I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.The code was indeed listed on their website (as advertising) the code went through, it should not have been allowed to go through if sandals were excluded. The response did not even touch on why they took $1.95 from my bank account and then without my knowledge or authorization took another $20 (which I assume was to cover the cost of the coupon they allowed me to apply) they held this money for a week. During that time I had no access to it. If I walked into their store and took $20 out of the register and said don't worry you will get it back they would call the police because I stole money from them. How is this different? They had no business taking more money than I had authorized for the sandals (again that the website allowed me to purchase using the coupon). I have no idea how this person thinks that it is a good business practice to steal from people and then blame them. I am disappointed that instead of at least acknowledging and apologizing  instead I am being blamed and made to feel like it is my fault. Bottom line, he is being dishonest because the coupon was listed and advertised (I am not sure about the exclusions, but it did go through at check out) and they took $20 from me and are not even acknowledging that.  Regards,[redacted] [redacted]

details of the complaint filed, [redacted] had placed an order on Roadunnersports.com.  At the time of submission of the order, [redacted] had the option to select or edit the delivery address before completing the order.  When Road Runner Sports received the order, the delivery address selected was the address where the package was mailed to.  [redacted] contacted Road Runner Sports to inform us that he did not receive the package, since it was delivered to an address that he no longer lives at.   At a cost incurred to Road Runner Sports, we attempted to re-route the package with the shipping vendor. This was unsuccessful since the package was already delivered.  Additionally, since the shipping partner accurately delivered the package to the address requested, a reimbursement could not be issued.  Normally, Road Runner Sports would be under no obligation to replace/refund the purchase, since the package was delivered to the address requested by the customer.    In an effort of good faith to resolve this customer’s complaint we have refunded the customer’s [redacted] account, as a one-time exception.  We are confident that this action satisfies the desired settlement requested of a refund or replacement.      Sincerely,     [redacted] Road Runner Sports

research of Mr. [redacted] original complaint, he stated that he had placed an order, which was cancelled due to the product being out of stock.  He then placed another order for an in stock item that Road Runner Sports gladly discounted by 28% off.  The original order that was cancelled authorized his PayPal account for 114.80, which was subsequently voided on 8/22/17.   We apologize to Mr. [redacted] for any inconvenience this may have caused, and hope that this action resolves the original complaint.   Sincerely, [redacted] Road Runner Sports

SALES ARE FINAL.  No returns or exchanges can be made.  The color listed on the website does not guarantee that will be the color the customer receives.  It merely provides an example of what the shoe looks like. It appears as though [redacted] made a few attempts to resolve the matter and her call was not returned.  We feel really bad about this and would like to make it right.  I would be more than happy to make an exception and allow her to return the shoe for a refund.  I have noted the account and will refund the shoe once we receive it back.
