Called last week to make a reservation and spoke with [redacted]. I have been a member here since 2008 or 09 either way almost 6 years and have always paid maintenance fees in full in the beginning of the year and choose not to pay quarterly payments so long story short always paid early!!!
The day being March 20 it totally slipped my mind about maintenance fees due to paid off full contract YEA!!
Well let me just say I called in to make a reservation & was told I was unable to do so because I am delinquent. I explained there is no way due to paid off my whole contract. She placed me on hold and came back and said it was due to maintenance fees for the quarter not even 100.00 I said ok I can pay that now she said ok but I would have to call back to make the reservation in couple days due to my card has to process.... That is so unprofessional to me!!!! How have I paid over $8,359.92 for the resort membership & maintenance fees of over 2,298 making that a total almost $10,657.92 and I cant make a reservation due to 100 dollars....
Very unhappy!!!
UPDATE: Today being 3/27/15 I called to make a reservation again due to they said give it a couple days I gave it a week. NOW they are saying I have to call in 14 days ahead of time to make a reservation due to I am staying less then 6 days... This is crazy ever since this company took over this has been a horrible experience. I have paid thousands of dollars and this is NOT what I have signed up for!!! I will make it a point through reviews and complaints with the attorney general and the Revdex.com that NO one else will go through what I am!!! I kindly requested the owner's name and [redacted] who I spoke with refused to even give me his name or email!!!! Very unprofessional!

Our records indicate that the certificates were attempted to be delivered on 7/18/16 by USPS, but no body was available to accept the mailing, and then delivery was confirmed on 7/21/16. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance. Thank you very much.

Thank you for your correspondence. We understand the consumer's request and are reaching out directly to them via USPS with a proposal that we believe will satisfy both parties. They should expect to receive this mailing by the end of the week. Thank you.

We stayed at the resort over Labor Day Weekend and our cabin had BED BUGS. I have numerous bites all over my body. That is the most disgusting place I've ever slept. The resort was nice but our cabin wasn't.

We were invited to tour their facility on March 16, 2014 and return we would receive 4 $25 gas vouchers and 30 days of free camping at any of their five resorts. One in NC another in Pa and three in Ohio. On March 17 we sent in our first $25 gas vouchers and the other the first of May. I made many phone calls asking when I would receive payment on the vouchers and all I get is they are in the process. A couple of weeks ago, I spoke with Allen of member and he told me there was no record of my receipts or request and this after I spoke with him on several different occasions. Last week I spoke with another party and she told me they were approved for processing last May but I still haven't received any payment. AS far as the 30 days of free camping. Again, I made numerous calls for the punch card and received many different excuses. I just received, after waiting four months received my punch card but they put restrictions on the parks who would accept the card when I have a written document that says I will receive a punch card to be used at any of their five parks. I sent a complaint to the DOJ of NC and they made numerous attempts with TRA and said TRA would not respond to their requests for solution so the DOJ recommends filing a suit through the courts.

We are not sure why the delay in mailing them, and are very sorry that it has taken so long to get them mailed out. We will do everything in our power to keep this from happening in the future.

  This is in response to [redacted] complaint, and request to cancel his Resort membership.  Although, we are under no obligation to cancel it we will as a courtesy because of his specific situation.
 A Termination and Mutual Release will be mailed out for his review and signature. Upon our receipt of the signed Release we will in turn cancel the membership, and clear out the balance owed.
 We reject [redacted]s suggestion that [redacted] was working against him.   He was merely answering questions about the Resort. The interested parties contacted [redacted] he did not contact them.
  This completes our investigations and answer into this problem and complaint.

  In response to Ms. [redacted]’s complaint we would like to clarify any misconceptions regarding the facts and circumstances surrounding his membership purchase.
  Ms. [redacted], please review the signed copy of Mr. [redacted]s contract that states his membership term is 99 years. I have also attached the Legacy Membership Benefits that we are honoring.  As for the change in amenities the Resort reserves the right to change them as deemed necessary by resort operations.
  In Mr. [redacted]’s complaint he also states he made several visits to the resort and, had several opportunities to get what ever promise that was made to him in writing. The file does not contain any documentation that the contract would be changed to a seven year term. So I am afraid we will not change it from the original agreement of 99 years.
  If it is Mr. [redacted]’s desire to have his wife’s name added we will be glad to do that if he will call our office with her name.
  
  This completes our investigation and answer to this complaint.
