I need to get the invoice or invoice number as I am not sure of the name of the Roto-Rooter customer

Again:Roto-Rooter was at [redacted] to inspect a main sewer line for the address on 4-23- At that time the Roto-Rooter Technician both inspected using a camera and machine cleaned the mainline Upon inspection there were roots present from approximately 25ft to 60ft The roots present were removed through machine cleaning The roots infiltrated the sewer line at a joint where the line changes from cast iron to a clay tile material which is a common occurrence The main sewer line is now free flowing and clean of roots, however roots will again become present in the line There is a six month guarantee on the cleaning of the mainline During the camera inspection there were no breaks or visible cracks in the line at this time After cleaning the mainline it is functioning as designedRobert ***General Manager

We submitted a refund to the customer for $to our corporate office

I spoke to Roto Rooter about the issue with my tub and they said they would be willing to fix the leak minus the money that I already paid. I said I would speak to them after the holidays in January to make an appointment to get this fixed

This work was performed on 3/9/15. After speaking with the current water mitigation manager, it was agreed to reduce $off the original $invoice. Our collections department is working with the home mortgage company for the remaining $payment

Roto-Rooter has been in contact with Mr*** both in person at his home address and email communication. During the visit to his home, we reviewed the damaged areas of the home. During this investigation, Roto-Rooter determined the cause of his water damage was not a result of
the work provided by a Roto-Rooter employee. Mr*** was contacted and informed that his claim for damages was being denied. Mr*** was also informed he could file a claim with his homeowner's insurance and they could subrogate the claim. During the same conversation, Mr*** was provided the name of our insurance provider name (***) Mr*** is aware this is how this process works as he is an insurance adjuster

Roto-Rooter sub contracted with excavator ** ***Customer complaint was with excavator not with Roto-RooterIssue has been resolved and complaint has been closedCustomer has been satisfied

*** ***I not once ever suggested a "Flexible pipe"! I placed a Flexible Pipe myselfThe issue is/was, The company didn't fix anything! If they had did a thorough inspection at the initial scheduled service call, I would have told them to leave everything the way it wasBeacause what they (roto-Rooter) did was, reroute a pipe and left the setup exactly the way the original setup wasonly difference was, they placed the plastic pipe inside the house instead of outsideThe issues that was found later (which should of been found on day 1) was something the previous owners must have known aboutI recently purchased the home and moved in 1/and I advised the workers of this and stated, I just wanted to know why the pump was going off so frequentlyLike I stated beforeIf everything was disclosed to me day of the evaluation, I would have told them to leave everything the way it wasNot to move pipe from exit point of my house, just to have exit from another part of my house and then tell later that they'll give me $off, of a $job! You're not giving me anything off if I already paid! Fact of the matter is, Roto-Rooter could have left everything exactly the way it was when I purchased the house and it would have been fineBut telling me the job they did would fix my problem (and it didn't) just to tell days/weeks later that I need $worth of additional work in order to make it work, is totally unacceptableAnd the Escavation manager was completely and totally out of line for his tone and comments!!

I have not spoken with anyone from this company and all of my correspondence have gone unanswered

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. For all of the hassle, exaggerations, unnecessary comments like MUST BE DONE BEFORE SALE OF HOME which I had to show to the buying Realtor, only to later present a much different letter causing even more confusion, I had to hire ANOTHER plumber, for $The reason is Roter Rooter went from once extreme viewpoint to the other, which did nothing but confuse the buyer of my house, which Roter Rooter insisted be so made aware of my situation.I am asking for compensation of $to pay for the 3rd party plumber to come to the house, with the buyers present, all because of Rotor Rooters extreme exaggerated invoice

On Mon, Aug 7, at 9:AM, *** *** wrote:I apologize for responding this late - I was up north with my family and there is limited cell/service I saw the notice that the case was closed, but I would like to continue to work with you on this if possible. In response to their reply on 7/28/2017: A water mitigation tech never came out nor gave an estimate - it is not a big deal but that never happened so I am not sure why he stated it did The city called me with concerns about the company and when I called Roto Rooter, they stated they would not start the work until the city had seen the video and I gave the go ahead They started the work anyway and only stopped when I found out from a neighbor that they had already dug up my yard They put me in the position of not having any choice It was not during the delay that the excavator volunteered to inspect my floor drain He called me at the end of the day (long after the delay) and wanted to know more about the backups He was concerned and said he wanted to check the floor drain He stated he would bring in his camera the next day and take a look Despite telling all of the technicians about previous issues in the floor drain, he was the only one that listened This led me to believe that perhaps that was causing the backups as I suspected He did not do it because he was waiting during the delay Jordan called me the next day and stated he could only get his camera in inches He stated that he would have some more equipment brought out to clean it out They claim that the video tech (Adam) that sold me the entire service volunteered to come out on his day off to clean that out - just to be nice He was told that Adam had contacted me that day and shared what was going on - again this is not true and did not happen The only person that contacted me that day was Jordan He shared numerous concerns that when I shared them with Troy, I was told, "I wish he had not said that" and "I wish that you had not talked to him" When I shared my concerns about being told that I shouldn't talk to the people that were actually doing the work, I was told that they were not as knowledgable about it.I have repeatedly asked the company for the videos taken in the floor drain and for a write up of the work done on the floor drain I would like documentation, especially if there are future problems Despite being told I would receive these items, I have not received anything other than the original video of the mainline which I already have They have provided no evidence that confirms the belly caused the problem and not all the additional work they did for "free".My concerns are that I was sold a service that I may not have needed, the work that maybe should have been done first was not done until the excavator actually saw the need, the additional work is not documented and there is not a guarantee then It seems they just wanted to sell me a $6,service which I really cannot afford They are threatening to put a lien on my home
