Our office is in receipt of the complaint filed by Ms [redacted] We greatly appreciate this opportunity to respond Please be advised that the very same concerns were raised on behalf of Ms [redacted] in a separate complaint filed with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB)In response to that complaint we advised that contrary to Ms [redacted] ’s assertion, please be assured that we did provide her with notice that the account was scheduled to be reported to the Credit Reporting Agencies (CRAs) prior to our sending the account to the CRAsWe have no reason to believe she did not receive our correspondence because the letter was sent to the same address listed in her complaint and the letter was not returned by the post office as undeliverableMs [redacted] also indicates the account was reported to the CRAs after she settled the account with our office on 6/1/Please be assured that the account was first reported to the CRAs before payment was received on the accountAs a courtesy, we have instructed the Credit Reporting Agency (CRA) to delete the accountPlease note that we cannot control the speed in which the CRA acts upon our request and we recommend giving them at least thirty (30) days to update their recordsWe trust this resolves your concerns

Our office is in receipt of the complaint filed by Mr [redacted] We greatly appreciate this opportunity to respond Please be advised that the very same concerns were raised on behalf of Mr [redacted] in a separate complaint filed with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB)In response to that complaint we advised Mr [redacted] indicates that CCS violated the FCRA, but provides no basis for that assertionIf Mr [redacted] could please provide us with additional information to support that assertion, then we would be happy to reconsider this furtherThat being said, we have closed this account with our office and the Credit Reporting Agencies (CRAs) were instructed to delete the accountPlease note that we cannot control the speed in which the CRAs will act upon our request and recommend giving them at least thirty (30) days to update their recordsAnother concern of Mr [redacted] is that he alleges CCS did not provide him with an opportunity to dispute the debt through a dunning letterContrary to his assertion, we did send him several letters, including a letter that included his validation rightsWe have no reason to believe he did not receive our letters because the letters were not returned by the post office as undeliverableFinally, Mr [redacted] indicates that CCS’ attorney contacted him via email outside of the times permitted under the FDCPAWe would first like to point out that the person Mr [redacted] contacted is not an employee of CCS; he contacted our outside General Counsel at an email address that is not owned or operated by CCSFurthermore, our outside counsel was not emailing Mr [redacted] regarding a debt collection matter, so the FDCPA and its time restrictions were not applicableWe trust this resolves your concerns

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted] Please add your rejection comments below The letter sent to my home from this so-called collection company was address to Mr***, not Mrs***It also made no mention of whom they were representing or what the debt was in lue of, which I'm sure is illegal and violates a few consumer rights actsSo it seems incredibly unlikely that I nor anyone in my family was involved in this event which makes sending a bogus demand letter to my home a direct violation of the FDCPA collection acts and practicesI do not accept this response because the company is trying to deny ties to another division within its company hence trying to duck responsibility for sending out a bogus claim letter violating my rights as a consumerSo an apology letter to Mr [redacted] is still in order! Regards, [redacted] ***
