Review: I checked my credit report and found this company billing me for 47 dollars. the explanation was I owe patient first that money. I had negotiated with [redacted] after [redacted] refused to cover my bill hence I paid them 87 ([redacted]) dollars for the service and the matter was closed. I never received any notice from this receivable management system or any form of correspondence from them. When I called today on July 8th 2016, the gentlemen who never identified himself literally hanged up the phone when I tried to enquire about this bill while patient first states very well I have satisfied my bill.Desired Settlement: Sort out the issue with patient first and do the correction accordingly as its affecting my credit when the bill is already cleared.

Review: I have repeatedly tried to resolve an account balance that is incorrect by calling and faxing documentation providing proof of payment to the original vendor. Each time I contact the business I am met with a representative that is rude and unable to provide clear direction as to the best way to resolve this issues. To the point of harassment since this has been going on since April. Most the interactions with Nicole W[redacted] who I also reported to the business without response.Desired Settlement: They need to resolve this issue and remove our information as being any type of collections or outstanding on all reports.

Review: My daughter who is under my insurance went to a medical facility near her college. The bill was mistakenly sent to a wrong address and went unpaid. I tried to use the medical facilities online portal to pay the bill but the portal did not provide enough information. When I called the facility to pay over the phone I was told that the bill had been sent to collections. I asked the amount for the services and paid that amount on 3/21/2016 to the medical facility directly. They also informed me that there was an 'collection service charge' that RMS would require I pay. I called RMS and told them I have not received ANY correspondence from them to which [redacted] P[redacted] started to explain that they have mailed and called me. I repeated again that I have no correspondences from them. He insisted that they keep logs AND that they had called me that very day. I NEVER left my house on 3/21/2016. I have the caller id logs to prove that they never called me. I believe this company is not informing consumers of the attempt to collect in order to be able to collect additional interest and collection fees. I do not believe I should have to pay this charge as I was never aware of the initial charge to begin with due to a billing address issue and more importantly RMS HAS NEVER CONTACTED ME.Desired Settlement: Since the medical service part of this bill is paid in full the additional fees should be removed.

March 22, 2016 [redacted]Revdex.com720 Moorefield Park Drive, Suite 300Richmond, VA 23236Dear Ms. [redacted]:This is in response to the case number [redacted] from [redacted]. The account we are showing in our system belongs to Ms. [redacted] daughter. Ms. [redacted] did contact Receivables Management Systems (RMS) on 3/21/2016 after her daughter contacted RMS giving us permission to speak to Ms. [redacted]. Ms. [redacted] spoke to a supervisor and was informed that she is responsible for the remaining balance on the account due to the agreement her daughter signed with the original creditor at the time of service. RMS will request the documents from the original creditor and will forward information via mail to the address provided on this letter, it also matches the address we show on file on our system. Should Ms. [redacted] have further questions, she can feel free to contact RMS by calling [redacted] Sincerely, [redacted]

Response:

I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

The response says ' Ms. [redacted] spoke to a supervisor and was informed that she is responsible for the remaining balance on the account due to the agreement her daughter signed with the original creditor at the time of service.' That is not a true statement. I did not speak with a supervisor on March 21, 2016. I left a message for the supervisor and did not receive a call back. Also - the employee that I spoke to ([redacted]) did not go into any details regarding an agreement that my daughter signed although I assume is it the normal paperwork signed at a doctors office regarding financial responsibility. I did however speak with the supervisor ([redacted]) today 3/22/16 when I called again to inquire why no one returned my call from yesterday. I am working directly with [redacted] now as he has requested information regarding the sequence of events in writing. The main reason for my complaint is that this company has NEVER contacted me in regards to owing anything more than what I have already paid to the provider of the medical service and in fact stated falsely that they called me on 3/21/2016 and many times prior. I have the phone logs there are no calls from them period. At this point it is not about the money- it is about the business practices of this company.

I am wondering if you can help me out with a situation. Since I filed the complaint with the Revdex.com (#[redacted]) and it has been closed, the company RMS will not return my calls. I have called and left at least 10 messages (some on Joe's phone extension and some Stephanie S[redacted] extension).

Review: Receivable Management is reporting an unknown owed amount of money to my credit report. They have failed to follow proper collection laws in the state of PA. The credit report address number is Experian [redacted]. This information has adverse affects to my good credit standing. The following was never done to notify me of this;

1. Right of Due Process with notifing me of an invoice owed.

2. Itemized breakdown on an invoice.

3. Reporting negative information to credit report without notifying me.Desired Settlement: Remove negative information off my credit report within 30 days.

If the negative information is not removed within 30 days, I will seek Local, State and Federal laws that were broken and seek suit on damages this has cause me.

Review: I was checking my credit report last week and was surprised to see that "Receivables Management Systems" has report a billing to Credit Bureau, and when I called them to know details about this they are very reluctant and didn't bother to respond to my call correctly. They didn't share the details of the bill, except that it's from Emergency Care " [redacted]". I logged into my insurance company and found that the [redacted] did bill my insurance, but the EOB I see that I don't owe anything and insurance mentioned that I didn't owe anything and in fact [redacted] billed Insurance with wrong medical codes and they are waiting for correct claim. Instead of submitting the correct claim, they in turn submitted my account to collection agency who in turn reports to credit bureau.

My credit report is effected because of this and I need this to be removed from my credit report.Desired Settlement: Please remove this from the credit report and have Patient first Claim my insurance correctly.

