However, in an effort to resolve the issue, we will be issuing a refund on all the charges that incurred after their trial period had expired in a total amount of $368.08. This amount should reflect in their bank statement within 7 business days.?Please feel free to let us know if you should have any questions.??Sincerely,RenuvaDerm Skin CareCustomer [email protected]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

Regards,

Review: I ordered two products from Renuvaderm. One charged at $4.95 and the other at $5.95. I read the ad and it advertised a special price to try the product. Then I was charged again for these same products at $89.97 and $94.57 respectively. They cancelled my "membership" of which I had no knowledge and offered a 50% refund of these amounts. But they will not accept the products back as was advertised. And they say there is a 14 day period in which I was supposed to return the products for a refund and cancel said "Membership" . I would never spend this amount on a cosmetic. The first charge is all I agreed to pay. And I am allergic to the products so can not use them anyway.Desired Settlement: I want them to not be allowed to deduct money from my bank account again for charges I know nothing about. And I would like to return the products for a full refund. Also I would like for them to stop all false/misleading advertisement so others can be spared such a huge financial loss.

Consumer

Response:

Hello, After I sent in the complaint because of Renuvaderm's refusal to accept the return of the product, I received an email this morning in which they say they are going to refund the total amount. (Minus restocking fee) (whatever that is). The restocking fee is not listed anywhere. I would like to keep the complaint so that anyone else who gets taken in by their scam will also get their money refunded. Their online add does not mention a fourteen day period of time before you are charged a second amount for the product. There was no mention of this secondary charge anyplace on the add that I saw. I just want them to list those charges up front so that the consumer will not be taken in by "sale" prices and think it is a good deal. Thank you so much for your speedy reply! [redacted]

Hi, I received a full refund from Renuvaderm/Rejuvaderm. thank you so much for your help! [redacted]

Review: Placed an online order with RenuvaDerm.com and continue to receive product monthly. Called to clarify and close my account and they would not confirm. Continued to ask about signing up for other promotions they were running. Called on two separate occasions and received the same customer service. I want to cancel my online account with this company and they refused. They currently have a American Express credit card number which concerns me deeply.Desired Settlement: I would like RenuvaDerm to close out my account completely in writing. And I would appreciate it if the Revdex.com would investigate them as a legitimate business.

Review: First I bought a product for the price of shipping alone, then I added another product, again for the price of shipping.....ALONE. Next thing I'm billed $80 plus bucks. I call and spend over 1/2 hour going all around (they are really aggressive blaming this entire issue/incident on me, the consumer. Many people would have backed down to their demands by now) telling them to delete my account and that I do not want the product....period. They said I could get a refund for the product (that I was not supposed to be charged for to begin with), but not the shipping charges that I had paid. OK, I said that I would live with that. Then they said that I had to arrange for and pay for return shipping. I said that that was not acceptable and that they needed to pay for return shipping since I had already paid two separate shipping charges. The conversation ended after she rattled out some Return authorization info that I did not copy down and I asked to be sent via email a prepaid label for shipping and that I would arrange for the return. She said they had now way to issue prepaid returns... (any/most businesses of any size can do this), so I figured she was still in "it's the customers fault" mode. End of call.

Next thing. they never deleted my account and they have shipped me two times since then. I'm contacting my credit card company today to have the charges contested.

To sum it up, they falsely tell you that get a free sample and ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS PAY THE SHIPPING?HANDLING.Then you get a bill for the full MSRP on the product, you try to cancel the account and they still keep shipping and billing you $80 plus dollars a month for a little jar of cream and they expect you to jump through their hoops (shipping and handling charges) getting the non-authorized product that you receive back to them.

Politely, after a few cleansing breaths, They get a 10 when it comes to customer NO-Service. Avoid this business altogether and you will be a happier person.Desired Settlement: REfund all/entire monies charged to me, including all of the shipping charges as I have not even opened any one of the products. At the same time email me a prepaid shipping label for home pickup and I will set it outside my door for my USPS, FedEx or UPS person to pick up.

