Customer Service with this company is horrible. Requested information to change name of my company and the bank information where the credit card deposits were made. I was given forms with the wrong email, was told that Savannah Pedraza was handling my case. Left several voicemail messages for her with my phone number, sent her emails with my email address and phone number, never heard from her. Left a voicemail with her supervisor, never heard from her either. Was told by a CSR rep that he just spoke to her and she was going to call me right back, and he even read me the phone number she was to call me on. It's almost 3 weeks later, and I still haven't heard from her via phone. However, she did send me a letter stating that they regret to inform me that they can not make the necessary changes to my account because no one ever returned her call. I will NEVER do business with this company and recommend if you are considering it to find another resource.

We did not fall for this scam! This company should not be allowed to send these letters out to new homeowners!!

I am rejecting this response because: I do not agree with the time frame that was stated and if I had a way to contact them directly, I would have. I want a phone number, not a mailing address. I also want my money back now and do not wish to recieve the services...

from this company.  I believe they are scamming people out of their money and charge a rediculous amount of money for something I could go down the street for and pay only 25 cents a copy. Please helpe get myomey back and cancel the transaction immediately.

I just received a solicitation from this company in the mail. It initially reads as some sort of obligated demand. I am fortunate to have been in the title closing business and knew it for what it was. I am very concerned that the language could lead some to believe that the information and documents are necessary at a disturbingly inflated price. The most infuriating part of this is these documents and the information they provide has already been provided to purchasers during their closing (or after in the case of recorded deeds).

They try to dupe people out of money!
Making them THINK they need these forms! The information they are "selling" is public information and/or can be purchased from the county clerk OR MUCH LESS.
YOU ALL SHOULD BE ASHAMED!!!!

Received a letter in the mail asking for $83.00 to get a copy of my property deed. Late 2014 after purchasing a property. So, my name and address must've been sold in the transfer somewhere. Confirmed by my title company as indeed a SCAM! 2015-03-16.

Review: Bogus, scam. Have received nothing and no communication other than a 2nd notice requesting more money.Desired Settlement: Refund the money and bar their "source" from selling our information as recent purchases. If they cannot be barred from selling information, at least provide disclosure of their source of information so that people can opt out of being scammed

Review: I recently moved ownership of my residence from my name into a family trust. I went to the County Clerk and filled out appropriate paperwork, paid a fee and was told the deed would take a while to prepare but I would hear from them via the US mail. A few weeks later I received an official looking document, obviously created to mirror what a government agency would send, stating I needed to mail $83 to gain the deed I had just applied for. I mailed the check and soon after a few more similar looking documents asking for money arrived and I knew I had been tricked by deceptive marketing. The envelope arrived last week and there was an unofficial copy of the deed stamped UNOFFICIAL DOCUMENT and several pages of documents that I already had copies of with my signature on them. There is a phone number on the cover sheet with a recording that states a customer representative will return the call "promptly." I have left four messages on four different days and there has been no call back prompting this contact with Revdex.com (which I have never done before) I don't view this as a service to the consumer. My guess is that if the consumer knew exactly what they were going to get, this business would have very little business if any. The letter was deceptive and unethical marketing at its bestDesired Settlement: I would like a refund for the $83.

I am rejecting this response because:

I did receive your message that the company was willing to refund the charge if I sent the documents back, which I did promptly. I have not received a refund yet so the case is not closed. I will alert you when the refund check arrives. If you want me to handle this in a different manner please let me know.

Regards,

This company is a taking advantage of those who are not well informed about deeds, The company sends letters offering customers copies of the deeds for properties when any individual can go to any register of deeds, many online, and obtain a copy of ANY recorded document for as little as $1.oo per page. Deeds in Michigan are generally 1 - 2 pages, when I called to confront this "business" about defrauding individuals the person who answered kept talking over me, very rude and very unprofessional, but of coarse what would you expect from a low grade fraudulent group like this. Customers beware! don't fill their pockets with your hard earned money let them go get real jobs like the rest of us. Take time to visit your local Register of Deeds or county Clerks office to learn about other items that are available to you at little to no charge.

