Thank you for your comments, and we deeply apologize for any miscommunication Because of the Hurricane, we had delays in shipping with some of our materials We have you on the schedule to start your project next week on 9/- if this is not convenient or if you have any further concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us directly and we are more than happy to work with you

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint Again, it is very disappointing that REBATH again fail to admit and take responsibility for the dishonest work of their sales person Your sales person is the one that lead to this current state of the shower and in covering his dishonesty we the customer are being forced to pay addition to fix the mess he created It is not our faultwe are not getting the shower we asked for and want!!! We are 120% dissatisfied with how the shower has been installed because AGAIN we DID NOT CONSENT for the shelf and would have not agreed to the base size if your sales person communicated that the base size required a shelf or us having a SMALLER SHOWER WHICH AGAIN WE MADE SUPER CLEAR TO THE SALES PERSON THAT THE SIZE OF THIS SHOWER IS IMPORTANT AND NEEDS TO BIGGER!!! AGAIN this is a clear fact because you TAMPERED with the contract WITHOUT our consent I did not consent to ordering of the shower doors and therefore did NOT consent to charging of my credit card!! The contract clearly written that the credit card was only to be used for the downpaymentATTACHING A SNAP SHOT WHERE IN THE CONTRACT THAT ONLY THE 3K WAS CONSENTED TO BE CHARGED ON THE CREDIT CARD!!!!FAULT OF REBATH:#MISLEADING CUSTOMER TO AGREE TO AN INCORRECT BASE SIZE THEN,#FAILURE TO COMMUNICATE WITH CUSTOMER REGARDING THE IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING THE BASE SIZE SELECTED.#TAMPERING WITH A COMPLETE CONTRACT TO COVER DISHONEST IN #& #THEN,# INSTALLING THE SHELF WITHOUT THE CUSTOMER'S CONSENT#FAILURE TO COMMUNICATE AND RECIEVE ANY CONSENT FROM THE CUSTOMER BEFORE CHARGING THEIR CREDIT CARD TO PUT THE BLAME ON THE CUSTOMER AND CHARGE THEM IN ORDER TO CORRECT REBATH'S FAULT IS AGAIN, DISHONEST AND POOR SERVICE!!! Regards,

Hello, I apologize for any miscommunication and we are returning to your home tomorrow to finish all of the work

The mold report states that "Due to the fact that the leak had been resolved and the drywall had been replaced/and or allowed enough time to dry no moisture could be detected" Again, ReBath is not responsible for the drywall work on the opposite side of the garage from where the leak happened, and we have already repaired the damage caused by the faulty O-Ring

