I also hae had problems with delivery. I was told it was in the mail last week It has not arrived and I called again to hear that it was shipped today. I have had no chemothearpy for my dog now for 3-4 days. I will NOT use tehm again

My dog takes a medication that cannot be suddenly stopped. Do to a blunder on the part of my vet to get refill info to my mail-order pharmacy in a timely manner, I was left frantically scrambling to obtain the medication from somewhere, anywhere, in time. My vet called in the prescription to Road Runner. Road Runner contacted me and confirmed they could overnight the medication and I would receive it by noon the next day. It did not arrive. I tried to contact Road Runner for tracking information--sorry-closed! Contacted UPS to see if they had anything from Road Runner to me--no. Called RR 1st thing Monday, and they confirmed it had never been sent. The person I spoke to said she would "see" whether they could credit me for the overnight shipping charges, I said the order should be canceled because in the meantime, the other pharmacy's shipment was arriving by the end of the day. They then said I would be subject to a substantial "restocking" fee. I protested that as far as I knew, they hadn't even processed the prescription. They were very helpful while getting my payment information and promising to deliver by noon the next day, but when it came to actually delivering, or, failing that, handling their screw up in a professional manner, the gloves came off.

My vet talked highly about Roadrunner Pharmacy, so we decided to take her advice on where to get our cats med prescription filled. She called them Friday and they were supposed to call us the same day to get payment information. Friday night we had to call them. I asked the woman on the phone when the meds would be here, she told me Monday. I forget the small talk after that, it was about flavors that could be added to the meds. I then passed the phone to my husband, he told her the payment information, and said thankyou and have a good night then hung up, he says he was told Monday as well(he thinks maybe it was just me who repeated it, but it may have been that the woman repeated it again, but nothing else. So Monday comes.. Monday evening there's still nothing. I called back and asked if it had been shipped, the woman checks and says that it hasn't but it should be here by Thursday, maybe Friday. I let her know that we were told Monday, and she asks if we were told about expedited shipping or that it could take 3-5 days. I told her again, no, that we were told it would arrive on Monday. She then says shes going to putt up the recording and call me back, when she calls back she lies and claims that we were told and she could get it here by Wednesday. I called today after speaking to my vet and asked about canceling the order, she informs me that it would be $25 if the meds are already made. This is the only nice, friendly, helpful employee they seem to have, my husband and I informed her of the situation, our cat is now meowing due to the pain he's in(which could have been prevented has he had his antibiotics on monday!), at this point during the day, we're not getting meds anywhere until wednesday. So sherry(again the only helpful and nice employee), says she can get it shipped out today and have it to us tomorrow, apparently this wasn't already done as the other woman had claimed. they also never informed us that they have a flat rate of $45.00 for ALL packages, so if you do make the mistake of using them, make sure your vet orders the highest quantity possible. Next time we'd be happy to pay $100+ for a local pharmacy. Never dealing with this shameful business again.-Also.. NEVER attempt to say anything negative about them on [redacted], it'll be deleted and you'll be banned, I thought from the good remarks on their [redacted], that they'd be great, turns out they're just lying by omitting the truth.

I ordered mithimazole transdermal medication for my cat with hyperthyroidism. Cost was over $75.00. I medicated her as instructed, but her thyroid levels did not change. I switched vets, received the mithimazole directly from the vet, and in a month, her thyroid levels had dropped from 11.x to 4.8. I believe that the medication received was not what we ordered. I requested a refund (twice, but was told that it had to be approved by a "supervisor." I have not heard from them. At all.

Roadrunner PharmacyCase #: [redacted]Dear Ms. [redacted],I want to take the time to apologize for the experience you had in regards to Lucky’s medication.  The medication is very bitter and we try our best to hide it with a flavor of your choice.  However, at times, the medication can overpower...

the flavor.  Due to the misinformation you received from the phone representative, we have provided additional training to ensure our representatives understand the bitterness of this drug and others as well.  I’m hoping that you were able to provide Lucky with the medication by concealing it with other food.   Thank you for your feedback.  This information will assist us in providing further training so another customer will not experience the same issue.Sincerely,Jodi D[redacted]Customer Service Manager

