Hi, I would like to follow up on a complaint issued via Revdex.com regarding the Reimage PC repair.  We apologize for your inconvenience and were surprised to hear your claim.  Reimage has been in business selling thousands of license keys worldwide since 2007 and we have yet to hear a complaint like this.  That being said, we are willing to offer you $200 in compensation for the inconvenience.  Once accepted we can transfer the funds and resolve this issue.   Let me know how you would like to proceed. Hi [redacted],   I just received your complaint and would like to explain.   Reimage had a test trial with Plimus “Blue Snap” for a one month period with automatic renewals listed at the bottom of the purchase page.  This was quickly stopped last year due to...

negative feedback, it caused far more damage than good.    I apologize for this inconvenience and have already sent this to support requesting an immediate refund.  On top of that I would be happy to offer you 2 years of free support from our Tech Center or simply provide you with a couple annual license keys for your troubles.   If you have any other concerns please let me know,   Best Regards,   [redacted]

Do NOT purchase. This is a scam. Bought this product and the program would not load. When I called back they said it was my computer and they would have to transfer me to their "technical" department but it would be an extra $200. I said I wanted a refund and I was given a number that was never answered and by messages never returned.

Hi There,I would like to address this users complaint and hopefully establish some communication with the Revdex.com.The functionality of the Reimage Software uses the core technology of one of the most known and big anti-malware companies in the security software arena, which...

makes this complaint surprising.  We would like to emphasize that each end user is fully informed about the functionalities of the Software before its installation and any installation is conducted with the user's explicate consent and will. The operation and function of the Software are made upon end user license purchasing and the Software never repairs anything without obtaining the end user’s consent.  We would like to look into this matter further so we can identify what exactly happened during the "remote session".  If indeed there was a human error on our end, we can discuss compensation.  All of our phone calls are recorded for quality insurance.Please provide any additional information regarding the purchase and phone number that was called.  We will launch internal investigation early next week.Thanks,-[redacted]

Reimage itself was going...

through a transitional period
during the summer of 2014, a lot of bugs found in our system.  Since then
false positives have been drastically reduced ([redacted] office) and our
support staff strengthened.  We work closely with the leading Anti – Virus
companies and [redacted] to ensure we remain 100% compliant.

Do NOT purchase. This is a scam. Bought this product and the program would not load. Review: I bought their program it promised to clean my computer. It did! It cleaned out everything. I have no hard drives, I have nothing. I called and they told me I would have to have it repaired at my cost. Or I could talk to a tech for $79.00 Their program has trashed my computer! I talked to 4 different people, was on hold for a hour. They were rude and refused to holp, without charging me a fee. My computer was working fine until I ran their program. I even offered to send them the trashed computer if they would pay half for a new one. They hung up on me.Desired Settlement: If they will pay for half of a replacement (which would probably be the cheapest) or pay for total repair I would be happy.

Our software would not have damaged any of your personal data as the repair process only works with systems related files on your computer. Barring a hardware failure we will be able to assist you to resolve this issue no problem. I will ask you to please work with us to get to the bottom of the issue you have experienced to firstly troubleshoot and thereby discovering the root cause and then to problem solve. By doing this we will be able to make sure that if the issue ios related to our software we will be able to fix it and make sure that nobody ever experiences the same.I did search our CRM systems to try and check your correspondences with us for quality purposes but unfortunately did not find any using the email address: [redacted] and the phone number ###-###-#### that you provided. This would only mean that you did not deal with us directly and indicates that you would have dealt with an affiliate or 3rd party company that resells our software.I am including the Customer Service and Technical Support Team in this correspondence with you and will then personally follow it up to make sure that one of our upper tier technical support agents is made available exclusively to take charge and responsibility of your case. I most sincerely apologize for your experience and will endeavour to assist you in making sure we resolve this issue in the quickest time possible.

Review: On April **, 2014 I purchased the computer/repair package from Reimage.com. I use my computer for work and my browsers were continuously crashing and my computer was running slow. Their "free scan" came back with results saying there were viruses found on my computer and that I had to pay $70 in order for their program to find, fix, and delete the viruses. So, $70 and several hours later I was left with a computer WORSE than what I started with! Now there was adware in addition to my computer crashing. I couldn't visit any website without ads popping up everywhere. I contacted customer support about this and they suggested that I restore my windows to a previous date and that should fix all the issues. When this failed to fix the issue I contacted my own IT department during operating hours and they suggested me downloading malwarebytes, which has a FREE trial. This program successfully found the viruses/malware and deleted them in a matter of minutes. And now my computer runs great. I have asked Reimage on several occasions to honor their refund policy and they have since stopped communicating with me. The customer support team told me I had to email the company for a refund, which I did. Ten days later I received a response from Mads saying that their IT support can work with me to fix the problem- after I already explained that a different program had fixed it. I immediately responded and have yet to hear back from them or receive a refund. It has almost been a month. Their product was uninstalled immediately after it caused more problems and there are no remnants of it left, nor do I want any remnants left on my computer.Desired Settlement: I want a complete refund for the product.

Review: The company offers software that does not work, asks to remotely connect to computer to ad malware, and then refuses to respond to requests for refunds. They have sited their location as Israel but Americans are the ones answering the calls and offering additional computer repair services. This company should be shut down for complete fraud.Desired Settlement: I would like this company to refund the money they have taken from me.

Review: I was scammed by this computer support tech service. Their spam forced me to speak their help. After giving up and trying out their free analysis of my computers problems. They convinced me to purchase their service and a security service called Watchdog to secure my computer after they repaired it for around $499.00 dollars. Sixteen days later and many hours of my own time with their techs, my computer no longer works. I can no longer access the internet. I asked for my money back as they guarantee, and [redacted].would only give me back $200.00 of my original $499.00.Desired Settlement: Also I would like others to be warned. This company bombards your computer with spam until you almost forced to accept their service. The first name of the tech who sold me this false service was [redacted]. They say they can't give you their last names.
