Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:   As far as I know nothing else can be done even though I am not happy with this because  it's just my word against theirs, I didn't save a copy of my emails I sent to them because I never thought that I would have to deal with this on this level.   But I guess that is why they are not accredited by the Revdex.com  and why they have a grade C.   138 complaints about this same issue I guess WE all need 2 look more closely 2 whom we re dealing with w/ these online scams.  My message 2 Roomster.com is that if you had a service that that was worth your tricky billing practices then you wouldn't get all these complaints.

subscription after scheduled renewal took place (see screenshot “Billing”), even though she was informed that she has to cancel her subscription before Friday, August [redacted] 2016 to prevent any future billing (see screenshot “Receipt”).  All charges were authorized. We state the information about future renewals and instructions how to cancel the subscription on a Payment Screen (see screenshot “Payment Screen”).  But as a courtesy to her we have issued a pro-rated refund of the last transaction. even before receiving a letter from Revdex.com.   We consider this matter is closed and waist of Revdex.com time.

Good day!
We received a Revdex.com customer complaint letter from user [redacted] with assigned ID# [redacted].
We understand what the issue is, and we did our best to resolve it by issuing a refund. Unfortunately we are not able to help further in this case.  Roomster is not responsible for fees and charges of banking institutions.
Thank you,
Roomster Team

List of a room on Craigslist and for two days have gotten totally spammed buy fake notifications of interested parties and everyone leads back to the room store sign up form. This is false advertising or misrepresentation at the very least.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I did send e-mails to the help desk at Roomster asking them to check for an account in my name or my daughter's name, gave both names, and also gave the last 4 digits of my credit card, which was used to pay for the account.  However, Roomster never responded to those e-mails or this issue would have been resolved some time ago.  If my credit card is no longer charged, then I will consider the issue resolved.  I cannot know whether the issue has been satisfactorily resolved until I confirm that I am no longer being charged the fee on my credit card.  I will not know this until I receive my next credit card statement.  I am very dissatisfied with Roomster as a result of the lack of response from the help desk to my emails and the inability to speak to a customer service representative directly.[redacted]

subscription after scheduled renewal took place (see screenshot “Billing”), even though he was informed that he has to cancel his subscription before Thursday, July 07, 2016 to prevent any future billing (see screenshot “Receipt”).  When he contacted the Helpdesk account representative provided all the information about renewal and as a courtesy to him we have issued pro-rated refund as he requested even before we received a letter from Revdex.com.  We also sent a message to this 24/7 support page on 7/*/2016 9:24:54 PM thanking you again for your payment and a reminder to cancel your subscription with instructions and a link "Your subscription can be canceled at any time. There is a link to manage your subscription right on this page."  Had he canceled his subscription before Thursday, July **, 2016 all billing would have ended. Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

It is very clear that numerous e-mails and text messages that I have received have the same fake link leading to Roomster under different names. Whether it's initiated by Roomster or it's affiliates, Roomster is ultimately stands to benefit from links to their site and are ultimately responsible. The ads seem to good to be true and another friend has experienced the same problem. The person sponsoring the (fake) ad wants to find out right away when you've logged in. There is no further contact by the person sponsoring the ad after you've logged in nor the same ad to be found in Roomster. I even had a brief phone text conversation with one of the individuals who acknowledged that it was a fake ad. It's so prevalent that it would be easy for an independent reviewer to investigate.Example. "[redacted]." (Leads to Roomster website.)Secondly, I tried to call Roomster at a phone number listed in [redacted], but there was no response. I tried to communicate via e-mail, but there is no e-mail address or customer service number listed on their site. The only way that I could see to contact Roomster was to logon via [redacted], etc. After having this experience, I did not wish to login into their site with my personal information and become a member.Roomster seems to be trying to avoid responsibility for bogus ads leading to their website. This does not solve the problem and leads to a lack of responsibility by anyone for the problem. There are other roommate matching websites that do not seem to have this problem with bogus ads lead to [redacted] does not allow people even to use the term 'Roomster' in their ads. Ultimately, a business' reputation will lead to it's long term success and how it handles problems with the public. [redacted]

[redacted] signed up with a Roomster and purchased a subscription on 9/*/2015 12:17:49 AM.  Not only did he authorize the subscription, we also sent him notifications and confirmations. He has logged in 100's of times into his Roomster account throughout all his billing periods, yet he...

never once made an attempt to contact us via our 24/7 support help desk or to cancel his subscription. Had he contacted us, we would have advised him to cancel his subscription and issued a refund for any charges. We have since issued a refund for the 3 authorized purchases and consider this matter closed.
