Right Honda Reviews (49)

Routine oil/filter change. Very friendly and professional. Warm greeting. Minimal and acceptable wait time. No appointment necessary, which worked into my schedule.

It was great! They were quick and fair.

[redacted] helped me today and was just great. Always polite and knowledgable. We ask for [redacted] every time.

Review: Dealership took in old lease on 2011 Honda CRZ and took $5000 down from me for new lease of 2014 CRZ and to pay off old lease. Finance guy [redacted] specifically told me they would take care of paying off old lease since I put $5000 down. He specifically told me he did not want me to get any unexpected payments for old lease and would pay it off. Right Honda ended up only paying off some of lease termination. Honda mailed me settlement notice on 2011 car of $800 to pay for damage to windshield when both Right Honda and myself noted there was No damage to windshield. Honda financial inspected car before it left Right Honda dealership and says there was 1.5 inch crack now in windshield. Right Honda would not take any responsibility for what happened to car on their lot.Desired Settlement: $800 refund

RE: Complaint #[redacted]

We are in receipt of the above referenced complaint from Mr. [redacted]. Upon reviewing the complaint, our General Manager, [redacted], contacted Mr. [redacted] to discuss the details of the windshield. [redacted] explained to Mr. [redacted] that while it is not 100% clear as to when the damage occurred it most certainly is something we can take care of. He apologized for the mishandling of the situation. We issued a reimbursement check for $423.98 and mailed today.

We value Mr. [redacted] as our customer and hope to continue our relationship with him. We believe that we have handled this complaint satisfactorily.

Thank you,

Business Manager

Review: I was contacted multiple times by Right Honda saying that I was pre-approved for a new car without a co-signer. I finally decided to go in and hear them out on 07/04/15. We negotiated terms and showed me the pricing that I was pre-approved form which was 5.9% specially for a new year Civic. I agreed and went to finaincial where they assured me I was approved by the bank and signed a full sales contract and financial agreement. I traded in my car (currently being paid on) into the loan and disposed of the original plates since I had received a temporary plate for my new vehicle. On 07/08/15 I received a call by the financial manager saying that bank never actually approved me and I had to bring the care back. I went in that day to return the car and they tried negotiating a high interest rate for a used car with high mileage. I refused and told them to release my trade in to me. They refused multiple times before finally giving in and releasing my car to me. When I asked for the plates they said they had disposed of them and refused to give me a temporary tag to put on my car. I also noticed a large scratch on the driver side door that was not there when I traded in the vehicle. So now I have a used car that I am still making payment on with no plates and was ripped off and had a new car ripped from my hands. They assured me Honda Financial had approved me and that the car was mine.Desired Settlement: I would like Right Honda to honor the contract that both partied originally agreed on, or compensate me for punitive damages.

Re: Complaint ID#[redacted]To Whom It May Concern,This letter serves as our response from Right Honda regarding compliant ID#[redacted] from [redacted]. Right Honda offers various promotional mailers, as well as phone calls to customers, to assist customers with the purchase or lease of new and pre-owned vehicles. These advertisements and phone calls give information on current promotions or special financing rates, but of course these are based on customers’ credit and auto loan history, and are subject to approval by the finance company. Mr. [redacted] was contacted by Right Honda to come in and talk about options for a new car. When customers’ come to our dealership, we do the best we can to come to an agreement that makes both parties happy, but financing is always subject to final approval by the finance company. Right Honda does not have access to every aspect of the customer’s financial situations, so there may be unforeseen circumstances that arise once a contract is submitted for final approval. In the case of Mr. [redacted], this was the case. American Honda Finance Corporation (AHFC) would not approve the contract as it was written on a new vehicle, because he did not meet certain criteria. After Right Honda received this information from AHFC, our Finance Manager contacted Mr. [redacted] to inform him of the bank’s decision. At this point, we offered to show Mr. [redacted] vehicles that were within the approval guidelines that were offered by different finance companies with different interest rates and terms. The finance company determines interest rates based on the customers’ credit history. Mr. [redacted] became upset and requested that we return the vehicle he was intending to trade in, and he did not wish to discuss any further vehicle options. At this point we gave Mr. [redacted] his trade in back, along with the original license plate. The trade in vehicle was returned to Mr. [redacted] in the same condition that it was received. Right Honda does not have the option to honor the original contract as Mr. [redacted] is asking, because AHFC will not extend the loan. Right Honda is not the finance company. As stated previously, there are other options for Mr. [redacted] with different finance companies for different vehicles. Mr. [redacted] is welcome to come in and discuss these other options. Right Honda strives to make each and every customer happy with their vehicle purchases, and we feel that we tried to help Mr. [redacted], but unfortunately we were not given the opportuninty. We value all of our customers and potential customers, and hope Mr. [redacted] will reconsider exploring his options.Sincerely,[redacted]Business Manager[redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Unfortunately Right Honda has provided more falsified information. My attorney has asked that all communication between me and Right Honda stop. My attorney will be in contact with them company shortly.