Review: Company Advertises a 30 day supply of skin and eye cream for shipping and handling costs of 5.95 and 4.95. Before the product has even shipped they start charging your account for $84 and $95 every two weeks starting a week after the original order. Product is tiny sample, but according to operator this is the full size and is a subscription. Within 30 days and only one shipment of the original trial product for shipping and handling only, they had deducted almost $300 from my bank account. I spoke with three operators before a cancellation and full refund was agreed to and one operator hung up on me. Please investigate this fully as I am sure they are taking hundreds of thousands of dollars from many other bank accounts.Desired Settlement: I would like to make sure that no one else is subject to such crooked practices and scammed out of so much money. Please shut this business down asap.

Review: I had purchased a trial size of RenuvaDerm for $4.95 and $5.95, a skin cream and an eye cream. Much to my surprise, I was sent another trial size in the mail. I was so upset after I called the Company and it was explained to me that I was charged the initial $4.95 & $5.95, and also charged $170.00+ for the original bottles and $170.00+ for the second shipment. From my understanding, I was being charged the original $4.95 and $5.95. That's it. I cannot afford these products, and it has been charged to my credit card for all of it already. They have told me I could get a refund on the second shipment but they could not do anything about the first shipment ... That another $170.00+ was to be charged to my credit card. I cannot afford any of this. I have monthly bills that will bounce now due to this mess. I am sick over this. I am a single Mother trying to make ends meet. I never splurge on anything for myself, because I do not have the extra money. I need your help please!!Desired Settlement: I do not mind paying the $4.95 and $5.95. I am asking for a refund for the charges of $170.00 and the second charge of $170.00. This whole ad online is totally misleading. I am so sickened by the fact they cannot help me with any of this. I have asked for their corporate number, they told me they could not give that out. I have a daughter that is being deployed in April, and due to this mess I will not be able to purchase plane fare to see her before she goes, not to mention some of my bills (gas and electric, homeowners fees, insurance) are not going to be paid for this month due to the money that this company has billed my credit card. I work hard and barely make ends meet and would never be able to spend money in this manner.

Review: I ordered skin care products that were advertised on TV by [redacted]. I was for a 14 day trial supply and I only had to pay the postage. On Feb. 4, I received the eye cream and on Feb 6, I received the face cream On Feb.2,2015 they billed my bank credit card for the amount of the postage which was $ 5.95 and $4.95 as it was in 2 different containers. On Feb. 6 the company put 2 charge't s on my credit card for $94.57 and $89.47. I disputed the charges with the bank and called the company. They stated that they had sent me a years supply of the product and when I told the representative that I did not order a years supply and that I only ordered a 14 day supply which is what I thought I received since the bottles only contained 5 mls of product. The rep.( [redacted]) toled me that since I had filed a complaint with the bank, he could not help me. I explained that I only receive social security, that I could not afford $184. for skin care products. He said that there wasn;t any thing he could do and accused me of threatening him when I told him that I would file other complaints about the company and he hung up on me. I consulted [redacted] bank and they told me to send the product back to the company and request a signature confirmation that they received the product. I called the 800 number for the company and requested an address which they refused to give me so I looked it up on line and found that there had been many complaints filled against this company for unfair business practices and billing. The company sent me an e mail stating there would be no further charges but they didn't take the charges of $94.57 and $89.47 off my credit cardDesired Settlement: I would like them to take the charges off my credit card .

Review: This company offers a free trial of its skin products on a link through facebook. I made the mistake of not checking all the negative reviews about this company and its scamming practices. There was to be a small s/h charge for the products, $10.90 total- there was no mention of any other charges or future charges on the site. I gave them my credit card info, the s/h charges appeared, the items were delivered. Within 14 days they charged my credit card full price for the items to the tune of 184.04 I was lead to believe that this was a free trial of their products and if I wanted more then it would be full price. I have called them to ask for a refund and I would send the products back, they said NO, No refund and no returns of the products. This company makes it a habit of doing this to people, they should be stoppedDesired Settlement: I want these people to be stopped, they have ripped off so many women with this so called free trial of their products. How can these businesses be allowed to continue to do this? I want them to refund my money to my credit card.

