Red Wolf was contracted by our home warranty company [redacted] They were contracted to replace the A/C unit, in which we paid $out of pocket for the installThey replaced the unit and left, and all seemed okThe next rain we had, water came pouring in through our kitchen causing damage to our drywall that cost an additional $to repairThey blamed [redacted] for not sending a roofer to finish the job, but we, and [redacted] both agree that it is the contractors job to either finish the job, or inform [redacted] that a roofer needs to come out to finish the jobWe as the consumer are left with not only the financial ramifications of their mistake, but also the time investment to get any sort of settlementThey tried pointing the finger at everyone but themselves, but leaving an unfinished job and not telling anyone is beyond unacceptable

Technician was very professional and courteousGot right down to business and answered any questions I hadAlso repaired my a/c unit quickly

We needed help with our AC unit and James P***, accompanied by Roman, arrived exactly as promised, assessed the problem, and made the repair in short order This is the second time we've used Red Wolf and it certainly will not be the last James is professional and quite knowledgeable He's training Roman who is well on his way to being a great tech I'd recommend Red Wolf to anyone who has AC or appliance repair needs James is the best

Excellent service with upfront pricing

I had a problem with my home air conditioning and my home warranty company scheduled Red Wolf Mechanical to do the job I called Red Wolf and they said they had me scheduled in the afternoon to do the work, but stated that they did not have a work order from my home warranty company yet and that I needed to call to have this remedied I informed Red Wolf that I had just spoken to the warranty company days before and that the warranty company supposedely had everything arranged For some reason this upset "James?" and he began raising his voice and getting upset I explained to James that raising his voice won't resolve his issue with the warranty company He said that he was trying to get his point across and then stated that I would need to find someone else to do the work and hung up the phone on me
I really don't think that I deserved to be treated that way and this has caused me a lot of problems now It's over degrees in the city and I am now trying to arrange for someone else to do the work on short notice I just wanted to voice my concerns over this very unprofessional behavior

I am not one to normally write reviews on companies per say, but I really wanted to share the very positive experience I had with Red Wolf MechanicalNot only did they fix our air conditioners immediately after arriving, but my husband & I also quickly spotted the good & honest people this little company consists of, people who truly care about their customers and who wants you to have a good experience with themOur interaction with Red Wolf Mechanical was both very professional & personal, how rare is that?! I highly recommend this company!!

EXTREMELY poor customer service and EXTREMELY unprofessionalRed Wolf was supposed to arrive at my home between 3-pmAt 5:pm I receive a call that the technician is running late as if they didn't know prior to that time that would be running lateI inform the technician/owner/whoever called that I need to leave at 7:pm to take my boy to his soccer game and no adult would be home after that timeThe person said ok so I assumed they understood the concept of must be done by 7:pmI receive another call at 6:pm stating they would be arriving at 7:pm at which time I reminded them that they needed to be finished and gone by 7:pm so arriving at 7:was futileSince I had nothing to do with their running late I asked him to come first thing in the morning since I had to leave and he said that was never going to happen and the soonest he could come back was days laterHe proceeded to tell me I had to choose between my kids soccer game and getting my AC fixed at which time I informed him that unlike his company when we say we are going to be somewhere and commit to something we actually do therefore I would not be bailing on my sons commitment to his teamI'm still in shock that a company could be so unprofessional and discourteousGood luck if you choose to use this company

I found this company to be knowledgeable, as well as fare priced There work was explained and done in a timely mannerI will definitely suggest this company to friends and family and if need be will work with them in the futureA job well done

Our AC unit stopped working on a Saturday evening Our home warranty company recommended Red Wolf Mechanical Their website states they are available 24/and provide emergency service It took two emails and two phone calls before we received a response from Red Wolf Mechanical Their phone service indicates they are only open Monday-Friday When the company did contact us, they indicated the earliest they could even look at our AC unit was Tuesday afternoon With the day temperatures being over degrees, waiting for three days is not reasonable or safe The attitude of the company member who responded to us was not compassionate or reasonable I would NOT recommend Red Wolf Mechanical for ANY service