Review: I've been getting robocalls from right Honda for weeks. I've asked them to stop contacting me 4 times (most recently today) and to remove me from their contact list. I've never done business with them and I am on the do not call list. Not one person I've spoken to apologized but they did sound like they heard me but apparently did nothing.Desired Settlement: Remove me from all contact lists and never call me again. And send me an apology for all of the robocalls.

Response:

This letter is in response to Ms. [redacted]’s complaint regarding “robocalls” from Right Honda. These automated calls that Ms [redacted] is referring to, are actually generated from a 3rd party agency that sends out marketing campaigns for Right Honda. Our General Manager, [redacted], has taken measures to insure that Ms. [redacted] is successfully removed from any further call list. I have reached out to Ms. [redacted] as well. I have left a message and instructed Ms. [redacted] to contact me directly if she continues to receive calls. In some cases, it takes a little while for the names to be completely removed, so I gave Ms. [redacted] has my direct contact information, in case the problem should continue in the future. We do apologize that this has not been resolved with the previous attempts by Ms [redacted], and that this has created an inconvenience for Ms [redacted].We value all of our customers and potential customers, and hope this will be to Ms [redacted]’s satisfaction. Thank you.Sincerely,[redacted] Office Manager Right Honda

Right Honda is the best place to purchase a new/used vehicle. They make everything so easy, fun, and entertaining in your car buying experience. They are also extremely helpful, experienced, and polite. I was so lucky to get [redacted] to help me, who also helped my dad buy a car. [redacted] takes his job very seriously but truly enjoys doing it, you rarely get both. [redacted] made me feel like family and showed that he truly cared. He made sure I got in to the car the best suited me and ensured it was the best fit. I probably wouldn't have bought a car that day if it wasn't for [redacted].

Review: I went in to go buy a car they said they would help me out and I told the my price range (13,000) and they said that's no problem that they would work with me on it. At this point I felt great and we started looking for a car now this is our first time buying at a dealership so the sales man shows us cars that they could work with us on. Now it was my thinking since I had told them my price range I thought they would be showing me cars they would be able to work with me on. We ended up getting a Dodge Nitro and the sales manager knowing my price range comes out and tells me and my wife "we'll we got to start some where" and puts (18,999) tag on the SUV now I was overwhelmed with shock at this point I told the sales man that this is not working with us and then we had got down the saying (15,500) out the door now they knew that we where new at this so I felt like they bullied us into this deal and on top of that now really looking at the paper work they add a mark up for a sercurity system that now that I did some research comes stock with the SUV but I payed 1,295.00 for on top of that dealer documentary fee of 449.89 so total at the end was (21,095.40) so much for the out the door price now I couldn't sleep my wife and I woke up and said we couldn't do this and took it back 10hours later when they opened and tried to talk to the sales director he said he would work with us on the payment so we would be able to keep the SUV cause he said "we don't take cars back after you sign" well now I really felt screwed into this now my payment was 466.62.way to much for us and we where in tears almost cause we knew we couldn't pay this payment and we would end up loosening the SUV shortly the sales director said don't worry to come back tomorrow and they would have something for us now it took 3 days and then we went back in and they said the best they could do is drop our payments down to 438.87 and that they couldn't do any else for us and we where sent on our way. Now on the 4th day the SUV was bone dry of oil and the steering was making all kinds for noise when I would turn .. Now they said that they insect all the vehicle that they sale ok. Since my wife got the feeling that they couldn't be trusted we took to Dodge Nitro to the Dodge dealership next door to the Honda dealership and had them check it out .. What they found that the oil was out, all the disc brakes are warped, the fuel pump was broken in pieces in the tank, the fuel tank had muilpule leaks in it, the check engin light was on the whole time, the power steering had leaks and needed to be aligned and some (psf) part also in the steering, there was a recall on the transmission tunnel shield, and the battery cable are caroaded and it's loosening power to the SUV, and the remote start was not working, and evap system was putting out the code (p0457) . So I take the SUV back to Honda and they said I shouldn't take everything Dodge said to heart cause they are doing the vehicle insecption by the miles but little did Honda know I asked Dodge to check all of this cause my uncle is the one who found the oil was missing and I had said the power steering was making noise so they check everything that I ask them to and nothing more. And still didn't want to fix everything they said they would fix the major things. So they took it in to get the power steering and the fuel tank leaks fix now that took about a week and then I got the SUV back and no more then half a day later my check engin light come back on and I take it to go get read at checkers and it's telling me there are leaks in the fuel tank. And still remote start is not working and now the SUV is shouting off while I'm driving it . Now Honda knew I have 3 girls and a infint son as well that ride with me in the suv and if there are gas leaks and the vehicle is shutting off while I'm driving. They don't think it's dangerous cause they sold me the SUV and kept putting me in the SUV that they just can't return cause as the GM said its to much paper work and the paper work is at the bank already .. This is just the fk not how I feel cause if I wrote that I would need way more time so I'm still in a rental and now coming into my first payment that I can't make and they knew that cause the sales manager had said oh just go refinance it. I got the cold shoulder ever since I went back and if they cared for there customer I would like to return this and get my money back cause I feel unsafe even to drive around with my kids now. And I'll have to spend more money just to have someone does check there work again cause the couldn't fix everything the first time.Desired Settlement: I want to return the SUV and my down payment back ..

