My parents purchased their cars here and have had them serviced here for years. They have always told me how professionally and courteously they have been treated. I was very happy to receive exactly that type of service when I came here to buy a car. [redacted], [redacted] and [redacted] were all professional and knowledgeable and made my purchase easy. Based on both my parents and my own experience, this is not a once in a while thing, it is an all the time way of doing business for the long haul. Thanks guys.

Unfortunately, this is a difficult situation. The customer has put us in a "he said, she said" situation by continuously denying they were told the vehicle had prior lemon history even though we had three different employees on multiple occasions tell her, and her husband at the time of purchase,...

that the vehicle had this history. In fact, the first contact was a phone call to a different sales consultant that let them know exactly what they were coming to see. This purchase process covered multiple days and every vehicle on our website comes with a free Autocheck provided that shows the prior history. How is it that we are hiding information available in plain sight?We have offered to trade the customer their full purchase price towards another vehicle, thereby saving the tax they previously paid. I have offered to let them take the vehicle for days to test it and take it to their own mechanic. I have had multiple good conversations with Melissa but there is another person who was completely uninvolved in the purchase process that is accusing us of lying and pushing this issue. I have e-mails from this person threatening us with criminal charges on something that is, at most, a conciliatory court issue. Our offer to trade for another vehicle still stands. Our offer to let them take a long, extended test of this vehicle still stands. If the customer is going to continue to accuse us of lying we are more than prepared to defend ourselves in a court of law, on oath, and present our evidence. We have a 25-year history of satisfying over 30,000 customers in purchasing a vehicle from our dealer group and we've had over 1 million service visits. We will vehemently defend our reputation as it's hard earned. Our number one goal is to have happy customers and we are going above and beyond in our offer to trade full value to another vehicle.

Both CarFax and Autocheck show no signs of reported accidents. There are many reasons why a part, even a door, may have been replaced. We would deal with the issue, and the issue isn't a loss of value. I even guaranteed a person that called on her behalf that I would cover the fair market value of the car down the road even if they didn't buy another car from us.
We sold the car for a very good price and it's been a good car for the customer. As I said, we will address the performance issue of the door but will not compensate for a perceived loss of value - as there has been none.

While it is true that many cars on the market have had replacement parts, there certainly is a difference between a replacement cup holder and a replacement door, for example. Further, the combination of there being a replacement headlight on the same side of the driver's door leads me to believe to this car was previously involved in an accident or collision. A simple walk around or visual inspection of the vehicle prior to sale would have shown this.
I have declined Rydell's repeated attempts to get me to come in because I do not feel comfortable visiting with the manager given his tone. I do not trust Rydell to perform any work on my vehicle because if they were willing to sell me a collision damaged vehicle incognito then who knows what they might try to do to my vehicle while in their possession?
Rydell's claim that the vehicle has been a good car for me is false. Aside from the worrisome replacement driver's side door and headlight, there is a missing piece inside an actual headlight casing that causes bulbs to burn out at a much faster rate. In order to obtain the replacement piece, a new headlight kit is required which costs upwards of $500. There has also been an issue with my vehicle's starter as of late.
I reject Rydell's claim that they assume zero liability.

I have been going to Rydell Auto Outlet since 1999 when it was a Saturn dealer. They have been very honest. I have always been treated with respect. Estimates of costs and time required are pretty accurate. Oil changes have an option to purchase "Drive Sure" benefits which provides 120 days of roadside assistance, road hazard tire protection.

I had a completely positive experience at Rydell Auto Outlet in Mounds View. The sales consultant was very knowledgeable and helpful without making me feel pressured or hurried. I would like to deal with them again when I'm in the market for another vehicle. I can certainly understand how they have earned their A+ rating.

I want to thank Elvis M[redacted] and Martin K[redacted], together they made it easy, fun, and cost affordable to purchase my first car from Rydell Auto Outlet. My brother has purchased several cars from Rydell Auto Outlet and recommended we start shopping there first. On November 19, 2016 I purchased a Mitsubishi Mirage with a great financing package with the help of Elvis and Martin. I highly recommend these two individuals and their company, Rydell Auto Outlet. It is the place to start and stop looking for a car that meets your auto needs and pocketbook!

I worked with Randy and the entire process was flawless. I purchased a new Suzuki Kingquad, and Randy and his team discussed all the current promotions and rebates offered. There was no pressure or upselling from anybody, just an entirely easy going sale from start to finish. I have never felt so comfortable at a dealership, and would highly recommend Rydell Auto Outlet & Garage to everyone. I hope to be doing business with Randy at Rydell again in the near future.

We first stopped in to Rydell Auto Outlet about two years ago. We did not have any expectations, we were just looking for a reliable, reasonable car. This is when we met salesman Scott M[redacted] and our car buying experience changed permanently. Scott made car shopping relaxing and fun with his no pressure style. We had been to other dealerships and had the high pressure sales pitch of buy...buy..buy! Scott was such a welcome relief and a great asset to the auto industry. Two years later now, we just bought our 3rd car from him, including one for my teenage son. I would trust Scott's judgement over all else. My husband and I would never go anywhere else other than Rydell and Scott. Thank you for being a great salesman and dealership.

I've been used car searching for months, and the service provided by Rydell has been beyond comparison. Their receptionist Bri is friendly, and Elvis specifically has taken more than his fair share of time to help me test drive, compare vehicles, consider financing offers, and in the end do what was best for me. The atmosphere is clean and welcoming, it really does feel like you're working with family. Over the months that I've been working with them, I've never been shuffled around, and I've gotten to know not only Elvis but the entire Rydell Auto Outlet family. Also did I mention they have $9.95 oil changes! I'm very satisfied with my final purchase and would recommend Rydell to anyone.

I went in to the dealership and met with Elvis M[redacted]. I explained what I was looking for, and he found some cars in the lot I was interested in, and even showed me some I hadn't previously considered. After finding a car I liked, but it had minor damage, he offered to bring another car from another lot for me to test. It was a great car at a very fair price. The process was very smooth, and Elvis was a "no pressure" "no hassle" kind of sales person. I was very happy with my service at Rydell!

We have contacted the customer and initiated the steps to get a resolution. There are a lot of pieces to the story, mainly that it's a non-factory remote and unfortunately a vendor that disappeared on us, but clearly it falls in our lap...

to have handled this better and more promptly. The customer is bringing the vehicle to us at which point we will take it to an aftermarket vendor and find a solution. All employees involved have been coached on how we would handle this differently and better in the future. We will get this resolved promptly.

We have taken the vehicle to an aftermarket key company and had a second key made and programmed. We gave the customer a car to use in the meantime, gassed his car and did a quick clean on it. This was something that took a little effort to get handled but nothing out of the ordinary. We simply dropped the ball in communication and will implement processes to insure it doesn't happen again.

Rydell service center inspected and fixed my truck,after I was rear-ended. They were very thorough and timely in the repairs. Chelsie, in the Service Dept. was very pleasant and professional to work with. I have also had my oil changed on my car at a different date, and was very satisfied with the rapid service.