I wish there was an option to put negative starsIt takes a lot of effort for me to get angry with a companyI tend to have good patients and understand more than most people when it comes to a business operationThis has been one of the WORST companies I have had to deal with**Long story short: My home warranty referred me to Red Wolf Mechanical for some ductworkI had a scheduled appointment on a Tuesday and received a call saying "we are just too busy today, is it ok if we come tomorrow"That is fine, I completely understandI agree to reschedule for WednesdayI had a very young inexperience kid come out that next day who had to keep calling his boss to get direction on how to fix the duct workHe ends up telling me I need to call the boss to figure out what is going onkinda oddI call and call and call and leave voice mails and call and call with no responseI wait hours and call and call and call back to many different numbersI get sick of waiting and end up calling the home warranty and wait on hold for hours for them to tell me the tech files a report stating we had "Design flaws"So the order was canceled and my issue is still not resolvedNo one could explain to me what "design flaws" we haveI call Red Wolf Mechanical AGAIN and I call and call and call and call and call and leave VM with NO responseI wait hours and then call back again and again and again until I final get ahold of the office manager who states she doesn't know what "design flaws are either"She said she will send the Service ManagerA few hours later he calls me and cancels because he is "just too busy today"I am do unbelievably upsetI call the office and yet again, no AnswerAt this very moment I still have not heard backCAUTION!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! There communication skills, professionalism and overall customer service has been one of the worst I have experiencedI have been in customer service for over years and this is just unacceptableIt takes a lot of effort for someone who look a company up, and write a review this longTrust, we and take my advice that they are not worth your time

Red Wolf diagnosed and fixed a problem with my AC unit during one of the hottest days in June - degrees They were responsive and professional

I got appropriate responses only out of times by phone
They wanted to charge $for, essentially, PVC pipe modification, which would be about minutes of work for me
$for furnace cleaning (this is about minutes with a shop vac)
$for out door condenser cleaning (this is rinsing with a garden hose, should be done yearly.)
$for Copper Modification, $for Sheet Metal Modification, I wasted a week with these people before they even got ready to try to fix my ACI'm glad it's not summer

Red Wolf Mechanical was assigned a service call on my faulty A/C unit by my Home Warranty CompanyI never would have picked this company if I had a choice in the matterI live in the extreme East Valley of Phoenix and their office is listed as being at least miles from my homeI opened the service call on a Saturday during an Extreme Heat Advisory warning weekAccording to the wording of my contract, Red Wolf had business days to call me to schedule my service appointment which they used the full amount of to contact meI finally received a call from them just before close of business on Tuesday (over hours from my initial call to my home warranty company)The individual on the phone said they couldn't come out until 3-6pm on Thursday (a full days from my initial call before even getting a tech out)
6pm on Thursday comes and goes without anyone from Red Wolf Mechanical showing upI finally receive a phone call about 6:50pm and the tech tells me that they are running behind, but still plan on coming outWell, that's great except I have a job and can't be thereThe tech comes out while I'm gone, pumps some freon in the unit, calls me at work and says, "I put freon in, it should be blowing cold, your unit is dirty and needs cleaned and serviced." Apparently my contract with the warranty company doesn't cover cleaning and maintenance of a unit, even if that was what might be causing your unit to stop workingI have had other calls in the past (from other companies, same home warranty) and they came out and did full diagnostics inside and out and also cleaned and maintained the unit in addition to fixing or replacing what was mechanically wrong with the unit
I am more upset with the home warranty company than at this business...but even that being said, it is clear that this company has taken on way more than it can appropriately handle during peak of summer / AC repair seasonNo website in 2016? Seriously? Clearly this is a small ma & pop operation that may be great for off-peak AC calls or other routine HVAC work, their reviews are all positive on the sites I checked them on...but I wouldn't hire or recommend them if you're in the middle of summer when AC outages and Valley heat are at their peak

I had different contractors come out through my home warranty with Red Wolf becoming the 5thThey had such amazing service and fixed this issue with my AC that no one else wouldI would recommend!

In the heat of the Phoenix summer my air conditioner stopped working Red Wolf tried everything to get it working without me having to buy a new one In the end I did purchase a new one and because of their good service I bought one from them The installers had an extremely difficult job because of the small size of my attic and were working in temperatures of degrees They did a great job and were very caring and my house was left clean

James was very helpful with my AC issue He and his wife explained things to me that was never explained by other AC companies I've used of what was happing and why He took the time to double check things even though I was his last stop They did a great job and I look forward to working with them again
