***, per [redacted] by the time the complaint had reached BRLC, the issues had already been addressed, the correct number of shingle rows were installed and the metal trim were replaced, there are no leaks in the roofThanks, [redacted] Administrative AssistantBlue Ridge Log Cabins [redacted] *** [redacted] ***Campobello, SC 29322( [redacted] ***Visit us online @ www.BlueRidgeLogCabins.com

I will respond to the five sentence statement from BRLC point by pointIn totality, it is a fabrication of inaccurate facts, establishing Blue Ridge Log Cabins' abject disregard for the truth.MESSAGE FROM BUSINESS: The companys position is the same now as it was years agoThe customer made drastic changes to the scope of work on the interior finish of the home once it was delivered, these changes were not in the original contractiethey wanted our standard wooden tongue and groove wall board replaced with sheet rock, which substantially increased the time and work allocated to complete the homealso, an additional room was added to the porch and deck system that was not originally contractedan agreement was made to split the costwe are not aware of any structural issues1) BRLC: "The companys position is the same now as it was years ago." 1) My response: How could this be? Seven years ago? Construction was not started on my home until Sept It was set on Thursday 11/18/The electric work was not performed until June and Sept/Oct The invoices were submitted early Therefore, BRLC could not have had a position until years ago.Even so, BRLC has had positions1--In a 2/12/email they declined paying, maintaining, "The account has been closed." This position was again restated in 10/Yet, I was compensated for other expenses in 12/2--In a 1/23/email their position changed to, "All electric work on your house has been paid in full.", but they were unable to produce requested documentation3--Finally, after considering my submitted invoices, in an email on 5/15/they established their 3rd position and they agreed to compensate me, but at 50%I declinedI repeated my request again in (they declined) and again in (no response)I will add, Chip S*** (Blue Ridge Log Cabins president/owner) included the caveat to his 5/15/email directly after his offer of 50% compensation, "However, I want you to be happy." I am not happy2) BRLC: "The customer made drastic changes to the scope of work on the interior finish of the home once it was delivered, these changes were not in the original contractiethey wanted our standard wooden tongue and groove wall board replaced with sheet rock, which substantially increased the time and work allocated to complete the home." 2) My response: I have email (6/14/11) documentation from Chris D**, my BRLC sales rep, before the house was built stating BRLC would install the sheetrock and/but I would be responsible for the finishing of the sheetrock - taping, mudding, sanding etcThere was no mention of additional cost to BRLC or me I will add, pursuant to this dispute, I had an estimate performed as to the amount of time required to install the sheetrock and also the standard BRLC paneling, trim, and molding--The estimate for sheetrock was people/days--The estimate for paneling, trim and molding was people/daysThus the installation of sheetrock was actually a savings for BRLCAs it was, consistent of the workers' skill set, 5/8'' and 1/2'' sheetrock panels were installed side by side! The reality is, BRLC has no idea nor can produce documentation as to how much or where the sheetrock was installed, nor how long it took to installIn one email (3/15) they claimed it was days and weeks for the work to be doneIt is true there was "substantially increased time and work allocated" trimming out my houseHowever, it was a function of crew's inferior workBRLC acknowledged the need for corrections and sent one of their best teams to correct errors in Sept 3) BRLC: "also, an additional room was added to the porch and deck system that was not originally contracted." 3) My response: The additional room was constructed solely by my general contractorIn actuality, it reduced the labor of the trim teamThey used the front wall of the room as support for the porch roofOtherwise, they would have had to erect support columns themselvesAlso, my GC had to teach them how to build the porch roof 4) BRLC: "an agreement was made to split the cost." 4) My response: I never agreed to the splitIf I had, I would not have filed this complaint with the Revdex.com 5) BRLC: "we are not aware of any structural issues." 5) My response: I have documentation of repeated requests (5/14, 1/15, 5/17, 6/17, 11/17) I received assurance as far back as 10/9/from BRLC that when a crew was in my area, and the issues would be assessed and resolved Please let me know if the emails to which I referred are neededI also have photos of their inferior carpentry work and sheetrock skills in practice and of structural damage - water leakage into the living roomIn addition to structural issues, corrections to still existing carpentry errors are requested