Review: I bought this product online for a trial period, of course the claim was for spectacular results. What I got instead was a rash on my neck that lasted for over a week after I stopped using the product.I called way before the end of the trial period which was on July 29 to cancel any future shipments. I thought that was the end of it. I asked the girl on the phone, who spoke with a terrible accent, if it was clear that I didn't want to receive any more of the product, she said yes. However, she insisted I should call back. As it turns out I have received another shipment and I was charged $92 for a product I don't plan on using ever again. When I called customer service they told me the service contract doesn't allow returns. I never got any service agreement! The customer service person by the name of Alex Garcia insisted that I used the product incorrectly and tried for me to agree to try it again with the promise I would get a 55% discount. Another trick to keep me in the automatic mailing. I refused and they charged the full amount. But I received an email confirmation of cancelation. This company uses false advertising and shady and unclear methods of advertising. I would like to have some retribution for the money they wrongly kept from my second shipment. Thank you.Desired Settlement: I would like my money back!

Review: Renuvaderm advertised their product as a trial product that would only cost shipping and handling. The product arrived with no information, only the product. My bank account was then charged $94.57 a few weeks later. When I called the company, the representative told me that the charge was for the product and had I returned it within a certain time period, I would not have been charged. She went on to also say that when I placed my order, I signed up for an automatic ordering system that would continue to ship products to me. There was NEVER any information available to me that stated any of these terms. They would not let me return the product event hough it had not been used. They are misleading customers in having them think that they are paying a nominal fee for a trial product when in fact they are setting up an automatic reorder and charging my credit card.Desired Settlement: Refund my account for $94.57, the amount that I was charged for their misleading advertising and business practices.

Review: I ordered the reNuvaderm skin cream and the eye cream on March 4, 2015, on a 14 day trial basis, paying only shopping and handling with the option to order @the end of the trial period. I was contacted by the Fraud Alert Department of my credit union on March 18, 2015 stating that this company was attempting to collect $94.57 for one cream, and $89.47 for the other cream, and did I authorize these transactions, I stated that I had not authorized these transactions. I then called the company and asked why they were attempting to make those transactions, after discussing my dissatisfaction with the products (my skin was burning and red), I cancelled, and offered to returned the unused portion of the products. They cancelled and sent me a cancellation e-mail.Today (April 6, 2015) I checked my bank statement only to find that they still charged me despite me calling and canceling. I phoned again and spoke with a representative ([redacted]) who told me that I had not cancelled in time, I stated that I cancelled on day 14 of the 14-day trial, she stated that I should have cancelled the day before. I then stated that that would make it a 13 day trial period and asked to speak with a manager, she informed me that there wasn't a manager there and she was the highest ranking associate available and she would refund only half of each purchase. I told her I needed the full amount that was taken from my account and that was false advertisement, she maintained her stance so I ended the conversation.Desired Settlement: Full refund 184.04

Review: I was shopping on Amazon & their advertisement came on the screen & what they said was very enticing So I ordered the trial products & 14 days from the day I placed my order the next shipments came. I was out of the country due to family emergency and was away for 7 weeks. By the time I returned I have been sent 8 products that totalled $727.96 billed to 2 credit cards. When I called the company, they were very rude and said that no returns are accepted.I was told that automatic shipments are sent if they don't here from me I am retired and cannot afford these very expensive products. I believe that this is a scam and this company should be banned. I suggest that terms like this should be in bold print and there should be at least 1 month from the time the customer receives and tries the product to the time that they ship more. and they should advertise the prices of their products. At almost $90.00 per item, it's like paying for gold. Please stop this company from scamming the public. Thank you very much.Desired Settlement: That they will accept the returns and refund my money. Consumers have a right to fair business practices.

Review: I ordered a FREE TRIAL of Renuvaderm Skin Serum & Eye Cream off the internet paying S&H. My credit card was charged the full amount of $184.04 before I received the FREE TRIAL. I called to complain and was told they charge 14 days after the order is placed. I received the product 22 days after the order was placed. There is nothing in the advertisement that after 14 days your account will be billed the full amount nor does it mention what the full amount is. After several phone calls and some hang ups, I was given a partial refund of 35%. I am not satisfied with the product nor the service and how they conduct business. A FREE TRIAL after all is a period of time for the consumer to try the product and again I did not receive the product until after they had already deducted the amount from my credit card.Desired Settlement: I want a refund in the amount of $119.64 for the products and my account closed/cancelled/no longer interested! I am not satisfied with the product nor the unethical process of handling online orders.