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[We sincerely apologize the medication was not delivered as the customer expected. We strive to meet our customers' expectations, however, there is no guarantee. We understand the urgency for all the sick pets needing their medication. We wish customers would not be so quick to judge the overall company over 1 delayed package. Also, calling names and demeaning the staff is also unnecessary. Respect is always appreciated.]I had hoped Roadrunner Pharmacy would at least try to attempt to resolve my complaint.  Instead, this company chose to respond at attacking my character and making false accusations against me, claiming I hastily judged the overall company over 1 delayed package and that I called names and demeaned the staff. These statements are simply untrue.  My opinion was formed only in part as a result of a failure to deliver medication for my pet as promised, but also in how I was treated.  I called deeply concerned about my sick pet and the individual I first spoke with offered me no empathy, no options, and no customer service.  I was treated no better by the manager I spoke with.  At no time during my conversations did I call names or demean the staff.  And finally, it is my belief that in order to get respect your first have to give respect.Regards,

Unacceptable delay in fulfilling new order - six days! The overnight shipping on new orders is misleading with the "when ready" caveat. No pharmacist ignores a patient's script for nearly a week!

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

Customer and Revdex.com,

We strive to provide our customers with an experience that

leaves them completely satisfied.  We

value our customers and provide them with the highest...

level of service

possible.  Customers are provided with

options for how they would like to do refill requests.  We offer the ability to speak with a service

technician, but we also provide other methods in refilling a prescription.  Customers can use our website to refill a

prescription or refill by the phone option.

Both these options are available to the customer 24/7 seven days a

week.  While it is unfortunate that this

customer was unable to get through service is our passion!

RoadRunner Pharmacy states next day delivery on new orders but it took 4 days to get meds from [redacted] and 7th st. to [redacted]?
They also state on website same day local service but that does not mean locally valley wide. seems the [redacted] zip code did not qualify.
Please be aware and ask them for a specific delivery time.

I'm so mad right now I can barely type. My dog has been on life sustaining meds for 7 years. Apparently RoadRunner either doesn't know what the meds are for or they don't care. After stating that they had a problem with my debit card (there was $3,000 in my account) they assured me they left me a voice mail. They did not. And they didn't try to contact me again. So now it's been more than a week, there are no pills for my dog, had to call my vet to get some to hold him over and they really could not care less at RoadRunner. Also their website is a nightmare to access.

So, Summer called me to apologize today. This is after I left a voicemail for her supervisor asking him to call me. He did not. I really really did not appreciate this as she was the last person I wanted to speak to. And after she apologized, when I explained to her that what I was upset about was not what she was apologizing for. I was upset with her demeaner. She proceeded to argue with me about this. I hung up on her, because there was no point and I was done.

My Animal Hospital has been using Roadrunner Pharmacy for years and have always received good service both for our Hospital and our clients needs.

Been using this pharmacy for 3 years with 0 issues. You need to understand they take 3-5 days to ship so advance prep is needed. Prices are very good, I have shopped around for prices. My dog has Valley Fever and the meds are quite expensive, they have a much lower price.

Roadrunner Pharmacy sent a wrong prescription (compounding/dosage) and this caused my dog to be severely overdosed. My vet called and confirmed that she had sent it correctly on a recorded line. My little guys organs started to fail and he has now been in the hospital for 4 days because of the negligence of this Pharmacy. BTW- When I called to voice my concern they put the blame on the vet....this is not correct because we have a time line and are having the compound tested as well. If you have a complaint, please voice it, as I would assume I am not the only person that has had a close to death (for my animal) experience that has caused my family extreem suffering and anguish over their negligence. I would bet they are deleting the recording as we speak...but that's just a hunch. Please don't trust your pets life with this pharmacy. I only pray my little guy make it out of this ok.

HORRIBLE customer service! STAY AWAY from this pharmacy. I would give it zero stars if I could.

My vet prescribed medication for a long time problem for my small sized cat, and this is the first time I have used Roadrunner. They refused to prescribe pills that we can cut in half and told me that this small capsule wouldn't be a problem at all for my cat. The medication came and the capsule is over 1 cm long. My cat is used to taking his pills happily with a pill pocket, but there is no way this will happen with a huge capsule (for a cat). I could shove it down his throat but it will get caught in his throat. I called the pharmacy and they said that no, they cannot take it back (I understand that), and the capsule is the smallest one they have, and there's absolutely nothing they can do about it. I asked for a small courtesy discount, they refused. So, now, I basically threw away $100 on medication that we can't use. I spoke with the supervisor, Tom G[redacted], who obviously doesn't care about their customers. Thanks, Roadrunner.....wow....this is just terrible customer service, especially since I had a concern about this capsule format to start with.

Fine place to get maintenance drugs, but if your pet needs drugs where time is of the essence, don't get them here. Shipping times vary too much to be of any help where there are time constraints on the part of the pet's health.
