As a rule, I try to work things out with any customer who is unhappy. But this is ridiculous. We were hired to replace the patio roof on Mr. [redacted] property per the insurance scope of repair that I have attached for review. Mr. [redacted] received approximately 1100 from his insurance company after his...

deductible was calculated out. He gave us the 1100 to do the job and we agreed to do it for that amount. This is point 1 where Mr. [redacted] is wrong. He stated he gave us $1600. It took his insurance company six weeks to agree to cover the damage and send the check. He blamed us for holding up the project when we clearly told him we couldn't start until the insurance company agreed with us about the damage. After we completed the roof in a timely fashion, he pointed out other damage on the property not covered by insurance. We agreed to help him out. Then he asked us to do more work. We agreed, never asking for another penny. Then more: sheetrock, paint, crown molding, etc. To date we have done over $1,500 extra work without asking for a penny. Mr. [redacted] has never offered to pay us, pay his deductible,  reimburse us for materials, compensate us in any way for all the extra work above and beyond. All he does is complain the free extra work isn't being done fast enough. It ends now.  Please REMOVE THIS COMPLAINT. THIS IS RIDICULOUS.

Regards,
[redacted] Mr. A[redacted] is correct on the amount of the insurance check.  I stand corrected on that issue, and apologize for my error in that.  Mr. A[redacted] was quick in the initial start date.  However, the man he chose to do the work was intermittent in his work, often working a few hours and then leaving to get tools, leaving to pick up a child in Buckeye, being gone on a family trip, truck having been impounded, etc.  This was over a 3 week period.  He called me to inform me that he was fired by the company.  Late in the following week I was contacted by Mike, that he would be finishing the job.  He would be back in Az the following week.  He contacted me the next week and informed me that he would repair the drywall, (promised by Mr. Alpers), and would also do a further repair around my chimney because he did not like the quality of the job done by the previous worker.  Mike also indicated that he would paint the area where the drywall was to be repaired.  Over the next several weeks Mike would show up with a he[redacted] or two and work a little while on the drywall.  Mike tore out additional drywall saying it would be a better fix and make his work simpler.  There was no mention of any additional cost, in fact Mike said the company would cover any additional work.  Over the next 6 weeks mike said he would be here a number of times, and would not show up.  I have the text messages to verify at least 12 no shows.  Mike did put up several sheets of new drywall, he also applied texture although very poorly.  Not even closely matching the skip trowel texture of the majority of the patio ceiling.  He did seal the drywall, but before he had done a final sanding.  The paint sealer was sprayed and was not taped or masked off so areas of house, and trim had overspray on them involving 2 colors.  Mike said he would take care of any issues.  That was 2 weeks ago.  Mike has not been back, apparently fired on the 18th of Sept.   I called and texted Mr. A[redacted] several times during this whole ordeal to find out who might be coming, and when.  For the most part I was not called or texted back.  This entire process has been over approximately 10 weeks, and the work still incomplete.  I have sanded the drywall, painted the ceiling of the patio, re-painted where it had been over sprayed.  Purchased and installed trim damaged by Mike when he removed it.  I have worked with professionals in the construction trades for over 40 years.  I have never seen a business operated in such a shoddy manner, or seen such poor communications, ever.  More than 18 no shows with little or no communication until a day or two after the fact, if at all.  The property did not require any special access or permission to continue the work.  The couple of times Mr. A[redacted] did contact me I was either misinformed, or ignored.  Mr. A[redacted] makes it sound as though I was at fault.  He was given payment when payment was requested.  Payment was received by  a representative the Monday following my receipt of it which was not 6 weeks after claim was submitted but at most 3.  Mr. A[redacted] initially stated the work would be completed within a week, it was not completed by his company at all.  Mike left a mess from drywall work on the covered patio and on the brick patio adjacent where he cleaned up his tools.  It was promised by him that the area would be power washed, which was never done.  Any work that was to be done over the claim was offered without my asking, or any mention of additional payment.  THe initial scope included drywall repair, verbally Mr. A[redacted] agreed to repair a leak around the chimney.  I did ask for that to be done, Mr. A[redacted] said before he left with the signed agreement that his company would take care of that.  I cannot emphasize more the poor quality of this company, it's owner, it's project management, customer service or communication proceedures.

this is the first contact I have received from the customer. he will be taken care of this Friday.

RGB was the most knowledgeable and committed to my home. They always kept me informed of what they had planned for my roof project, gave me specific details of project and materials and more importantly, always returned calls and or emails in a TIMELY manner. The crew came in and delivered on all their promises. My home is 30 yrs old , it feels and looks like a new home with a beautiful new roof. I highly advise everyone to consider looking into RGB for any and all home project.

RGB is the best company you can go with they went above and beyond to repair my home after the hail damage. I highly recommend RGB for any home repairs needed.

Regards,

We are very happy with their work, they did everything they promised and more. The job was done properly and quickly, at a reasonable cost. The crew was experienced, hard workers, respectful and friendly. We certainly recommend them. When the job was done they cleaned up and explained how things worked, great company to do business with.

