Upon review of this complaint, we can find no evidence that a new tire was inside of this vehicle at the time of repossessionHowever, as a courtesy in good faith, we will honor the consumer’s request for a $refundThe refund check will be mailed to *** *** *** *** ** ***

[redacted] - President, Relentless8:12 PM Desired Settlement:I would like to have the tools back, if they are 7nable to locate them I would like them replaced. I want the tires checked on the xar as they are only a year old and driven on only in nice weather, I put snow tires on in the winter....

If they are damaged I would like them replaced. I would also like them to be responsible for any other problems caused by dragging the car. In addition I would like them to repair the marks left 8n my driveway.ResponseClaimant has an appointment to pick up a check and sign settlement release document on 12/14/15.

Attached are some pictures illustrating the damage to the bumper, causing paint cracking and misalignment, as well as the license plate bracket with the brass washer ripped out and mounting holes stretched and torn, as well as the single remaining washer that is supposed to be molded into the license plate mount. Other pictures have been taken, but do to upload limitation for this form, cannot be uploaded at present. The vehicle is also available for inspection by an agent of Relentless Recovery's choosing to verify the vehicle an damage in question.

Customer’s Statement of the Problem:Relentless Recovery repossessed my vehicle from my property. According to Ohio Law the company was to allow me to remove any personal belongings from my vehicle prior to repossession. The agent did not make any contact with anyone on the property prior to removing...

the vehicle. The agent claims to have repossessed the vehicle at 8:00 in the morning, The car was still in the driveway at 8:00 in the morning. There are discrepancies in the story being told. When contacting representative, it was claimed that the agent could have been in fear for life so did not have to make contact. There are now charging me a fee for the items that where in my vehicle claiming that it is a clean out and storage fee. This fee could have been avoided if I was allowed to remove personal belongings fistResponse: There is no Ohio law requiring a Repossessor to allow a debtor to clean out a vehicle prior to a repossession. If there are items in a vehicle we are required by our client to clean them out prior to the vehicle going to auction, store the items, and insure them. There is a $45 service fee charged for this. If the items are not cleaned out prior to the vehicle being delivered to the auction, the debtor cannot retrieve them.

Amy B[redacted] - President, Relentless12:58 PM to me We have had email correspondence with the complainant via email on 9/18, 10/12 & 10/26. The estimate was provided to us via a body shop after the vehicle had been transported from our facility by [redacted]s Towing on 8/10 and in the care and...

custody of [redacted] from 8/10 until it was redeemed by complainant sometime around 9/15/15. Throughout our investigation we attempted to follow the chain of custody of the vehicle and its condition throughout to see whom may be responsible for the alleged damage. It was not disclosed to us by complainant until 10/12 that the vehicle had been involved in an accident after complainant had redeemed it from the auction and that he was only seeking compensation for certain portions of the estimate sent to us. This has makes it difficult to investigate what damage was caused and by which different party, as the damage is not consistent with the wheel lift of our truck making contact with the tires in order to tow the vehicle, and the vehicle has been in the custody of [redacted]s Towing, [redacted], and involved in an accident prior to us receiving a complaint for portions of damage. On 10/26/15 the complainant specified that he was seeking $1696.65 and now we are in the process of re-investigating the chain of custody and the condition of the unit.

Here is the list again with the links I will do this for them since they obviously didn't click on the links that they asked me to supply with the list. The original list has the links this one does not. They're short $1,579.42. I attached the letter they sent along with a picture of the check. Once again everything I owned was in that vehicle. The list only consists of the things I remembered that were in the vehicle at the time I made said list. There was plenty more that could have been on it. I just want them to mail another check for the remaining $1,579.42 and then I will cash both the $500.00 and the $1,579.42. The 500 dont even come close to replacing what was in the vehicle let alone their employees putting their hands on my girlfriend. I would greatly appreciate a speedy response and the remainder sent over night.
Thanks
Shawn Ward