We are in receipt of the above referenced complaint from Mr.[redacted]. Prior to receiving this complaint our General Manager, [redacted], was working with Mr. [redacted] regarding his concerns. We have made all the necessary repairs to Mr. [redacted]'s 2007 Dodge Nitro, including replacement of the fuel pump, fuel tank and power steering rack, of course, at no charge to him. We did provide him with a rental car while repairs were being done. While we understand Mr. [redacted]'s concerns regarding his contract, he was not forced into signing. It was his decision to purchase this vehicle. However, in the interest of good faith we made a goodwill reimbursement to Mr. [redacted] for $650.00 for the alarm and a 3 year maintenance agreement. We value all of our customers and believe that we have handled this complaint to Mr. [redacted]'s satisfaction.Thank you

I leased a new vehicle from this dealership. After a few weeks of driving one of my front tires became flat. Twice I went to service my vehicle, the first time they told me the tire was only missing air. The next morning, my tire was flat on the ground. I live quite a distance from the dealer and when I managed to come back to service the vehicle, they told me that the same front tire had a nail and needed to be patched. I paid $40 Dollars to patch it. The next morning when I woke up, the same tire was again flat on the ground. I forced myself to deal with it every other day filling air myself until I could get back to the dealer. Finally I was able to go back yesterday. I talked to the service man and the manager about my problems. They did not seem to care at all, as if those problems were only my own. After they examined it, the service man came out and told me there was a nail in the BACK tire and it would cost me $400 to fix the problem. I asked him again about my front tire, they said the tire has been checked by a specialist and is OK with no leak. Ladies and gentlemen, I get up this morning only to find my front tire ones again FLAT on the ground. I am never going back there to service anything on my car and I suggest you find a good mechanic or a discount tire, these people will try to rip you off and then blame you in any way possible to make their profit, and that is the cold hard honestly of Wrong, I mean Right Honda.

[redacted] and your finance guy/closer(?)were courteous, efficient, professional and personable, making the entire purchase process painless. Over the years we have had 7 [redacted] (3 from Right Toyota)and 4 [redacted] (including an [redacted]). The [redacted] is the second [redacted] from Right. This recent purchase is the smoothest I've experienced.

very good. attentive. took my request right away. was curteous and right to the point

The service was outstanding. [redacted] is an excellent service advisor who kept me informed and provided detailed information on the various issues with my car. Your shuttle drives are also very professional. No doubt your service department is the reason I will buy my next car from Right Honda.

Review: This complaint is in regards to Right Honda on [redacted]. I purchased 4 cars from them between 2012 to January of 2014. In August of 2014 right honda agreed to give me an extended warranty . It is important I had all my information mailed to me . It called numerous times spoke to Tom bowman who I actually signed my extended warranty with. He never returns my phone calls I've even stopped in there and he said he got all the paper work in. I moved to [redacted] for 6 months during that time he had all my information still nothing. I called and called. I called [redacted] deals general manager of dealership he didn't call me back. I would like my warranty mailed to me. I'm tired of dealing with this dealership. After buying 4 cars because of my indecisiveness I realize this dealership has never looked out for my best interest. To try to save me money just take it. I would like my warranty soon sent to me 100,00 miles 0 deduct.Desired Settlement: My extended warranty coverage pkg sent to my [redacted] address. Real soon.