Met with the Kress's yesterday and have reached agreement on their complaint I believe that the matter was a communication issue and not a capability issue

The plumber is completing the rough in for the upstairs today We will ensure that a door slab is installed from the basement to the main level of the house this week Please contact us when the HVAC rough in is complete so that we may come and complete the trim out of the interior We will need to be informed as to the installation of the deck footers before we will be able to proceed with the porches and decks portion of our contract

I forwarded a copy of the contract which has "Special Terms" listed on the very front pageThose terms include that contracting costs would not exceed $80,We agreed to increase that amount prior to closing with *** bank in February of We told BRLC that we didn't know any General Contractors and they assured us they would find GC's for usThey found sub-contractors and the one who received money was not licensed in NC and working under the GC license of one of their employees (something we were never told) [redacted] Homes is the GC and it is owned by Jerry P***Even *** bank was not told that our GC didn't own [redacted] HomesWe only discovered this after the sub-contractor who received $47000+ disappearedBRLC knows very well they agreed to these exceptions typed on the front of the contract but now they want to ignore thisWhen Jerry P [redacted] was asked by Donn D [redacted] of BRLC if he would see the project through to completion, he declinedWe have been unable to find contractor willing to complete the project for the money we agreed to with BRLCAND BRLC HAS NOT COMPLETED 90% OF THEIR WORKEDTHIS WAS VERIFIED YESTERDAY BY AN INDEPENDENT INSPECTOR WHO WENT TO THE SITE YESTERDAY AT THE REQUEST OF THE BANK AFTER WE CHALLENGED THE FIRST INSPECTIONThis is the letter Donn D***, CFO of BRLC sent us saying Porter would not complete the projectIf they have nothing to do with the GC work, why is he sending the letter for his employee, Jerry P***?On Jul 25, 2017, at 10:AM, Donn D [redacted] < [redacted] .com> wrote:Good morning, I spoke with Jerry P [redacted] about the scope of work necessary to move this project forward and would recommend the following on our part: I am currently lining up an electrician and a plumber to complete the rough in for the upstairs bath I will have this complete by August This is our portion of the work needed to begin finishing the trim out of the interior of the home I am not sure where the HVAC rough in stands (not part of our scope of work), but if any of it needs to be done prior to the walls and ceiling being closed off, this would need to be completed by August also If the HVAC is not an issue, I will have our finish crew in beginning August If any HVAC work holds up our trim crew, the timing would be adjusted accordingly They trim crew will be able to complete the interior trim out by the end of that week I can then have the electrician and plumber back at the start of the week of August to complete the trim out for the interior of house BRLC can begin the porch and deck work once the footers are in place It will take us approximately weeks to complete that portion of the project This portion of the project’s timing is completely dependent on the timing of the footer installation which is not part of our scope of workAll of the above addresses the BRLC portion of the work, it does not address any work outside the scope of our original contract As I said, I have spoken with Jerry and while he is willing to help, he is not interested in entering into a contractual obligation for the completion of the homeShould you have any questions, please feel free to contact me I will proceed on this schedule as I have laid out to expedite this project from our standpointDonn

I read what is said ,PUT there is still trouble with the roof line -pitch to a 8-roof line at the bottom where the fascia is it should be the same height the 12-is about 2ft higher that is not the way it is on the drawings, there is a large hole on both sides at the bottom of the eve the back porch is not the way it is on the drawings –blueprints show a 2-not a 3- and getting into the trim of the windows [redacted] ***Purchasing/ QC ManagerAISC Fabricator [redacted] [redacted] [redacted] ***

***, the reponse to *** *** latest declination is as follows: There is a statement on the contract which says “refund of ten thousand ($***) dollars is guaranteed if a mortgage cannot be acquired resulting in a monthly payment of less than *** dollars”.