Review: I contacted this company in reference to My Account to make arrangements to make a payment to have this removed off of my credit. This account is extremely old and the gentleman that I spoke with Damon was nothing but rude and disrespectful and hung up in my face although I did not use any derogatory language with him. I asked how do I dispute these charges because I haven't heard a whole lot of things on an account that I was not privy to knowing where it even came from. He explained to me that I was to pay interest on my account as it is daily. As a healthcare worker and a health care provider who has worked in the insurance industry I thought that this is a little strange considering this is not a bill for a car note or something of that nature. I did not sign anything stating that I would pay interest on a medical bill. So I asked him for documentation so that if in fact I did sign something like that they will provide me with the documents and I can rectify the situation we could come to an agreement and this account can be removed he hung up in my face. I'll call back I requested the manager he stated the manager isn't there just leave a message and hung up in my face. I'll call back and ask for the address that I can send it to Steve he said the address so fast that all I got was the p.o. box I didn't even get the p.o box number. After that I called back and asked what the address that I provided for him in Chesterfield Virginia a valid address for his company he stated yes I said I will make a trip down there myself he hung up in my face. All I'm trying to do is get this rectified and get this removed off of my credit as for this is a very old account however if they are going to be rude and disrespectful I don't understand how they expect to get business handled. They need to be investigated the customer service is terrible and unfortunately you won't get people to pay a bill that they're not even sure is valid if you're not willing to provide documentationDesired Settlement: I would like the charges explained in a statement I would like the interest taken off if in fact I am responsible for this payment I would like to make a payment arrangement and get this removed off of my credit as soon as possible. I also would like them to be investigated for their customer service skills.

Review: I had an account ([redacted]) in collections with this company and paid it in full on 06/30/2015. Ref#: [redacted] The charge posted in my bank account 07/01/2015. As of July 17th, 2015 they are still reporting the account as open and placed for collections. I called them asking why it had not been removed but received little to no help. Review: In May 2015 I contacted RMS with ref. to an outstanding bill for $15. Bill resulted from a [redacted] visit for my daughter for which I am the insurance holder. Received several bills from ER's and [redacted] during the period and paid all immediately. Thought the bill was already paid with others. When learned that it was not paid immediately. Spoke with an RMS rep. who advised to attach a letter with payment and negative entry with [redacted] would be removed from daughter's credit history (sole entry). On May 29, 2015 sent the payment in full and a letter explaining the negative entry; if any should have been on my account and not daughter's since I was the insurance holder. RMS advised that the entry would be removed and 8 months later the entry still remains. It was an error, an extremely small amount and is negatively affecting my daughter's credit. Ref. Acct #[redacted] Payment confirm# [redacted] and [redacted]Desired Settlement: This bill was mistakenly reported to my daughter [redacted] credit and should have been removed as agreed upon by RMS. Please remove from credit history as agreed.

Review: When contacted the company to give details about the charges, the person just said to contact the company that provided the services and hung up. It is clear that they just want the money rather then helping sort the issue.

The collection company said they dont have the date of service. When I contacted the provider, they mentioned that the date of service was sent to the collection agency. Some one is telling a lie and I want to make sure that customers are not given the run around.Desired Settlement: The bill is already in progress with the insurance company paying the medical provider. The collection agency should stop its action of harassing people by not answering the questions asked by the consumer.

The problem is that their employees lie. I was told on the phone that they did not even talk to my wife as she had left them a voicemail. I want to make sure the company is not out there to rip off people like me of their hard earned money by telling lies. Maybe they need to review their phone recordings that they claim to record.

I have not recieved any new documentation to determine why the amount is being charged. Furthermore, any previous statements from RMS did not match the billing and balance as posted by patient first. Please provide in depth details to the charge and how it correlates to patient first. I have no idea what 'other' means, also don't understand why it is accuring interest on something that shouldn't exist.

[redacted]In response to the complaint number 10325078 in regards to [redacted] as previous stated we mailed information to [redacted], showing why he still owes a balance. We sent [redacted] a copy of the Virginia Treatment and Payment Policies that he signed at the time of service. [redacted] need to understand that the original balance was assigned to Receivables Management Systems on 09/18/2014. [redacted] paid the original balance of $25.76 on 10/31/2014 which was after the account was assigned to collections. According to the Virginia Treatment and Payment Policies it states "Delinquent accounts may be turned over to a collection agency at which time you agree to be responsible for the collections charges and all associated legal fees in addition to the amount owed." Therefore, this is why [redacted] still owes the balance of $40.61. If [redacted] has further questions in regards to this balance, he can contact our office at the number listed below.Sincerely,

As provided in my last reply, I currently do not owe anything to RMS because their statement says 'due our patient first'. And as confirmed from there reply I don't owe [redacted] any amount. I am not refusing having to pay a collection fee. But to date I have not received a detailed statement that claims I owe anything to RMS. I consider this manner closed and will not expect any further billing from RMS. If there is a bill a new claim will be opened.

Review: [redacted] (my acct # [redacted]) placed my medical bill into collection even though I paid them. As a result of my two (2) insurance providers disputing over who should pay my medical bill of S127.00 to [redacted] for a doctor’s visit, [redacted] placed the bill into collection with Receivables Management (My acct # [redacted]), [redacted] Receivables Management provided the three credit reporting agencies with negative information that was placed on my credit reports and charged me a management fee of $49.00 even though I paid [redacted]. I disputed with the credit reporting agencies and they responded that the claim against me was verified, but provided no proof. I disputed with [redacted] and they said that the bill was placed into collection with Receivables Management, even though I paid them. When I disputed this issue with Receivables Management, they did not respond to my written request.Desired Settlement: For Receivables Management to contact all three credit reporting agencies and have my credit reports corrected.
