I ordered and paid in full for a portable hammock from the Republic of Durable Goods (RODG) on June 28, 2020 at https://republicofdurablegoods.com. The company noted it would take 3-5 days to ship from the warehouse. I still have not received the product. It is now Sept 27, 2020. Republic of Durable Goods followed-up on the order with an email on July 10, 2020 notifying me that there are warehousing issues with a couple of bad actors, Alpha Mart Holdings LLC and Cocam International Enterprises. I sent an email inquiring into the delayed order on July 26. RODG responded with auto-replies. One of the canned responses shared the following: "There are two companies Alpha Mart Holdings (Alphamarts.com) and Cocam International Enterprises Ltd (Cocamusa.com) are willfully holding the shipment of products you paid for. They are major owners in Republic of Durable Goods. We recommend you reporting both these companies to the Federal Trade Commission and the Revdex.com with the details of your experience." I reported both businesses. I have not heard anything further from RODG. On Aug 19, I reached out again via their Facebook page. An automated notification was sent letting me know they would respond in 2-3 days. I received nothing. I sent another complaint on Aug 26. They have been completely unresponsive and "radio silent". They do not provide a phone number on their website or any of their other social media presences, so I'm not even able to speak to a real person. They continue to advertise and take orders for the hammocks, though customer complaints are mounting and no one is receiving products or responses. It is now September 27th. I really want the product but I think it is foolish to continue to wait. Another customer found a number. I called and got a voice mail. I am left with no choice but to file a claim with PayPal for a refund and to file a complaint with the Revdex.com and the Federal Trade Commission.

I see that numerous people have complained about the same issue I have, but would like to add my name to the complaints.
I purchased items in the amount of $177+ in May of 2020 and have not received them. I've contacted the company via email and phone, but no one responds.
I would appreciate the Revdex.com to look in to this company.
I don't know what other recourse I can take.

Similar to the others here, I placed an order in May. After six weeks the product was not delivered. I reached out to customer service who said they were having issues with their warehouse. They asked if I wanted a refund and I should have said yes. Instead I said no because they said it would be another 4-6 weeks until delivery and I was really excited about the product. 8 weeks came and went, I have emailed them several time since then and have not gotten any response besides the automated "We received your email and will get back to you." I am beyond disappointed. I am not able to get a refund because of the way I paid for the product. The merchant has to cancel the order first in order for me to get a refund. I will be writing to Minnesota's attorney general as suggested. I realize the issues this company is having are likely beyond their control but this is no way to treat your customers.

I purchased an item off their website on June 10, 2020 for $144.94 with delivery in 3-10 days. My credit card was charged in the amount of $144.94 on June 11, 2020. I never received my item. I contacted the business via email on August 8, August 23, September 1 and September 15. I also contacted them via their website. First I requested an order update, then just a response or communication, then a refund. They've never responded.

I ordered a portable hammock from Republic of Durable Goods on June 5 2020.(#6382) I paid $169 for the hammock and accessories. I was promised delivery in late June due to a stocking issue. In July - August and now September I asked for an update and more recently a refund. I have no reply and they have my money. This was a gift for my daughter's graduation. It is a huge disappointment and now without any response I fear the money is lost forever. they said in various emails I could contact them and get my money back. I get no response after several attempts. I want my money or my hammock but there is NO WAY to reliably contact the company at this point and would appreciate any help in getting some correspondence and response to my requests

Same as everybody else - ordered on June 7th, credit card charged. Initially told 2-3 week delivery, then delay while setting up new warehouse, then crickets for the past 6 weeks. Next step will be calling Visa to try to get the charge reversed.

Ordered in May. Company won't reply - won't cancel order. No updates in months. My feelings echo the other reviews completely.

I placed an order with the Republic of Durable Goods on May 19, 2020 (Order SP-#5086) and my credit card was charged the purchase price of $224.95 on that day. To date I have not received the hammock and accessories I ordered and my emails, Facebook messages and Tweets to the company over the past month have not been answered.

I ordered a compact hammock from this company and was charged 143.97 on my credit card. Order was placed 6/2/20, order SP-#6067. I still haven’t received it. The first time I inquired they told me they were having problems with their supplier and there was a delay. The second time I inquired I never got a response.

I ordered multiple items on June 16, 2020. My credit card was charged in full on same day as the order, June 16th. I inquired several times in July about shipping status, and kept getting excuses. In August it became clear nothing was going to be shipped and I began requesting a full refund. I emailed several times requesting the refund. No responses and no refund were ever received. Opened a dispute with my credit card company to get my money returned to me. Shameful practices by this company.

We ordered a Father's Day gift way back in June and have sent numerous emails, social media messages trying to get a ship date with no response. They charged our card, took our money but never sent the item to it's recipient. This is the worst way to do business.

My story is similar to other stories shared on Revdex.com. Republic of Durable Goods have failed to deliver 2 Mock One hammocks ordered online on 6/17/2020. I have made several weekly attempts to inquire about the status of my order with customer (lack of service) and have not heard from anyone. I will be making a formal complaint to the Minnesota Attorney General, Keith Ellison on what appears to be a fraudulent company. I ordered a Mock One folding hammock on 5/15/20 and have not received it to date despite being charged $134.99 at the time of purchase. I have made numerous attempts to reach customer service who would respond with a detailed explanation and apology for the delay. Over the past month, I have attempted to reach them and receive no response. I am now requesting a refund but can't speak to a live customer representative. The e-mailed and messenger responses appear to be an automatic generic reply that they will get back to me in 2-3 business days. But they never do!

I placed an order on 6/15/20 for one MockONE Compact Portable Folding Hammock with Stand. The order was processed through PayPal for $134.99. Order number is #7463. I have yet to receive the product. On 8/27/20 I emailed Customer Support and received an auto response stating that the company would "get back to me in 2-3 business days. Today is 9/9/20 and I have received neither response nor product.

Ordered product in June. Have never received it. Cannot get anyone to respond to my messages or phone calls. Will try to resolve through PayPal. Very poor customer service.

I ordered three hammocks in June and have yet to receive my order, though my credit card was charged. Numerous attempts to contact the company have only resulted in an automated response of acknowledging my email and a promise to respond within 2-3 business days. I will have to contact my credit card to pursue a refund. The worst customer service I have EVER experienced.

On June 17th, 2020 I ordered a Mock ONE Compact Portable Folding Hammock from the Republic of Durable Goods for $127.49 through their website. They guaranteed a 10 day delivery time. It has now been 81 days. I attempted to contact the company by (1) using their online chat feature, which they recommend. I was never able to get through to a human. (2) Emailed them at their provided email address. I never heard back. (3) Called the number provided and was unable to get through. I have tried to go through these series of contact on multiple occasions and have yet to speak with anyone.

I ordered a product and was charged around $150 at the end of May. I received four updates from the company regarding shipping and distribution delays, with the last communication on July 10. I have since contacted the company regarding my product, that I have not received, five different times with no response. I have filed a compliant for a refund with PayPal, which I used to purchase the product dispite the length of time since purchase is over their required 180 days. I really wanted their product and was willing to be patient during the pandemic. At this point, it has been over three months since my order was placed, if I were receiving updates I would probably feel differently but the company has been nonresponsive.

I ordered a Mock One hammock in early June and was immediately charged for the purchase. After 2 weeks I inquired about my order status and was told that they had received a shipment and it should arrive shortly. Another few weeks and I asked again and they said they had distribution issues. They told me I could get a refund. I responded that I wanted a refund and they have not responded to me since. I have email 3 times and have heard nothing. They are basically just stealing money at this point with no intention of making good on delivering their product. I just want my money back.