We signed a contract with ReBath for a master bath room remodeling project on 10/17/I believe they consider the work complete as of 4/10/(although I am still waiting on a confirmation)The project was a nightmareI could write a whole book about the problems with this company, but I will focus only on the highlightsSales pitch It turned out that several statements made by the sales person (Ernie) were incorrectHe promised a start date in early DecemberWe talked with him in length about our timing issuesWhen we did not hear from ReBath after Thanksgiving we contacted Ernie and he had no idea what the status of the project wasHe called back a few days later and said that material was missingTurned out that was not trueThe operations manager (Ritchy) told us that he had no installer availableErnie sold us brushed nickel faucetsIt turns out they don't exist (stainless steel comes closest)Ernie talked about an installation crew and installersIt turned out the crew was a one man showErnie told us that the wall material is "engineered stone" (similar to Silestone which we have in our kitchen)It turned out that it is a polymer material that is not even close to engineered stoneProject execution After Ritchy found an installer the work (with the exception of the glass enclosure for the shower) was completed within days on 12/16/Unfortunately the quality of work was not greatOne sink was leaking, caulking was missing, the window sills were crookedSome of that was fixed on 12/19/The window sills were replaced in February (it took the installer two days)While they had several weeks to order the material for the window sills the material was not available on 2/13/Glass enclosure The glass work was an absolute disasterThe guy who took the first measurement was totally incompetent (first day on the job)Another guy came a week later or so to repeat the measurementsThe glass was installed on 12/30/The glass was not parallel to the shower base and the pony wallThe door was not levelThe guide rails had sharp edges and did not fit togetherI immediately complained about the poor quality of work and sent pictures to ReBathRitchy and another ReBath person (Don) came to our house on 1/13/to look at the work (that was the first time that a ReBath supervisor actually looked at the work)They agreed that the shower glass and the window sills needed to be redoneA glass guy came on 1/18/He had no tape measure, no paper and no idea what he was supposed to doHe ended up measuring the shower glassOn 2/13/the glass guy came back to remove the glassThe same day another installer came to redo the pony wallOn 2/17/I was informed by the installer fixing the window sills that the new glass was not manufactured correctlyI got a new glass installation date of 3/9/It turned out that the glass was again not correct (I was never able to find out whether they measured incorrectly or the glass was manufactured incorrectly)In a rush action the glass was manufactured the same day and installed on 3/9/with some additional work to be done on 3/10/The installation was much better than the one done in December, but there was a gap between the door sweep and the shower baseThe glass people gave me all kinds of weird reasons why the gap was needed (including the statement that it is an OSHA requirement)I informed Ritchy about the gapI did not hear from him until 3/21/when he inquired about any concerns (That was after I contacted the ReBath Corporate office in Mesa, AZ)He sent his glass people back to address the gap issueTheir solution was to glue a piece of plastic on the shower baseI told Ritchy immediately that I don't consider this an acceptable solutionSo Ritchy came to our house on 4/10/to look at the shower doorHe ripped out the piece of plastic and told us that his glass guy would come back the same day and install some shims in the door sweep to extend itThat work was done and I emailed Ritchy and asked him whether he considers the project completeNo answer as of todayThere is still a 1/inch gap between the door sweep and the shower baseSupervision While I like employee empowerment ReBath went too farThe company basically does not provide any supervision of their installersWe did not see once a supervisor checking on the installerI can only hope that what is not visible now was installed correctlyManagement I emailed the owner of the franchise (Elena [redacted] ) several times during the course of the project and raised my concernsAll I got was a "thank you for your email"I never received an apology for the ongoing issues that prevented us from using our shower for several weeks and the time we had to be at home when the installers and especially the glass people came back to fix problems or to measureWhile they did some clean up we always had to clean up after themIt was a totally disappointing experienceInsult to injury After we experienced all these problems and before the shower glass issue was addressed ReBath sent us a letter asking us to recommend them to our friends in exchange for a $checkWe want to keep our friendsI have at least emails going back and forth to address project issues for a rather simple projectI have never experienced such a poorly executed projectI cannot recommend this company

We absolutely did agree to fix the hole in the ceiling, even though we did not cause the hole We offered that as a courtesy to you, but you refused We are happy to fix the hole but we would like you to sign off first that you already had previous water damage when you bought the home, which is what you told us in the first place Again, we are happy to fix it for free as a courtesy to you

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint [Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.] Regards, Can you prove it's not caused by the faulty Tub Spout? I don't think so! Your guys already saw some of the Exterior damage it caused.(walls, base boards, ceiling) The water came through the ceiling and that tells us there is more damage beneath the surface but they didn't want to investigate further by cutting more drywall as stated in the report

First of all your guy was out that [redacted] and [redacted] and I call the following [redacted] after speaking to my [redacted] the next day and realizing that you did not look at the damage through the hole you put in my closet wallSo it was not a week later( you may have gotten my messages a week later as communication is slowly processed there as I have witnessed)Anyway I thought the hole was the access point in which you made a determination on whether anything was damage from the water leak through my garagebut when I found out did not follow up as you said and also as the Insurance adjuster showed on the survey, I was lividSecondly, please don't tell me what water damage can do because we have already experienced it dealing with this nightmarein addition, there are catastrophies across the country dealing with water damage has doneIf water is not contained it "WILL" spreadAs I stated earlier you were given specific instructions on paper documents by a professional Insurance adjuster but you chose to ignore and do what you wanted to dolastly, this was not about pleasing the customer, it was about self gratificationHad you thoroughly went through the details, this complaint would not be filedI signed the paperwork thinking that you had looked at the problem from the inside wall and determined there was no damageI don't feel I have to babysit professional Adults

