To Whom It May Concern: We received a Revdex.com customer complaint letter from user [redacted]. She canceled her subscription after scheduled renewal took place, even thou she was informed that she has to cancel her subscription before Friday, July **, 2016 to prevent any future billing (see screenshot...
"Receipt"). We have the information about future renewals and instructions how to cancel the subscription on a Payment Screen (see screenshot "Payment Screen"). We also sent a message to her 24/7 support page on 6/**/2016 12:19:24 AM thanking her again for her payment and a reminder to cancel her subscription with instructions and a link "[redacted]" We have warned Tiffany Tivey on 3 different occasions, but she ignored it. Had she canceled her subscription before Friday, July **, 2016 all billing would have ended. We consider this matter is closed.
Roomster is a scam for money. They advertise that this site is free to use, but this is false. I put my apartment on Roomster, and when I received messages from other users about it, I was then notified that in order to read my messages, I have to pay a fee. Secondly, I have been getting texts from who I think are representatives for the company, urging me to sign up for the site, falsely claiming that they are people in need of housing. Lastly, their customer service is horrendous and rude. I have never been so disappointed in a website in my whole life. Do not use this service.
We have found the account that is linked to [redacted] She canceled her subscription after scheduled renewal took place (see screenshot “Billing”), even though she was informed that she has to cancel her subscription before Thursday, September 22, 2016 to prevent any future billing (see screenshot “Receipt”). All charges were authorized. She agreed to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. [redacted]We state the information about future renewals and instructions how to cancel the subscription on a Payment Screen (see screenshot “Payment Screen”). But as a courtesy to her we have issued a pro-rated refund of the last transaction. This process can take a couple of business days. customer complaint letter from [redacted]. Her statement is not correct. We state it very clear that the subscription will be renewed unless customer will cancel the subscription before scheduled renewal will take place (see screenshot “Receipt”). Also we have a “Money back guarantee” policy ([redacted]), she just had to use “request a pro-rated refund” link. And she would receive a pro-rated refund immediately. But as a courtesy to her we have issued a full refund of the last transaction. Customer Service [redacted] RE: Roomster refund completed Good news! Your full refund in the amount of $45.95 has been credited to your account. You have been issued a credit back for the remaining days left on your subscription. Please note you were charged only for the days that you had full member access up until the time of cancelation of your subscription. You should see your credit back in your account within a few business days. We welcome your business in the future and hope that we have provided you excellent customer service. We consider this matter is closed.
Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
When does signing into an account relate to use of the account? The service I used on July ** was a reply to an inquiry which if you want to get technical is not a premium service. Are you saying because I applied to the service, your going to bill me again? The renewal of our credit card is placed microscopically and your business practices are a disgrace.
In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

[Your Answer Here]
I received only one of the 3 refunds.
I attach the official mail from my bank that opened a case and states that Roomster still own my $59.95.
I am going to the court if they don't refund my $59.95.
The document they are providing is false or incomplete.

Tell us why here.. To Whom It May Concern:
We received a Revdex.com customer complaint letter from user [redacted].
She deleted her account on 6/*/2016 4:39:37 PM. [redacted] has never...
canceled her subscription. Her subscription was canceled by Roomster after her third and final renewal which is consistent with our subscription policy that she agreed to. (please see the screenshot “Payment”) Had she canceled her subscription all billing would have ended. Also the amount of money she claims was taking from her account is incorrect. (please see the screenshot “Billing”)
All customer service is done via 24/7 Support page which you can access at any time and it’s a free service. [redacted] has never contacted us for a refund or indicated that there were any issues on her account. (please see the screenshot “Helpdesk”)
We consider this matter is closed.
Please see screenshots that we took from Authorize.net of [redacted]’s transactions and refunds and attached it to this letter. This is evidence that we have refunded all transactions in full on 11/**/2015. We consider this matter closed.
We do not have any affiliation with Craigslist. Please see the screenshot.
Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that The refunded the money and then deleted my profile so I would not have any proof of what they posted line my personal information that they had no legal stand to do. I tried to talk to customer service in the morning and the afternoon and at night asking have they billed me again? Never a response within many hours then when I file a complaint they deleted my profile with the proof to what they did. [redacted], I figured it was okay to delete my profile. I need it to show it to an attorney so I would like for my profile to be restored. They stated I was rude to customer service via text but deleted the proof. I did not, they are afraid and admitted they were revamping their system not to show people's personal interest and I never signed up for that.I will get media involved if I need to.

I am highly upset. After paying $5.95 for a 3 day trial I was charged $29. I had no idea this would happen and I can't get in touch with anyone. This is the worst customer service ever and I will never use roomster again. I just want my refund.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
I was charged $29.95 3 times for monthly subscription even though it was supposed to be cancelled after the 3 day subscription. I was only refunded for 2 of the 3. Still awaiting final refund of $29.95.
In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

I signed up for a 3 day trail and started receiving unknown charges. When you call their customer services line the first thing it says is, "if you're calling about billing issues, fill out the form online". When you go to fill the form out no one gets back to you. IT IS A COMPLETE SCAM!

folder/page” as customer call it is in the Roomster app menu, and as you can see yourself (please, see the “App Menu” screenshot) this folder is very visible, has the same size, the same font as all other folders in the menu. So, clearly the statement, that we have a hidden folder is a false. We state all the information about renewals on the Payment page, Also, we sent message to the Helpdesk with a reminder and instructions how to cancel subscription and we sent a receipt to a customer’s email with the same information. (please, see the “Receipt” screenshot). We received chargebacks from the PayPal, we declined the chargebacks and provided all the documentation to the PaPal. Customer is not eligible for any refunds. We consider this matter is closed.
