Here is a link for photos of deck and house Also this complaint is not just about the deck paint but the outdoor railing paint, doors, house trim work and deck posts All was supposed to be done We did not pay that much for a coat of paint only on the deck From the pictures you can see white boards those were bubbling and re done with a spray can of white paint not made for the deck The fence posts were not cleaned and peeped properly so anything applied to them would cover up the moldThese are the vertical fence posts in picture showing thisThe sloppy paint work and splatters are notedAlso the two different color green used on the railingInvoices attached and new checks paid for clean up work by other contractorsAs stated before we paid Ronk almost $up frontA portion returned to cover supplies is all we are asking for We do not want any work done by Ronk againLink for photos: https://goo.gl/photos/up5x7KVnmAqKfFgC

I am rejecting this response because: painting contractor did not use [redacted] paint as previously discussed with worksheet breakdown of what the colors of paint to be used from [redacted] walls were supposed to be impressive Ivory and backwall I'm qua most point both in satin and they trim around the windows were to be painted in impressive Ivory semi gloss none of these colors batch I had to repaint entire building out-of-pocket $for painting for missed Elenius plates and covers switches locks doorhandles computer wiring please make note that I tried to contact rock painting three straight days in a row with no reply that led me to you

I am rejecting this response because: They were given plenty of time to fix itHe only now offers help because we filed the complaint He knows he would have to buy more paint supply's and that's why he stopped We have all the pictures of the bad workmanship from the painting to the deck work underneath We requested work to be done over and over again and every time they said they would come out they never did If they did show up once he would only paint a small portion it was wrong color or incompleteWe have found paint rollers in greet that were tossed into the bushes and not thrown away He left garbage bags on the property for several months I have that in a text message requesting them to be take away over and over again The work performed was bad and sloppy We had no desire to have him his sloppy jobWe had the whole deck, trim and railings re-painted We have no mold on fence posts or bubbling or white primer spots showing like when Mr Ronk did it All the carpentry work under the deck Mr Ronk had done was not to code and his employee was picked up on a warrant and never returnedAttached are completed photos and invoices for the work that was re-doneWe are requesting some money be returned to us as settlementImage link:https://goo.gl/photos/fYeRqKbpFE1xg5Ji

I spoke with [redacted] he stated that he is honoring his warrantyHe is prorating which is well within his right as a contractorBeing that most of the damage is cause by animalsHe again will provide the labor if the Diagnosis will provide the material

Upon receiving your email (I believe dated July 3, 2014) we attempted contact with [redacted] I spoke with her daughter [redacted] who stated that she did not care to resolve the issue that she no longer wanted us on the propertyThat we were NOT to go out and attempt repairs for they hired someone else to the work

As per our conversation on 9/15/I would like to offer to ***, that if he would supply me with copies of all invoices for any carpentry that was done for the underside of the deck, I would be willing to review the documents, compromise and cooperate to see if we can reach a settlement for this issueIf you could please have *** supply me with all info necessary to settle this issue, I would appreciate it I know that we replaced some deck boards and did some levelingThere are some left over materials that could be reused by a subsequent personHowever the person that he is talking to is not a general contractorI look forward to hearing from youThank you in advance

I am rejecting this response because: Originally Mr Ronk said he "spoke" to [redacted] because they gave him the wrong color but he still applied the wrong color to over half the deck There was never any mention before of having a rep come out to the houseMr Ronk barely came to the house so I do not believe that is trueAlso how do you paint the top board and not the edges but you painted below the edges? That make no senseAs show in evidence provided to the Revdex.comWe spent almost a year trying to get [redacted] to respond and fix the issues we brought up on a monthly basis He made excuse after excuse and we couldn’t wait another year to fix our deck so we were required to hire a professional painter HE WAS GIVEN PLENTY OF OPPORTUNITY TO DO THE WORK; We have purchased many houses over the years and dealt with numerous painters and contractors and it’s evident that [redacted] is a crook and a con artist As soon as he received payment we couldn’t get him on the phone for months until we threatened him with action As every “professional” that we had out to our house said, “that man should be ashamed of this job”He took advantage of a hard working family.We have never had a Revdex.com complaint nor have we took any of the professional corporations that helped us with our numerous houses over the years to court This was a miserable experience that nobody should have to go throughSome kind of refund is in order

God morning ***, We are currently in the process of a law suit with this customer for non paymentHowever we did use the product ( [redacted] )All the painting was approved upon completion by the contractor and bank manager