Review: Record Transfer Services send me a notice labeled "RECORDED DEED NOTICE" to appear official but it is a useless service hoping I would make an $83 payment. I believe they provide misleading advertisement in look and appearance. Please consider this complaint. Best Regards,[redacted]Desired Settlement: Full refund of my payment.

Review: Shortly after purchasing a home I received an official-looking letter requesting $83 to transfer my deed and receive a copy. I paid and was told that the deed would arrive at the end of November. I called in mid-December and was told that it was going out within 48 hours. Called mid-January and was told it went out January 9th.Now, at this point I searched for this business online and realized that it was most-likely a scam, even though they claim that this is a legitimate service, albeit and unnecessary one because your deed can be obtain at little or no cost.Anyway, then I called and requested a refund, and was told it would be sent out in a few days. Of course, I don't expect a refund. In fact, had they actually sent the deed I would have had no reason to complain and ask for a refund. That's what's so stupid about this company.Desired Settlement: I have requested a refund and have been given a confirmation number, and it was funny, when the girl read it to me it seemed as if she was trying to muddle the numbers together so I couldn't hear. I had to ask several times. I wouldn't be surprised if she made it up off the top of her head.Prove me wrong Record Transfer Services by refunding my $83.

Review: I am a new homeowner and received a letter in the mail shortly after moving into my home from Record Transfer Services. The letter had a compliance response date with detail indicating why I needed to purchase a copy of my grant deed and property profile. The nature of the letter is such that I was made to believe it was mandatory to obtain a copy, and in order to do so, I must pay for it in the sum of $83. My check was cashed on May 8, 2014. I now realize that this was a scam and I am requesting a full refund from the company. As an additional note, I did not ever receive a document in the mail for my payment.Desired Settlement: My request is for a refund in the amount of $83.

Review: We received by mail a solicitation for $83.00 for a copy of our current grant deed and property assessment profile. My husband, Philip Sweet, and I were in the process of updating the deed to our property. We were naive enough to think this was a legitimate correspondence. However, we were advised by our real estate attorney that we had already paid for this through their office. We were also advised that the information sent to us by Record Transfer Services could have been obtained through the county for a minimal fee. We have requested a refund of the $83.00 from Record Transfer Services and are awaiting a response.Desired Settlement: $83.00

Response:

The response was in error. The business reported that the Revdex.com was the only correspondence they received regarding the issue. We sent a letter 8/15/2014 to Record Transfer Service and received a response on 8/19/2014. Yes, the 30 day money back guarantee had expired. Lesson learned.

Review: Husband and I received a notice from Transfer Records SSurvives aka Deed Processing Center from this office, offering a copy of our DEED and other property information. We just purchased our home in September, received notice in October. Wrote a check and sent in to PO BOX 6609,CA 91359. Check date was 10/25/2013. At the end of December I realized we had not received anything and had to do research to find their office, found and called and was told their was some type of delay but I could geta refund. Received my refund check 01/10/2014, the check is paid to order to HENG DONUT JUNCTION. What a scam, they are frauds and I am considering suing for false advetising and then sending me a fraudelent refund check? Please helpDesired Settlement: What you all think is fair?

I am rejecting this response because they need to send me a stamp to return of the fraudulent check provided to me. I have already sent my money and stamp in November for $83 plus the cost of what I paid for a stamp. Send me a prepaid envelope and refund. I don't trust this company and I want my money returned.

Review: I received a notice in the mail from this company promising to provide a copy of the deed for my newly purchased home. I sent in the requested payment, but have received no deed and there was no contact information on the information I received.Desired Settlement: I would like to have my check refunded.

I received 2 letters in the mail. One is from Record Transfer Service $83.00 and the other is Record Recovery Serivces of $87.00. This is such a scam. It's all public information. You would have paid for your deed cost at closing. These 2 companies have the same parcel # for the payment requesting it. Stay away!
