Ray O. Cook Heating & Air

On 8/25/I submitted a complaint for Ray O Cook Heating and Air. The complaint was assigned ID ***. Last week the company came out and repaired my A/C to working order. Please close the complaint against the business

Mike T[redacted] works fo Ray O. Cook Company.
He was on time, introduced himself, was pleasant and instructed me on what he was
going to do to check out the air conditioner. He reviewed his findings with me and asked if I had any questions.

Steve serviced my AC today and did his company proud. He called ahead and arrived on time as expected. He was friendly and explained the process. He listened to my concerns and questions and, after his inspection, addressed them in a thorough manner explaining the issues and corrective procedures and remedies including the estimated cost to perform said procedures. The report provided at the end of the service was explained.

A very professional appearance and demeanor, Steve did a great job.

The service technician, Rory, from the Ray O. Cook company was punctual, professional, and polite. He was knowledgeable, showed me the parts which needed to be replaced, and worked steadily.

I would like to commend Danny P[redacted], Service Tech. He was doing a routine service and came back in the hall by the thermostat. The return air is right above this area. He asked if it always sounded like that, I told him it did. He said it wasn't right and wanted to investigate. He went up into the attic space and told me that the duct work needed to be replaced. (This was still under warranty from some work done several years before). The next day the section of duct was replaced as it was pulling apart. I am grateful for his attention to a matter I had no idea was happening.

Ray O. Cook was efficient, friendly, fast, and thorough in their replacement of our air conditioner. I would highly recommend them.

Mike T[redacted] did an outstanding job. He exceeded my expectations in all areas. He went beyond what needed to be done. He was very pleasant to work with. He explained everything and answered all my questions. He made valuable suggestions. We received excellent service from Mike and I will request him for our next service.

Willie and Rick showed up ready to work and didn't stop until the job was completed. We were very impressed by their work ethic and systematic approach to accomplish the task in the minimum time but still giving a quality job. Our experience with the professionals at Ray O. Cook was positive and would recommend them to anyone. The system evaluation pinpointed short falls in the original system and were planned for and corrected with the installation.

Danny did a great job explaining the issues.

We had Ray O Cook install a new air conditioner and heater. Willie D[redacted] and his team did a great job, they were professional, curious and worked as neat as possible. Would certainly recommend the company.

I've been with Ray O. Cook for almost 13 years and recently had my system replaced. I like that I have the same technician servicing my system each time. Steve has always completed a thorough diagnosis of my system and taken the time to ensure it's working properly and efficiently.

Paul M[redacted] and his team of professionals did an excellent job installing a whole new system in my home. They inspected my set-up and helped select the best installation and equipment options in an efficient, friendly, and professional manner. Installation was completed by his team in a single day, with no short cuts. The entire house is now cooler, quieter, and more pleasant than before, thanks to Ray O. Cook. I have already recommended this company and Paul specifically to two of my friends...one of which has already had a consultation and scheduled work on his own home.

I have used this company since buying my house in 2007. From service to installation of a new system in 2015 I have always found the technicians to be prompt, friendly, techically competent and professional in every way. I highly recommend Ray O.Cook air/heating to anyone needing service or advice.

There Service Technician Mike T., arrived early for our appointment and was eager to get started. Wore shoe covers and had All of his equipment at hand. Our air conditioning had been out for 4 days, weather in the low 100's. He immediately assessed the situation, got on the roof and checked the unit. Mike explained, in detail, what the problem was and the various options we had. He communicated with his company and they were there to help us resolve our concerns, the Management even worked with my Husband personally to get us back up and running ASAP, which Mike did. We have worked with other Air/Heat companies and not one technician has been as knowledgeable, personable, detail to complete comments as to work done. Very professional. Good job Ray O. Cook on an excellent employee which is a positive reflection on your company and staff - thank you!!

I had routine service performed on my A/C unit today. In addition, the technician installed a Head Start kit for the A/C condenser.

The technician provided Outstanding Service and explained steps he was taken throughout the entire process. Mike was certainly customer focus throughout the procedure as he explained what he was doing, the reason for the installation and the benefits that would result in a better operating system.

My serviceman was Rory and he did a very professional and complete job. I have no complaints with his effort. The only thing I might say is that he got into air flow rates and square inches of ductwork vs fan capacity without any lead in education for me on why these numbers should matter to me. Overall, I think he was excellent.

The whole Ray O. Cook team were extremely professional, no nonsense and know their their product. From the initial tune-up to the in home evaluation, testing and recommending the right system for our house. Giving us all the information in terms we could understand, didn't pressure us to buy something we did not need. We chose Ray O. Cook to replace our entire heating and air system, the technicians that removed and replaced our systems knew what they were doing, extremely professional. I, without reservations, would recommend the Ray O. Cook company for any heating/Air needs.

Steve B[redacted] from Ray O. Cook Co. did us a great service by making a service call to get our AC operating again in our home. I had just returned from a long vacation to find a very hot house in 107 degree temperatures. Steve B[redacted] arrived very quickly after my call to the dispatchers. I could see that he had been working long hours in this heat wave. Steve was so polite and knowledgeable, working all along with his plastic boot covers on to keep our floors clean. He quickly diagnosed the problem and got the AC operating for us. He found a problem for us to pursue with a house wiring electrician. Thanks Steve! You were great. KEIKO and DEREK

I have been dealing with the company for the last seven years. They are great to work with, all the employees are well trained and responsible and neat and polite.