My name is [redacted] iv'e come upon such a well respect company RBG Restoration, they've done such an amazing job on my roof and restoring my once damaged shed. I appreciate all their hard work , they've made this experience stress free. I'm very satisfied with the results of RGB.

My wife and I are retired, and our budget is limited we didn't know what to do after the hail storm. RBG contacted my insurance company, I didn't even know

I was covered for hail damage. My deductible was 1,000 and we didn't even paid that, all we had to do is leave a RGB sign on our front yard. I highly recommend RGB to all!

Excellent job! Everything done in timely manner and as promised. RBG went above and beyond to make sure that we were completely satisfied.

We have been, and continue to be, in constant contact with the homeowner, in fact as recently as Friday, March 14th, 2014. We were working on the job all week, and will continue to work on the job until it is done.  All of her complaints and issues have been addressed and corrected, and we...

will be wrapping up the last part of the job this week (by March 21).

The job has taken longer than any of us wanted, due to unforeseen circumstances, but we have spoken to the [redacted] and they will be satisfied by the end of the week.

[redacted] is one of the most difficult customers I have ever encountered. Mr. [redacted] got a free roof due to our efforts with his insurance company, along with a host of extras, but he always asks for more.  We did his roof for him with no out of pocket cost- trading out his deductible for...

advertising credits, doing his flat roof for free in addition to his shingled roof, adding gutters to his house, and generally fixing up or adding on to the original estimate of repairs a number of other services. When we were done with his flat roof, he tried to get us to redo it because he claimed that it wasn't done! And he got it thrown in for free!

When he discovered that his ac ductwork had fallen into his attic, we offered to fix it- I still can't be sure it was our fault, but we agreed to take care of it.  We set a number of times to come out, but he never responded. If he has a legitimate bill from a professional ac company that we can verify is real, I will be happy to reimburse him.

We were not happy with RGB and the quality of work and lack of professionalism that they displayed. The crew that replaced our roof was terrible and we had many issues and repairs needed after they were done. Indoor light fixtures were broken, ducting need to be resealed in our attic, items in the house were knocked over, display cases and pictures knocked around. (we have pictures). We signed a contract in Dec. 2015 and the work wasn't finished until June2016. The gutters in front leaked, seal on our garden window was torn by roofers. They broke our satellite dish and said that they had replaced it, but we found out later by [redacted], that they had put the bent and broken one back on and hooked it to the roof with only two screws. (Nov 2015, [redacted] replaced that dish with a new one). [redacted] did give us another new dish and reported the incident. Out of all of the people we spoke with only the last two were able to fix our issues. Adam, was rude and demeaning, even though our gutters leaked and were not installed properly. All is taken care of now and we are glad to be rid of RGB. The owner refused delivery of a certified letter we sent to tell him about our issues. All we wanted was a good job done.

I needed a new porch and ramp for my mother who is now primarily coroner to a wheelchair and RGB was quick to respond to my needs and squeezed our project in and built my mother a large porch for her to sit on in nice weather. The workers were very courteous. If I need any further work I will definately call them. Its nice to be able to find any company these days who don't try to take advantage of the elderly and I would recommend them to anyone.

I had contacted about a half dozen roofers. RGB was the only one that took the time to go up on the roof and explain all the details of the work that needed to be done. They had no problems making time to meet with me. The work was done quickly and looks great. They went above and beyond what I had expected. Very pleased with the communication, the work, and the workers Highly recommended.

I was truly impressed with the quick response and turn around time in which my project was completed. I found RBG to be very professional and informative about the work that needed to be done. I explained to the manager what I wanted done and he did exactly that without trying to sell me something more than I needed. I would highly recommend RBG Restoration to anyone who is in need of roofing and gutters.

After RGB roofing replaced my roof I was forced to file a complaint with Arizona Registrar of Contractors due to damages left by the roofers and an incomplete job.The Registrar cited RGB with failing to meet minimum workmanship standards and my roof failed inspection by the city's building inspector. It took RGB 2 months to correct the 19 items for which they were cited. The only correction completed immediately was cutting holes for 2 dryer vents that were roofed over.

Everything [redacted] requested by us was responded to promptly- the only thing that remains is to restore his swamp cooler duct, even though this makes no sense. He originally asked us to remove the old swamp cooler and duct, and seal it with shingles, which we did. This is...

appropriate even if you later are going to put a swamp cooler back on. Since he has no idea what model he is installing, invariably the size duct we are installing will have to be replaced anyway with the appropriate size for the new unit.  Nevertheless, we have been calling [redacted] and stopping at his house every day for the last three weeks, and he neither answers the door nor answers either one of his phones. Messages are not returned. The material (duct and shingles) to install the duct have been dropped off and been at his house for over a month, but we need access to his attic crawl space to do the job. Please call us and tell us when we can come finish the job.[redacted]or [redacted]