This letter is in response to [redacted] complaint regarding her extended service contract. When [redacted] originally purchased her new [redacted]; she also purchased an additional Honda Maintenance Warranty along with a Gap Policy. The vehicle also had the original factory warranty, which is a 3 year/36000 mile warranty from the time of purchase. After the purchase, [redacted] decided that she would rather have a warranty that was equivalent to warranty that she had on her previous vehicles, which was for an extended term. [redacted] informed [redacted] that she could purchase an additional extended warranty for $750, which is the dealership cost. This warranty would be a Honda Care warranty for 6 years/ 100,000miles. [redacted] was not happy with that offer, so in good faith, Right Honda offered her the warranty for no cost. This was satisfactory to [redacted]. Right Honda submitted the warranty, but due to the fact that [redacted] had already purchased a Maintenance Warranty through Honda, the additional extended warranty was rejected. Right Honda proposed to cancel the existing maintenance warranty, and provide a maintenance warranty through a different company that we use. During this time [redacted] relocated to Texas, and the company that offers the maintenance warranty would not honor the new maintanence warranty in Texas. The only other option at this point is to offer [redacted] a different extended warranty with the same coverage, through First Automotive. Right Honda has submitted this warranty for [redacted], and it actually has greater benefit for [redacted] due to the fact that the effective date is January 2, 2015, rather than the original purchase date.[redacted] has been in contact with [redacted] as recent as today 2/20/2015. We believe that we have addressed all of her concerns, and [redacted] is satisfied with the outcome. We value all of our customers and believe that we have handled this complaint to [redacted] satisfaction. Thank you.Sincerely,[redacted]Business Manager Right Honda

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

Regards,

[redacted] is the reason I drive 20 miles to come to your dealership

Personable, friendly, professional, and efficient! I got a good streamlined service and they addressed my concerns.

We test drove a ton of cars with different options. Originally came in for a used [redacted] Then ended up test driving the civic and the accord and fell in love with the civic. [redacted] was our salesman and he was very patient and kind to us. We really appreciated his input and answers to our questions.

Review: My wife and I leased a new 2015 Honda Pilot EX on 2/15 from [redacted] (fleet internet sales) @ Right Honda. We where assured by [redacted], after providing him with all our information via e-mail that he would have all of our paperwork dialed in and ready to go so that all we had to do was show up sign all the appropriate paperwork for our trade in & lease, pay our down payment and be on our way. Everything was great until we received a bill 3 months later from the accounting department stating that we owe a balance of $400.33. I immediately contacted the accounting dept and could not get a definite answer as to what the the amount owed was for. I then tried to call [redacted] and he mentioned that he would look into it but again never received a call back. Now today 8/14/2015....6 months later....we received a collections notice from e-services incorporated (account #[redacted]) for the amount of $400.33. This is truly absurd and could greatly affect my mine and my wife's credit scores at the worst possible time and could potentially affect our interest rates on our new home that we are closing on in 45 days. Keep in mind this is for a amount that no one person at that dealership can give us a definitive answer as to where it stems from! We feel like it as an error on the dealerships behalf and we should not be liable for this amount. Upon completion of the lease agreement we where assured our down payment was sufficient, there was no mention of a $400.33 amount owed, if that was the case, and it was clarified what the amount was for, we would of paid that prior to taking delivery of the vehicle. We would like to see this problem resolved ASAP because that is just poor business to send a paying customer to collections after leasing a new vehicle from your dealership.

I would just like to make it very clear that we where extremely happy with [redacted] in sales dept. He was very courteous, helpful, and professional and I would still highly recommend him. This not a complaint of his level of service, it was clearly an issue that he had no control over.

Thank You,

[redacted] & [redacted]

###-###-####Desired Settlement: Clear & Remove the balance of $400.33 from collections and your accounting department so that we are not liable for that amount.

To Whom It May Concern,Regarding complaint ID#[redacted]I spoke with Mrs. [redacted] this morning, August 17, 2015, regarding the complaint filed. We have determined that there was some communication issues on the part of Right Honda, and sincerely apologize that this has escaladed to point that it has. After speaking with Mrs. [redacted], we have come to a reconciliation. There will be no future letters sent regarding this matter, and there will be no negative remarks on Mr. or Mrs. [redacted]'s credit reports. We value all of our customers and believe that we have handled this complaint to Mr. and Mrs. [redacted]'s satisfaction.Sincerely, [redacted]Right HondaBusiness Manager

My [redacted] also had the tires rotated and was washed. I drove away thinking that was a great experience! [redacted]

We were looking to buy a 2016 Honda Civic LX. Right Honda Salesman quoted $19,500 out the door. We obtained 8 other quotes and determined this was the best price, but considerably lower than next best offer. We had asked multiple times about the price and I called the day before to verify. When we drive there ready to sign they they increase the price by almost $2k. We won't be back.

Excellent service. Sales person was very knowledgeable and courteous. Finance was very smooth and quick. Overall experience was enjoyable. Would definitely come back again when we need to purchase another car.
