RAS Delivery Reviews (43)

I would like to acknowledge the good service provided by R.A.S. Delivery Services. Their team arrived within the specified time-frame and even though it was late afternoon, their employees were still up-beat, courteous and efficient as they carefully delivered our appliances.

Review: I Live in a new construction home built by William Ryan Homes. We had chosen our appliance which are all GE appliancs. As our understanding they were all installed by RAS applaince before we moved in. We have had issues with our dishwasher and which resulted the delivery of a 2nd dishwasher due to not being able to fix the first one we origonally had installed in our home. On July 2nd 2013 RAS Appliance came out to install our new dishwasher. On July 31st 2013 we awoke at 4:30 to water all over our counters and floors from what was discoverd as a hose and the air gap laying down in the cabinet below sink. We had put a emergency call into Dave Jones Plumbing because we at the time didnt know it was the dishwasher. We also had water down in our basement as well from the leaking of the water from the dishwasher running that night. The plumbers had arrived and they were the ones that discovered that the hose was in the bottom of the cabinet and the air gap vent not fastened on where it should be. the same morning as this has all happened my bhusband had to pull out the stove because of the water and discovered a strong oder of gas coming out. I had put a emergency call into WE energies and when the tech arrived and used his detector had found gas leaking from the conectors. He tightened them down. He had discovered that they were not properly fastened. So we now have water damaged floors and ruined cabinets because of a improper installation of a appliance. RAS is dragging their feet and not working fast enough on this. We have taken the steps in filing a claim through GE and was sent over to a [redacted] through RAS appliance. We also had Servpro which is a water and fire damage company come out and they used their moisture detector and we have moisture within our floors and under stove still. they are not sure if under the other cabinets are holding moisture as well. We have been told that we could have mold growing at this point. We have a brand new home and now our kitchen is ruined and now moild could be growing is scary. RAs Appliance is seemingly trying to put the blame on the plumbing company when they were not the ones who installed the 2nd dishwasher. the gas leak was also stated to RAS applaince and that is going no where. We are trying to verify exactly who installed the stove to know who is at fault for gas leak. No help ther either. Gas leak is a very dangerous situation but its being taken as a no big deal. Our kitchen is ruined and we could now be dealing with a health issue and its not getting anywhere. Thinking we need to might get a lawyer? Please help!Desired Settlement: We would like our kitchen fixed, we would like compensation for whatever it will be that we will have a non working kitchen for quite sometime. We would like some sort of compensation for the gas leak and putting my family and I in harms way of what could of possibly happened. Our kitchen will have to be torn apart so where will that leave me and my family for cooking and whatever else?

Review: On November 17,2014 RAS Delivery Services from Janesville Wis. delivered a refrigerator I purchased from Home Depot. When the refrigerator was push into place the water line was ran over by the appliance. I was unaware this happened until the next day when I got home from work and water was seeping up from the seams of my laminate flooring in the kitchen. The manager From RAS came to my house and took pictures of the damage and said he would start the process to get the issue resolved. I have left several voice mails with 2 different people at RAS and have not received a call back. I received a letter from them a few weeks later that said they were not responsible for the floor being damaged.Desired Settlement: I would like them to turn in a claim through their insurance company and have my floor replaced as it should be.

On 11/17/14, R.A.S.

delivered a refrigerator to the customer’s residence. The order was for

delivery only as R.A.S. was not able to complete the installation. Per manufacturer and vendor requirements,

installs cannot be completed when using old installation parts. In this situation, the customer had not

purchased a new waterline and his water source was not in the proper place for R.A.S.

to install. When R.A.S. arrived, the customer installed the old waterline

to the refrigerator and the appliance was pushed into place. R.A.S. then left the customer’s home.

The customer called on 11/19/14 to report he found that

there was a leak. On 11/22/14, the customer called to report water damage

to floor. Unfortunately R.A.S. was not afforded the opportunity to investigate

where the water was leaking. The

customer fixed the leak prior to our arrival and then told R.A.S. that the

delivery team ran over the waterline while putting the refrigerator into place,

causing a leak. Since the problem was fixed and nothing was leaking when

R.A.S. arrived, R.A.S. was not able to verify whether this was a water line

leak, connection leak or some other leak.

R.A.S. apologizes for any customer misfortunes that took

place since the delivery of their refrigerator.

However, when a customer installs an old water line in these situations,

the water line should be turned off and not turned on until R.A.S. can come to

the customer’s home to investigate what caused the leak. In this situation, the leak was repaired and

there was no indication that the leak was caused by the delivery team. R.A.S. also apologizes if there was any lack of communication

that took place since the incident.

We will look into this matter right away.