Hello Revdex.com,I have spoken with Mr [redacted] in great detail, and together we have come to a resolution and he is prepared to close this claimSincerely,Lisa ***ReBath, LLC

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint [Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.]If you were going to fix the hole it could have been taken care of last week or the week before or the same day I first brought it up to Eric the installerBut that in fact was not the caseEither Eric did not pass the complaint on at first or it was ignored then he was moved to another jobThen I showed Christian the drywall guy and again he either did not pass it on or it was ignoredThen Ritchy came to my home after I begged to get someone here who could finish up the job which was started a full month earlierHe saw the hole and said he would have to get with Greg to see if it could be repaired this was on a Thursday I didn't here anything back until Tuesday and that was only after I made several attempts to contact RitchyWhat I was told was they would not be able to repair the hole because there was a water mark on the ceilingA water mark is not a hole the hole was created by a Re-bath employeeIt was an accident but one that should have been taken care of with no argument or push backIn the end after a complaint was made I was told they could fix the hole but only if I signed a paper saying there employee did not make the holeThis is unethical and not the way any responsible business owner should respond and it is certainly not how someone who is"happy to fix the hole" would reactI no longer want Re-bath in my home because I do not like the way I was treated or how I was indirectly accused of lying about a hole in the ceiling that Greg repeatedly said he would not fix if I did not sign his paper which would say they didn't create a hole that they did createI do feel I should be refunded the amount it will cost to have the hole repaired as well as the amount for the towel bar which they could not install do to ordering one that was to large for the space which to this date has not been mentioned by Greg even though the day Ritchy was here he did acknowledge it and I watched him write it downRe-bath was very quick to get there last payment even before the initial job was completed but I will be interested to see just how long it will take to get back even the small amount the towel bar probably costI have also requested an itemized bill and was told by the receptionist she didn't think they did that but Ritchy would look in to itI not been contacted about it Regards,

We were quoted a master bath remodel...but not the complete turnkey We did half the demo ourselves...cabinets, toilet, vanity and flooring All Rebath had to do was demo the bath/shower combo and the sheetrock and replace both No paint, no floors, no cabinets Only install the bath/shower combo and new outside wall insulation and sheetrock First round of sheetrock had to be torn back out again due to the poor quality of installation The Salesman quoted a day job One day tear out, day install The job started weeks ago (9/29/17) And now....just found out on 10/13/17, Rebath Houston has 'closed their doors' After two weeks I only have one wall of the tub/shower combo, a tub that is NOT framed in and still not all the sheetrock back on the walls REBATH Houston was not even professional enough to make a phone call If it wasn't for one of the crew being professional and informing us we would have had no idea Before they closed the doors we were unable to get th

Hello, Thank you for your feedback. The contract that you signed on 8/12 begins the 3 day right to cancel. You told us on 8/18 that you wanted to cancel your contract after we let you know that since you downgraded from 2 bathrooms to 1 bathroom, you lost your multi-bathroom discount.... Immediately you wanted to cancel, but unfortunately the three day period had already passed. We are more than happy to work with you to install the 1 bathroom that you agreed upon. I have attached a copy of all of the emails that have gone back and forth for the BBB to review.

There were things that were not told to us during the saleInformation was omitted that might have changed how we ordered the showerThe corner caddy color will not match the wallsAfter installation we noticed this and were told this was and the best they can doThere is a list of over cleaning products that cannot be used on the walls No abrasivesIf you use one of these it will void the warrantyIF you get a glass doors they are only warrantied for yearOurs now sags and it is now our problemThe shower fixture is only covered for yearOurs has been replaced once as defective, but now the replacement drips on the shower floorThe water dripping on the floor causes discoloration We have a paint can hanging from the shower head to catch the water We dump it before every showerIF we don't do this the dripping water on the floor will discolor the floorThe shower walls are fragile, easily scratched, and difficult to dryA squeegee will scratch the walls We found a “dog drying mitt” that works to dry the wallsYou cannot use anything with a suction cup on the wallsIt voids the warrantyYou cannot install anything on the walls yourselfIt voids the warrantyThe original Grab bars were cheap and detract from the shower wallsWe had to upgradeWe were told that the corners and seams would be caulked with a color that matches the walls, and they would be done in a manner that would make the seams nearly invisibleThe seams were a different color and very visibleOur calls were not returned“Bigger” jobs were given priority to “smaller” jobsWe were told it would take weeks June 25th to Sept 12th is weeks from purchase Not counting the glass shower door, which we bought later due to finances

