Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The contract is a two party agreement, Ring Central failed to provide me with a phone service for my business that worked, I paid for a non-functional service, and I attempted fixing the problem with this company through the phone and they fail to fix the problem, I had ATW Communications ( a local subcontracting company) to look at the phone and they explained that all their customers with this company were having the same problem Ring Central wasn't able to provide me for the service that we had a contract, therefore that contract shouldn't be validSincerely, [redacted] ***

Revdex.com - this is far from a reasonable response and does not resolve this case We are not aware of any signed contract, and Ring Central's reply shows no evidence of a contract, or acknowledgement that we have been trying to cancel our account for a very long time Furthermore, wouldn't it be appropriate for them to tell us when this apparent contract expires? We clearly do not want to be their customer any more, so some sort of acknowledgement that our account will get terminated "at some point" would be useful too Underlying all this I believe is a very unethical business practice that I would ask you to investigate further and make publicly visible for others to seeThey make it impossible to cancel the account via a web request, forcing customers to call inThen, their phone service is ridiculously slowThey send invoices and billing related system emails from a " [redacted] @ringcentral.com" account so that it's difficult for customers to make support requests easily from a billing related emailIt doesn't take a genius to see that this is all clearly designed to make it very difficult for customers to cancel or dispute an invoice I do not consider this case resolvedIf RingCentral are going to continue to provide brief, non-specific responses, I would request further intervention from the Revdex.com Thank you

Well wouldn't you know that this company became very reasonable after making my complaint to Revdex.com, my original contact totally blew me off, and said they could not do anything, a contract is a contract, it didn't matter if I was using it or not Then after the Revdex.com complaint was filed I received a call from another customer service person, whom allowed me to modify my contract favorablyThis rep was very professional, courteous, timely and accountable and was very genuine in her desire to assist in the matter As of today they not only modified my contract, they also shortened it's duration and gave me a refund from last month since a billing cycle came and went while we were renegotiating the contract All in all thank you to RingCentral.com and the Revdex.comI had never made a complaint to the Revdex.com before but now realize they are completely legit, and their influence is real

A refund was provided as a goodwill gesture as well as a copy of the billWe believe this issue has been resolved at this time

As a goodwill gesture we have refunded the customer back the most recent payment and closed the account
