Beware
Bought two remotes one didn't work after paying for programing. Horrible customer service!

Misprepresented defective product
March 11th, 2023

Their website said the key fob case would fit a 2009 Jeep grand Cherokee circuit board. It did not fit in 4 different ways. They also said it was defective and that I should pay the shipping back to them. I refused to pay as the problems were all theirs. Their product also damaged my circuit board and they would not provide a new one. I had to spend 170 dollars to replaced my circuit board.
Many, many emails. They want me to pay 10 dollars to return 8.95 product that was misrepresented and defective. I asked for a prepaid RA label but they refused.

Should have zero stars option
They have no concept of client or quality. If the remote is defective it is your fault, if the remote doesn't work on your car it is your fault. For every email you have a 24 hs delay. They want to make money on Occident but they won't have a technician in this part of the world. Everybody should keep as far as possible from these "people". Their products are just garbage.

Deceptive marketing/advertising
Website advertises original remote controls for different TV. Per their website advertising original remote for a Sony TV model RM-YD073 that looked exactly as the one I originally had with my TV. I ordered based on what was shown on website however, a few weeks later I received a different remote control not looking as advertised on website. After contacting them to made them aware of this issue, they came back stating exactly the following:

"Thank you so much for letting us know this happened. Normally there is
a link to the replacement online and also a notification is sent out
via email and additional paperwork is included in the package
explaining the situation. I am so sorry if this was NOT the case!
The manufacturer has discontinued your original remote and we have
sent you the factory part change. Often times; the manufacturer will
stop making a part due to age, technological changes and demand.
Because of this, your original remote has simply been phased out.
Would you like me to send you a pre-paid return label and issue you a
full refund?"

Notification by e-mail was never sent to me however explanation of being a replacement received with product. Plus they state that the original remote had been phased out.

Based on their explanation above, they are fully aware of the discontinued product yet not stated on your website. They should state very clearly on their website, not after the facts that it is a replacement. False marketing/advertising.

Crappy Customer Service
Called your customer service because your website advised there were no programming instructions for my remote, which I'm using on a 2015 Nissan Frontier. Your CS rep, Stacy, advised that I'd have to go to an auto locksmith to have the remote programmed. I searched Youtube How To videos and found numerous videos on how to program the remote. First one I tried worked. Pretty crappy "customer service". DRW Fernandina Beach, FL

Remotesremotes.com RIPPED ME OFF ! The (replacement) auto door lock remote I purchased from Remotesremotes.com for my Toyota Camry never correctly worked out of the box.The unit shipped to me was a refurbished Toyota original which would be fine if it worked correctlyAfter countless attempts to install the remote (directions provided by RemotesremotesCom) I eventually went to a professional locksmith who in turn showed me the inferior craftsmanship inflicted to the refurbished remote (including the GUM wrapper lodged inside the remote holding the battery down) After speaking once again to a Remotesremotes representative I was told to return the remote through the mail for a refundAfter waiting about a month (which was today) I called asking about the status of my returnAfter speaking to a few different representative's it seems that I was on the phone with a SupervisorThis lady was stern and unhelpfulShe kept belting out the or day return policyI stated that the remote never worked and I asked her to stand behind their productsAfter loosing connection with my phoneI tried to call back a few times during hours of operation only to get directed to a phone line which has a message that states " Thank You for contacting Remotesremotes.com no one is here to take your call" and then it hangs upI have never felt so BULLIED & ROBBED since I was ROBBED

Ordered and received two fobs for Oldsmobile Intrigue Could not program using their instructions Contacted company and was told to go to locksmith or dealerCalled dealerIt will cost me $for them to attempt to program with no guarantees

I am very disappointed with the key that I purchased from remotesremotes.com After an entire afternoon of running around and calling their tech support, it now works However, the transmitter has a range of a few inches - I have to be very close to the car to open or lock the doors, and even within a few inches, it does not work at some points around the carThe instructions sent with the key were wrong They apparently were for a keyless fob, which is not what I ordered And, nowhere on their website or in the instructions did it say that I had to go to a locksmith who had a special computer and software to program the keyThe first keymaker I went to was able to cut the key so that it turned the locks and ignition, but it would not start the car because it still needed to be programmed Their tech support explained this to me, and then I had to find a locksmith with the appropriate equipment and run out to their location in rush hour trafficNeedless to say, I won't recommend this company

Never received a package I ordered and was hung up on twice by customer service when I asked for the name of the person I was speaking toWorst customer service I have ever had

I ordered my remote for Silverado and just received it minutes ago I printed the programming instructions from their web site and went to the truck to program the remote to the truck It worked the first time I tried just like the instructions said to do I now have factory remote that came with the truck and the one from Remotesremotes.comIf their remote will last years like the factory remote they deserve thumbs up Time will only tell on that one For now I am very happy

Day warranty on the keyless remote It failed at days, so I'm out of luck Unfortunate that after the key was cut and programmed for $200, I'm out a remote that cost $+ $

ordered a couple valet keys, sent almost two weeks later, wrong key, contacted them, "I'm sorry do you want the actual key you ordered?, yes I do, about a week later, WRONG KEY AGAIN, contacted them, I'm sorry we are having problems with out system, please send keys back for a refund, called CC to cancel transaction.