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me ClientI could see them nowThen for the next step, what should I do? I mean, I have already paid and the project was finished on FRI 9/18, not on WED 9/The service itself was okBut I am not sartisfied with the customer service itself at allTheir action for Revdex.com is super great as you can seeThey send this message just 2hours later the project was done! So quick action for Revdex.com, but not for us

On or about in December we contacted Re-Bath of Houston to do a bathroom remodelEverything was setup and we were contacted about month later once all the materials arrivedThey sent out a contractor who went proceeded to demo the old bathroom and tubThen a journeyman plumber [redacted] arrived the next day, or so I thought [redacted] informed me that in order to make the shower work, he would have to re-locate the p-trapSo out came the jackhammer He proceeded to cut “TWO” of my “post-tensioned” cables in my foundationHe “thought” they were rebarI asked him how he could have thought that with the “blue” sheath the cables were located inHe went on to tell me that he was instructed to cut they by [redacted] and that he had even sent [redacted] photos Little did I know that was **’s last day, he had put notice in the leave the company weeks bef*I called and talked to [redacted] and he did not believe they were post-tensioned cablesHe then came out to our house with [redacted] ***

We regret to post such a negative review of a company, but we were left with no choiceFor months we have waited for an official response from management regarding our letters of discontent to the company; the only response we have received are half-hearted attempts at contact by the salesman, about whom we have our most serious complaintIt is mystifying that our requests for discourse regarding our dissatisfaction over the salesman and his tactics have been met with silenceWe have sent three letters, the latest of which advised of our going public with our grievances if we did not hear from management; we thus feel we have been left with no other remedy than to acquiesce to their request of posting online reviewsThe salesman, Alex ***, absolutely lied about everythingHe stated that RE-Bath manufactured their own solid surfacing; they do notThey manufacture a plastic veneer and plastic bathtub which were installed in our smaller bathThe solid surfacing they used in the larger bath is manufactured by a company in Kansas, and has nothing to do with RE-BathThe receptionist who initially answered our call and scheduled our appointment also lied – she insisted that RE-Bath only uses solid surfacing – see above regarding the plastic veneerThe salesman stated that this was a special product of superior qualityI fail to see what is special about plastic walls and a plastic tub, which cannot be cleaned with ordinary cleansers and requires special products to not void the warranty – a fact conveniently revealed only after installation and paymentAlex *** also described brigades of highly skilled journeymen who would descend upon our home and have the work done quickly and efficiently; only one young man came to our house each day, save the two days when he required a second person to install heavy itemsWe specifically asked Alex *** how long it would take to complete each bathroom; we understand these things take time, and only wanted to be prepared and able to work our schedule around their needsHe stated that the smaller bath would take one day, and the larger bath would only be a few daysWe found his assertion to be preposterous, so we again very specifically asked how long until each bath was completed; he asserted that “they’ll have the hall bath knocked out in one day” and that the larger bath “would be a few days” then upon reflection decided to qualify his statement with “but the shower glass will take a few days more to come in.”
Considering that it takes two days for the grout to set and dry, and that the shower glass itself takes a minimum of two weeks to be manufactured, let alone the time it takes to be scheduled for installation, it was ridiculous for him to make the assertions he didIt is incredulous that he could work as a salesman for this company and not know these things, so he absolutely and purposely liedWork started on our baths on March 1st, and was not completed until May 5th, when the final cabinet was installedWe will grant that the bath was usably complete without the cabinet, but considering that the wrong one was ordered to begin with, that this was known the first week of March and no one bothered to tell us about it until the installer apologized in mid-April for not being able to finish (he’d hoped the replacement would be in by then) it is very generous of us to grant it indeedRE-Bath came in at more than 30% higher than other companiesWe were specifically told by Alex *** the reason RE-Bath costs so much more than their competitors is their large, skilled work crews, greater efficiency, shorter work times and superiority of product – which all turned out to be liesIt is this 30% that we seek in consideration from RE-Bath