I am rejecting this response because:Winter was not an issue [redacted] started the paint project in September and kept making excuses on why he couldn’t complete it It was only supposed to take to weeks [redacted] claims we don’t understand the weather in that area but we have owned other Cabins in the Grizzly Flats area which is at the same altitude We have also been traveling and spending time in the area for yearsWe also had deck projects started in Sept of prior years and never had a job last to months to complete We had construction and professional painters within the Pioneer, Placerville and Tahoe area’s come by our Pioneer house and they all had the same comment – this is a “crappy job” and they would be embarrassed to have their name on this job Online reviews and other complaints of [redacted] business shows his substandard work ethic and again the only reason he stopped work in October is because my husband paid him in full We don’t accept ***’s response and he should be responsible for some of the additional money we spent to fix his “crappy” deck work and paint job

When the project was complete in Spring of the homeowner gave her full approval (with compliments) on the projectWhen we received several messages from her son (same morning) we contacted him immediately and scheduled an appointment to look at the projectAt that point Randy & [redacted] Ronk agreed to correct any issues that they were unhappy withUpon speaking with [redacted] we were told we were NOT allowed back on the property and NOT to take any corrective action they had someone else do the workI do not see that I am financially responsible for them hiring another contractor to "take care" of the issue for I was and still am willing to correct any and all issues on the project

I have reviewed the customers verbiage regarding his complaint on the paint job that was done on his homeIt is important to know that this was a winter timeproject so there was some time delay due to the wetness that occurs from the weather in this areaThe customer is from a different area, and apparently was unaware of the type of weather that we have out hereHowever at this point it is my opinion and the opinion of several other people that have inspected the home that everything is up to industry standardsIf anything is not, I am more then willing as I always have been to make any corrections necessaryThis customer seems to have malcontent issues, but again I am willing to do what ever necessary to satisfy the situationHowever the customer has asked that we not return after he has spoken to as he describes "professionals of the business" (which I highly doubt.) All aside we are willing to do what ever necessaryThe customer dose not live at the house, and we do not need to have personal contact with him, but I will take care of thingsI have personally walked the property, and there is only one minor thing which is some paint on a window trim, which needs to be cleaned upIf there is anything else that is part of my original contract, I have no problem taking care of it for this man. I spoke with *** he stated that we would have been more than willing to any and all work that was not satisfactory however, we were not given the opportunity to do so*** *** hired another contactor to do said workAgain as stated previously we did use the material that was requested and upon completion all was satisfactoryWe have filed a lawsuit against *** *** for failure to pay

they did leave a little bit of a mess, did not replace items that were moved to paint. *** has not contacted me about the refund he promised me. As soon as I receive the promised refund I will consider it resolved. Thank you,*** ***

Sir,I have reviewed the complaint filed with *** *** in regards to property address, *** *** **Pioneer, Ca It is my position, and strongly held that my company has attempted numerous times, touch up and redoing of all work originally contracted up to industry
standardsI do have a little bit of clean up to do around a window and have informed the home owner that I would be happy to do any additional work that he requestsThe home owner at this point has been uncooperative and asked us not to return. Unfortunately it seems as though the home owner has been speaking with individuals who have probably limited knowledge of process and specificationsI have also offered to have a paint representative from *** *** Paint inspect the home to make sure that there is an adequate amount of stain on the stained areas, and paint in the painted areasThe problem with the deck bubbling has been resolved as of the last time that I inspected itUnfortunately the customer and his wife have asked for work to be done under the fascia line of the deck which was never contracted forI can not do work that I was not contracted nor been paid forI look forward to working with the Revdex.com and the Customer to immediately resolve this issueAgain my offer is that if the customer gives us a written notice (which he has done several times in the past, and that I have then inspected), on things that he still believes are still not up to his standards, then I will again review themIf they were part of the original contract or proposal, I will definitely complete it to the best of my ability and to his specificationsThank you very much and please advise me. Even though that I have opinions that the work was done up to industry standards, I would like the opportunity to have a professional from *** *** Paints, take a look at the property and write a report on itHowever I would need ***'s permission to enter the property in order to do that, since I will be there with the representative in all fairnessIf you could please obtain the permission for me, then I will be glad to continue on post-haste. I am rejecting this response because: For the same reason that I rejected it before. *** has not returned my call, if he had he would no that screens, shelf's and other item were not returned to the original places. Also he said that the higher cost was for the white color and not clear for the rails. I was not informed that the painting of the rails was going to cost additional, and *** agreed with me that he did not clear it with me. The hot tub room was included we talked about it and he reviewed the other bid showing that it was included in that bid, he said he would paint it. I did not agree to purchase the paint, why would I when I had already paid for all the paint. HE DID SAY THAT HE WOULD SEND ME A REFUND. I will end my complaint when he does as he said he would. I will agree to half of the $that he overcharged me just to be done with it.Thank you

I am rejecting this response because: Until some settlement is reached and completed I will not accept Also this does not address the incomplete and sloppy paint job we have invested double what it should have cost due to their repeated delays and incompetenceI believe there should be something returned regarding that work also.