Review: This company was advertising a 14-day free trail to test out one of its products. All I had to do was pay the shipping and handling of the first product; which I did. I was charged $4.95, but did not receive the product until 10 days later. This only gave me 4 days to try out the product. I immediately started calling from my cell phone, which was the number I provided when I ordered from them. I was trying to reach the costumer care # to cancel the product, but was never able to reach a person. Shortly after I was charged $94.57, which is the full charge for one product; however, I never received a package for that charge. I continue calling the costumer line using my cellphone to no avail. Then, 15 days after the $94.57 charge, I was charged another $94.57 again. I called them once again from my phone but was still unsuccessful. After waiting for a package to arrive and continously calling them, I decided to call them using a different phone. This time, I was finally able to reach a representative by the name of Iris. After 39 minutes of requesting a full refund and arguing back and forth with her, all I was able to accomplish was to get her to cancel the "subscription", and a promise of 80% of refund of the second charge upon receipt of returned package. This is still pending.Desired Settlement: I need to receive a FULL refund for both of the $94.57 charges, and would like for this company to be forbidden from continuing their business. They lie, and trick people into buying from them. Since my dealings with them, I have found numerous other complaints and reviews of this caliber by people dealing with the same issue.

Review: The company advertised free sample of face cream only charging for shipping. 2 weeks later $200 was deducted from my bank account without authorization. I called to return the product within the specified time the company asked for and they still would not return my money. My bank has filed a dispute, I canceled the order, and again re invader deducted another $200 from my account. The bank had to close my account so no more money was deducted. Greetings,

The tems of our offer are clearly disclosed at Renuvadermskin.com The customer agrees to the terms of the trial

offer by selecting the check box and entering their payment info. We offer a 14 day trial with the option to

cancel anytime during that period to avoid membership enrollment/ charges.

However, we would refund this charge to resolve this complaint but customer has stated they have filed a dispute with the bank. At that point, the bank withdrrwals the funds from us . In addition, the charges only incurred one time for each product ordered and on future billings have been cancelled. Unfortunately we will have to deal with the bank from this point on as the customer has involved them in the dispute process.

Thanks,

Customer Relations.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

[The bank simply called on my behalf to get a refund as the scam of renuvaderm said they needed to deal with my bank. I returned the product within the 30 days and still have not received a refund. It states in the terms of the trial if you return the product within 30 days even if the product is used the customer will get a full refund. I returned the product within 10 days of receiving the face cream and called for a refund. I was refused a refund and that is when the bank called on my behalf. Renuvaderm is not following the terms and conditions of their advertisement and when customer service was confronted by my bank with their terms and conditions renuvaderm hung up on the Banker. They tried to deduct more money from my account even after I canceled. All of the above has been documented with my Bank. Renuvaderm is a scam. I work in the media industry and know a lot of influential people. I will give renuvaderm 7 days from February 7 to send a refund check in the amount $184.04. If my refund is not received I will use my connections and nationally go public with this scam. I do not want this to happen to other innocent people.

customer called in with bank

Review: I was responding to an internet ad regarding a face and eye cream - it offered special trial samples at a reduced price (charged on my credit card) which I did receive however they started charging to my credit card amounts of $94.57 and $89.47 for each cream (facial and eye). I called them and told them I did not want these and demanded a refund. They informed me that I had consented online for this which committed me to monthly shipments and charges. I never was informed that I was committing to monthly deliveries and automatic charges. They claimed that there was a 30 day trial and if I hadn't called them within the 30 days then the monthly products would be delivered and I would be charged. First of all if that were true then why did they charge my card for the trial on 11/09/14 (before my receiving the product) then charged me again on 11/23/2014 (14 days later) and a 3rd charge on 12/17/2014 (21 days after the last one) for the same 2 charges (that's 3 times the $94.57 plus $89.47or $180.04 for these useless creams). I checked their website and they don't have anything that even looks the same, sounds the same nor is it at the inordinate prices they charged. When I spoke to them they claimed they had sent a 4th shipment and charged me again. I have only received 2 sets of these and they want me to send the 4th shipment back to them but with a tracking number and other codes, if I want a refund on the last shipment only. They said they had attorneys who drew up the contracts for these and that there was no way to get back my money.Desired Settlement: Refund the 3 shipments $180.04 - I will return any of their products that I receive. But this is fraud. The listed phone number on the credit card said Renuvadermskin net and the listed phone number is [redacted] which is located in Nevada but they gave me a return address of Santa Ana, CA
