Ordered a remote for Lexus, received the remote as promised and took it to one of their recommended locksmiths because the key needed a diagnostic programer and computer. After several attempts the locksmith could not program the key. We tried calling remotes customer service only to be placed on forever hold and eventually asked to leave a messages (that hasn't been returned). Eventually the locksmith concluded after programming a valet key he had in stock that the remote key from remotesremotes.com had the wrong program chip. Thanks to the locksmith he is ordered the correct program chip for that car/model. Don't forget, if you need a locksmith to diagnostically program your key you are looking at an additional $70-$90 dollars and they will not guarantee they can program the key, so you could be out a lot of dollars and frustration.
I have only used remotes remotes once and my first experience wasn't the best.

I ordered two 4 button remote keys for a 2005 Chrysler 300 on June 17 2017, I received two 2 button remote keys with no receipt or invoice in package too know how exchange it so called customer service. I was told my receipt had been emailed to me, l never found that. Red flag went up. I was finally mailed instructions on how to return the items. I returned a copy of the instructions and merchandise in a padded envelope with a tracking number. After several weeks of not receiving new keys. I called customer service, after holding for several minutes I was told to leave a message for a call back, that never happened. After numerous unanswered calls, I started emails no response. Until this date I've not had a call, message, refund or merchandise from the company, this is theft. Beware buyer not a reputable company. I will be filing a report

If I could give them less than one star I would. They have horrible customer service. I ordered a specific part number which I did not receive. It clearly has a different part number on the package they sent. I have been going back & forth with emails for 5 days now & they keep giving me the run around with crap that has nothing to do with the issue. The key fob does not work and I just want to send it back & get a refund. I have tried calling numerous times only to wait on hold and then get a message saying leave a message after 10 minutes. These are incompetent baffoons and should not be in business HUGE REGRET USING THEM! Will be filing a complaint with the Revdex.com. I am fuming and then after all of the emails where I gave the explicit & exact info they ask well can you please send a picture which I did that clearly has the wrong part number on it and am still waiting to hear back. Hope they get shut down!

Total ripoff. Absolutely incompetent company that has no idea what they are doing. Don't understand the products they sell or how to resolve issues. I should have read the reviews on this place before purchasing. Learn from my mistake and countless other victims...stay away

Bought a remote that did not function. I called them & they said take to one of their recommended locksmiths. I did - it did not work. So I emailed them 2x - no response. So I called them. They asked for all kinds of information but did not wish to give any kind of refund. Yes they are cheap. But if you spend money on nothing, all of a sudden that remote that costs $20 more is looks like a much better deal.

DO NOT USE remotesremotes.com. Not only did my package arrive late after paying $25 for expedited shipping, but they only sent me the key portion, and not the fobs. When I alerted them to this, they tried to tell me they could only ship the correct key via standard shipping. After telling them that was unacceptable because it wasn't my fault they messed up the order, they did send replacements via expedited shipping but they didn't even work. The dealership tried to program them 3 times. Since they were cut, I now cannot return them. HUGE waste of money and time.

Worst online business I have ever dealt with. The remote fob case I ordered supposedly to fit my vehicle was not a match. I followed their directions and returned the case back. My mistake was not to send it certified mail to ensure it was received. Been almost two months. No communication, no refund, nothing. I'm out all of 8 bucks but I'll make enough noise to make sure no one else gets ripped off. If you have a return send it certified return receipt or they will claim they never got it. Don't expect any communication via e-mail. I'm not going to waste my breath on the phone with crooks like this. Chalk it up to a lesson learned for under a tenner.

Review: Returned a remote for a 2004 [redacted] that did not work. Confirmed by email that they would accept the remote for a refund without an RMA# to their address. Sent the remote by mail in a padded envelope back in July and have been communicating by email ever since as they state they had not received it. I enclosed a copy of my order form with the remote but they keep emailing that they had not received it.Desired Settlement: Requesting a refund to my credit card.

I ordered my remote for 2004 Silverado and just received it 30 minutes ago. I printed the programming instructions from their web site and went to the truck to program the remote to the truck. It worked the first time I tried just like the instructions said to do. I now have 1 factory remote that came with the truck and the one from Remotesremotes.com.
If their remote will last 11 years like the factory remote they deserve 2 thumbs up. Time will only tell on that one. For now I am very happy.

the remotes was delivered on time worked for 1 month and was replaced by another one which failed to work again after 1 month. remotesremotes refused to refund me my money pretending that the 60 days period for refund has been reached. while I returned it 10 days later(70). two of their representatives assured me that the refund has been processed but it was not when I called again the 3rd one kept saying we cannot refund your money.

I just bought one to replace the original on my Cadillac EXT. It is considerably smaller than the original which is a plus. Shipping was fast and programing was easy. Hopefully it will last a long time.

The (replacement) auto door lock remote I purchased from Remotesremotes.com for my Toyota Camry never correctly worked out of the box.The unit shipped to me was a refurbished Toyota original which would be fine if it worked correctly. After countless attempts to install the remote (directions provided by Remotesremotes. Com) I eventually went to a professional locksmith who in turn showed me the inferior craftsmanship inflicted to the refurbished remote (including the GUM wrapper lodged inside the remote holding the battery down) After speaking once again to a Remotesremotes representative I was told to return the remote through the mail for a refund.
After waiting about a month (which was today) I called asking about the status of my return. After speaking to a few different representative's it seems that I was on the phone with a Supervisor. This lady was stern and unhelpful. She kept belting out the 20 or 30 day return policy. I stated that the remote never worked and I asked her to stand behind their products. After loosing connection with my phone. I tried to call back a few times during hours of operation only to get directed to a phone line which has a message that states " Thank You for contacting Remotesremotes.com no one is here to take your call" and then it hangs up.
I have never felt so BULLIED & ROBBED since I was ROBBED.

Never received a package I ordered and was hung up on twice by customer service when I asked for the name of the person I was speaking to. Worst customer service I have ever had.

I am very disappointed with the key that I purchased from remotesremotes.com. After an entire afternoon of running around and calling their tech support, it now works. However, the transmitter has a range of a few inches - I have to be very close to the car to open or lock the doors, and even within a few inches, it does not work at some points around the car.
The instructions sent with the key were wrong. They apparently were for a keyless fob, which is not what I ordered. And, nowhere on their website or in the instructions did it say that I had to go to a locksmith who had a special computer and software to program the key.
The first keymaker I went to was able to cut the key so that it turned the locks and ignition, but it would not start the car because it still needed to be programmed. Their tech support explained this to me, and then I had to find a locksmith with the appropriate equipment and run out to their location in rush hour traffic.
Needless to say, I won't recommend this company.

I ordered a set of 2 key fob remotes for my truck. When I got them I went to a dealership to have them programmed, and they could not be programmed. The dealer tried 3 times and verified the problem was not my vehicle. I emailed their support site and was sent another set of remotes. That set couldnt be programmed either. Remotesremotes refunded the purchase price, but told me that they werent responsible for my financial loss for dealer programming which wasnt cheap.