Do not do business with them , google map shows a residential house, slow shipping, slow contact, bad service.

Ordered a secondary remote for my vehicle. Took it to an locksmith from their list form the website. No issues, keyfob programmed and key cut. Fob worked fine for a month, then it started setting my alarm off. Went to change the battery, and it came with the wrong battery...should've been 2025, it was 2032.
Put new battery in there and worked for a month are all of a sudden it stopped. New battery again and it started setting my alarm off. Reprogrammed the fob again and it worked fine for about an month and nothing. Remotes would not exchange it due to the 90 days warranty expired. Cheap remote would not recommend...

RIPOFF! DO NOT PURCHASE FOROM THEMI placed an order online for remotes and they took my money and I never received my key remotesI got the run-around for months and finally filed a fraud claim with my bank to get my money back

I purchased 2 key fobs for my nissan quest. it came on time and when I went to program it, the key fob worked for all the doors on my mini van both remotes. As of right now the review I have to give is excellent . I will come back in about two weeks to give an update or sooner if for some reason it doesn't work.

I ordered a replacement remote shell for my 1998 Toyota 4Runner on 12/19/2018. RemotesRemotes.com website shows that the item was shipped 12/20/2018 via DHL. The tracking number they gave me is for USPS which when I look up the tracking number it states USPS has never received the package. Keep in mind I choose Standard Shipping which is 5 - 7 busines days and the this time frame includes Christmas and New Years so I allowed some extra time. On 01/06/2019 I sent them a email asking when I should expect to receive the item I had purchased. The email included the information that USPS had never received the item from DHL. Their response was prompt but asked me to wait another 5 working days and if I had not gotten the item to contact them again. So I waited even longer. In fact 10 days longer. I sent another email on 01/16/2019 stating I still wanted the remote but thought it would not be to much to ask for a different shipping method at their expense. Their response this time was "Thank you for reaching out to us. The tracking number shows that the package is EN ROUTE. We seem to be having an issue shipping courier and we'll contact them to get an updated tracking status. Also, we can only send a replacement using standard shipping. It'll take 5-7 business days to be delivered. We'll contact you once we have an update." on 01/16/2019. Now today 01/18/2019 I get a email from them stating "Upon checking, we dispatched your item on the date we originally notified you. The courier services we use are extremely reliable and rarely fail to deliver our orders. However, we will look into this issue for you and based off the outcome would you like a refund processed if it comes to that? Please let us know. Thank you for your time & patience with this matter."

Question 1: Why didn't they do this the first time I emailed them?
Question 2: What do they mean by saying a refund if it comes to that?
Question 3: Why would you only offer Standard Shipping on replacement items? What if I had paid for 2 -3 day shipping and didn't receive the item. Do I then have to wait 5 - 7 business days for them to send a replacement.

My recommendation is do not do any business with this company. I feel that I am out the money I paid for the remote and will have to pay for another remote from another provider just to get one.

CORRECTION - VEHICLE is a 2004 LEXUS RX 330
DO NOT ORDER FROM REMOTESREMOTES.COM
Would not recommend! I ordered a key for a 2004 Lexus RX 330. when it arrived I took to a local locksmith to have it cut. Tried the programming that the site - RemotesRemotes.com has listed. I could get the door locks to work but would not start the vehicle. Even took it back to the professional locksmith and they tried with the device they hook up to the car thru the port and they still couldn't get it to work either. I figured the key was defective and was past the 90 days to return it for a credit. So ordered another key figuring that one would work and would return the 1st one as defective. When I receiived the 2nd key - same story. Would program the door locks but still no success with that key to start the vehicle either. Tried talking with Tech services but they weren't much help. I finally took to another profession locksmith and they do auto starts as well. I thought that maybe the auto start was interfering with the programming of the new key. After they worked with the key and tried also, they informed me that both keys that were sent to work with a 2004 Lexus RX 330 had the wrong chip in those keys. RemoteRemotes.com sent a key with a 4C chip and the vehicle needs a 4D68 chip. After purchasing the correct key with that place and having them doing the programming it was another $100 dollars and I have 2 cut keys at $10 each to cut and they are worthless. I was able to return one for a refund after a $3.50 postage charge also. I did notify Tech services about the wrong chip and they just said to return for a credit! Buyer beware - if they don't send the correct key with the correct chip - it is worthless and you have extra expense and frustration. Would have been a lot cheaper to buy local and have done right the first time.

+1

I needed a new remote control for my smart Samsung TV. I tried a couple of universal remotes from Target but they lacked the capacity to operate my apps correctly and seemed "confused" that I do not have a set-to box (a lot of searching for a signal that didn't exist.) Then I ordered a replacement from RemotesRemotes and it arrived within days and works like a charm. I paid less than $10 ibcluding shipping and Best Buy wanted $35 (I bought the TV just 7 months ago from BB and they don't care that the remote died.)

This is the absolute worst company to get any type of key from. I've used them twice and both times they never even sent the key. I'm a locksmith and both times I ordered keys from this company I lost customers and looked very bad. I still don't understand how there are companies like this on the internet who advertise and can't even follow through with what you order. Please please please don't ever order a key from this company.
