Please do not close this complaint!  I am still having trouble with the company actually processing the refund that they offered.

I am very sorry to hear our services
were not performed to your satisfaction.  Our claims adjuster emailed you at the address provided their information and how to make a claim for damaged cargo.  Our claims department can be reached at 646-661-6683.  Please let me know if you do not see this in your email.
The price charged for services provided
by our Crew Leader is right in line with our current tariff pricing.  Our gps time of arrival and departure by our
service team does match the time billed. All of this is explained in our
service agreement.  If you have any

I reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and while the counter offer does not meet my expectations, I am dropping the Revdex.com complaint so that I can negotiated more effectively directly with the company.

accepting state minimum cargo insurance As we cannot fully replace items in question we would like to resolve your dispute.  I am issuing reimbursement in the amount of $21.00 for all damaged items.   I would also like to offer you an additional $50.00 customer satisfaction reimbursement for any inconveniences this may have caused.  The amount of reimbursement or repair is based on your coverage. We offer Full Replacement Coverage and Depreciated Value Coverage to customers who want protection over our Minimum Coverage which is included free with every move. With your coverage, the value of reimbursement is 60 cents per pound.  Roadrunner Relocation Services uses weight of the furniture and calculates it that way and then you can have repairs done as you see fit. If an item is not completely damaged, then that reimbursement amount is lowered for repairs. We would not be paying the whole reimbursement amount to do a repair on an item that you would be keeping. All of this is explained in our service agreement.  If you have any questions please let me know. I am rejecting this response because:  Road Runner RelocationServices has failed to address all concerns as stated in my initial complaint.  Their employees abandoned my furniture in my driveway, left my doors off the hinges to my home and made derogatory comments towards me.  Consequently,  I had to pay to have my furniture taken inside the home and reassembled ad well.  The cost of my time, frustratuon, cost, and stress was unprecedented.  I have major chronic health problems as well as hypertension in which this ordeal has only heightened the effects of my health and well being.  I am not only requesting compensation that my furniture to be repaired but akso compensation of what it costed me to get my furniture in place and the aggravation to my health.    I will agree to resolve this matter if these conditions are met.  In conclusion,  I am seeking a full refund of what I paid out and hat I paid the movers.  The total amount of what I am seeking is $1000.00 which includes financial, emotional, physical and punitive damages.  I will mail the pictures of all the damages to Mrs. [redacted] and to Road Runner Relocation Services.

I am rejecting this response because:  The company misrepresented the amount I was responsible to pay.  The amount was not only by phone but on an e-mail.  I was not told about this alleged fuel charge, $163 for 4 miles, until the day of the move and it was not explained until I was getting ready to pay for the move.  I also don't understand why they left two pieces of furniture on the truck, (as stated by them, it was being held hostage until I paid them), what kind of business is that.  They had six steps to climb to get to my apartment and they did not have to disassemble or reassemble any furniture, I did that.  I feel this fuel amount was excessive and I feel that moving 4 miles and being charged $559 was quite excessive.  I still will not recommend your company.

Unfortunately, their response does not address the many issues of the damages caused to our property, the the unprofessional behavior of the movers,etc. When we received our quote from Roadrunner Relocators, they promised the following: Thank you for the opportunity to provide our services.  First I would like to highlight our company is fully insured at no additional cost to you, our customer.  Everyone at Roadrunner Moving and Storage is professional, courteous, and hard working. Our crews are clean cut, strong, and carry years of experience. We pad, wrap, and box all items as needed before loading them onto the truck.  Roadrunner Moving and Storage has one goal in mind, to get your belongings where they need to be when they need to be there safe and secure.  We are looking forward to assisting you make a smooth relocation. Hourly rates are currently 57% off the regular price.  Our Service includes three experienced movers, tools/dollies, furniture pads, t.v. crates, shrink wrap, bubble wrap, and 26ft box truck loaded and unloaded.  They said they were fully insured, but refused to take our damage claims. They promised 3 professional, courteous and hardworking movers. WE DID NOT GET THAT. They broke our items, tried to hide it, didn't reassemble items or put them where we had plenty of space for them to.  They promised pad and wrapping of our items, WE DID NOT GET THAT. our table was broken and couch scratched due to this. Yeah promised to get our items to our new home safe and secure. THAT DID NOT HAPPEN. I have sent scores of photos proving that. So the fact that Roadrunner emailed the Revdex.com about the price difference did not address ANY of our concerns. I called the number in the email they sent you, and big surprise, as usual no one answered or returned my calls. I was told by Kevin W[redacted] that customer service would call and email me a week ago, and STILL NOTHING.I appreciate any and all assistance you can provide. And I will be more than happy to cooperate with any further proof or information needed.Thank you!
