second charge was on 9/26/13. I have made numerous calls to this company and they have refused to refund. They keep saying that they will straighten this out but it will take 8 to 10 days. As of now I have a membership to something that I am not recieving.Desired Settlement: please remove charges from my credit card a.s.a.p.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

I did indeed make the order but tried to cancel within the same hour. Never once during the conservation regarding the original order did they say that there was a $19.95 membership fee, let alone two charges of $19.95. Also, of all the magazines they did send none of them were the ones I chose.

I would like to thank the B.B.B. for their help with this matter. Without them I feel that I would have never got my refund.

Sincerely,

Review: I ordered something over the phone and the girl asked if I would like to receive a gift card, no obligation for some type of rewards program, and she would get credit if I accepted it and I could cancel within 30 days no charge or obligation and I can keep the gift card.I said ok, how do I cancel. She said I would get a welcome letter with the gift card and a phone number to cancel. I didn't get a welcome letter or gift card or number to cancel. I forgot about it until I saw a charge on my checking account.I called them and they said I didn't cancel on time. I told them I never received a welcome letter, gift card or number to cancel and she said too bad we will cancel the recurring charges but not the initial charge of $19.95 because I didn't cancel on time. I told her I couldn't cancel something I didn't receive. I would like my $19.95 credited back to my account and I would like this company revealed as a scam so this doesn't happen to anyone else.Thank you[redacted]Desired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Refund

Review: My elderly mother was dying of cancer when these people called and conned her out of what little money she had for over a year. They signed her up for "[redacted]" magazine at 24.99 a month charged to her credit card. She passed away and I see on her charge card a bill for this service that has been going on for over a year. I call then to cancel this service and they were very rude. My mother rarely used a charge card. Her cancer affected her thinking. These people need to be arrested for theft.Desired Settlement: They need to be put out of business. They are charlatans of the worst order.

Review: [redacted]I am responding to the business' response:My mother's name is [redacted]. She died from an aggressive form of cancer which affected her thinking. She had a lot of stress about finances because cancer treatment is expensive and medicare does not cover everything. I think she fell for the fifty dollar carrot that this company dangled in front of her. They then charged my mother 24.99 a month for [redacted] magazine. I really wish I had seen this sooner on her charge card, because this was an expense she could not afford. My mother really did not use a charge card, and I'm sure she was talked into this while in her altered state. I am aware that the person on the phone does not know my mother nor her condition, but I really feel this company targets vulnerable and elderly people just to get their money. Sincerely,[redacted]

Response:

We believe Ms. [redacted]' mother did agree to our offer. However, we certainly are saddened to hear of these circumstances and will reach out to Ms. [redacted] to offer a refund.

Review: The ability to cancel services was not available until after, the 30 day limit had passed.

The order was placed on 8/12/14 and was not shipped until 9/8/14 and received on 9/13/14. The benefit card was not received until after the 30 day time limit had expired. The only reason for the order being placed, was said service was required to be attached to purchase of a cooker. I had every intention of cancelling this service before it was billed. The advertisement leads you to believe you are going to get a [redacted] gift card, which you don't. I was billed on 9/11/14 for magazines $14.95, on 9/25/14 for "[redacted]" $24.95, on 10/10/14 for magazines $14.95, and on 10/24/14 for "[redacted]" $24.95. I tried to cancel this on 10/11/14, and was told I could not cancel until 12/23/14.Desired Settlement: I would expect a refund for anything other than the cooker, I ordered. If this company partners with another company, that's their buisness, but in so doing each company should be accountable for the other. This type of activity is common, where they expect you to forget to cancel before it's too late. If you can fix the date you set as as an unattainable goal, then it looks like fraud to me. Their representation of a [redacted] gift card, is suspect as well, but we have heard it before, and as th

[redacted] ordered from us on August 12, 2014 after purchasing a pressure cooker on a call she initiated. Our offer was made after the pressure cooker sale is completed and is a separate, standalone offer. Full terms of our offer were made and [redacted]'s complete credit/debit card was supplied by her, distinct and separate from her pressure cooker offer. To suggest otherwise is to revise facts.

Review: I called to order a mop. This company used my bank information and enrolled me in a "club" without my permission and ordered and charged 20 magazines to my bank card and charged me a "recurring" fee for these magazines that I never ordered. They tried to get me to take a trip also. When I told them I didn't want any of this they hung up on me. the next thing I know I received TWO mops and a stack of magazines that I never ordered. I returned both of the mops and paid a lot of money in shipping but cannot get these magazines to stop.Desired Settlement: This company states they are not able to stop the magazines from coming to my house so I now have stacks of magazines at my house that I do not want and never ordered. They state that they will cancel my "club" membership but did not refund my money after waiting now for a month. A second call to this company was equally frustrating and issue was not entirely resolved.

Ms Yeater also complained through another Revdex.com location. We responded to that complaint, and that complaint has been closed. We refunded Ms Yeater and she wrote a letter to Revdex.com stating that she was refunded.

Review: My mother is 94 years old. She started getting all these magazines in the mail that she did not order, but didn't know how to stop them from coming. Recently she asked me to look at her [redacted] Statement and it had a charge of $24.95. The description was [redacted] ###-###-#### **. I asked her what that was and she had no idea. I called the 866 number listed on her [redacted] bill. Come to find out they had been charging her this fee for 16 months. My mother is on a fixed income. I told the lady on the phone that she was 94 years old and this is a scam and should be illegal. She said all she could do was cancel the membership, but could not refund any money. This is pathetic that this company gets away with this. Taking advantage of the elderly. I read online several complaints, but seems they are still getting away with it. I asked the customer service lady how does this happen and she said that she either ordered a product or took a survey and this rewards program is free for 30 days and then you need to cancel it or you get charged monthly. Again, my mother is 94 years old and can barely hear on the phone. So my mother has been charged for 16 months and throwing away magazines she doesn't even read. I would like to request my mother be reimbursed for this SCAM.Desired Settlement: To be reimbursed $24.95 X 16 months = $399.20 for something she did not order.
