Review: July 2013 I signed a contract to have solar panals installed on my house and was told it should be no more than 90 days. I called in October, November and December 2013 and was told it would be delayed again each time. I had to do a new contract in 2014 and they kept delaying it. In May 2014 they called and told me it would be July 2014 before they might get a contractor to install the pannels but could not guarentee it. The government incentives have changed and to switch companies would cost me. I contacted Sader Power and told them that I was not interested in using them for anything and told everybody that they were not a reliable company and to use other companies instead.Desired Settlement: It would be nice if another company would accept the contract I signed.

Regards,

Review: On June 18, 2013, I signed a contract with Red River Sola, LLC, operating as Sader Solar Power Company to install and maintain solar power panels at my home. Since that date the following has transpired: a representative came out to evaluate my roof and conducted a shade analysis. I was told I qualified for solar panels, sometime later another representative came out to measure my roof. There has been NO activity since then and its been five months since I signed the contract. I received a letter from Sader informing their customers that they were revamping their company, had to fire some employees and making us aware that these employees were poaching customers for their new solar company. This letter threw up a red flag for me as it made me wonder if they would be around to service my panels for the full 20 year contract period. I called them on November 11, 2013 at 2:34pm. I spoke with [redacted] and explained that because it had been close to five months and the panels had not been installed and I was leery about the solvency of the company, I wanted to cancel my contract. [redacted] simply stated, 'ok, I will let them know'. I asked her if I would receive anything in the mail indicating my contract was cancelled and she stated I would. She never mentioned anything about they company cashing the $250 check I had written on June 18, 2013 which was remitted as part of the "Smart Start Package" that stated in the contract, "your system will also be given priority in our installation queue." I called Sader on November 22, 2013 and left a voicemail requesting a full refund of my $250 as I never received the panels and certainly did NOT receive priority installation. Afterall, it has been five months and am I still don't have the panels. They are in default of the priority installation and I am not in breach of the contract. Please assist me in obtaining my refund. I have a copy of my contract and it does not state I have to pay the $250 if I cancel.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive my full $250 back.

Response:

Sader Power has recognized that Ms. [redacted] would like to cancel her contract. We will be canceling her contact and will be issuing a refund check within the next 2 weeks. Please allow us some time to process the cancelation.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 9813767, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Please let me know what my recourse is if I do not receive the refund within the 2 week timeframe they requested. Thanks for your assistance in this matter!

Review: signed contract with sader over year ago. no installation of solar panels. tried contacting company several times, no phone calls answered and company will not get back in touch with me. they did not live up to their end. would like to have contract cancelled, my 100 dollar deposit returned and return any tax credits they used so I can get my full tax credits if and when I decide to go with another company. [redacted] STREET [redacted] ###-###-####Desired Settlement: CONTRACT CANCELLED, REFUND OF DEPOSIT and REFUND of TAX CREDITS

Review: An agent from Sader Power contacted me by phone back in September of 2013. He came to my house and I signed the contract and gave him a check for $250. I was told that my house needed to be checked by shade analysis and I would have my panels installed before the end of 2013. I passed the analysis and waited for my panels to be installed. They were never installed. I have called the 3 #'s that I have for the company and all lead directly to a voicemail. I have left over 10 voicemails since November, when they cashed my $250 check. I have yet to receive a call back. I have also emailed them multiple times with no response. I have requested, through voicemail, that I would like a definate date for install. This has also not happened. If the check had not been cashed I would not be so irate. They have my money the least they could do is keep me informed. It is not a good way to do business.Desired Settlement: I would like a response to all of my messages and emails. I want a definate date for install. I would also like a promise from the company that they will handle the customer service issues in a better way. Once my panels are installed, it would be nice to be able to contact someone if there is a issue or problem. If these requests are too much for the company to adhere to, then I would like a full refund.

Response:

A Sader Power representative has reached out to Ms. [redacted] She will have a hard install date in the next couple of days.

Review: Signed contract with sader power for a 4.3 kwh solar system on August 24, 2013. I gave the saleman a check for a $100. As that time was told that it could take up to 3 months for system to be installed which I was fine with. On September 16, a shade analysis was done on my home, then on November 4th my check for the $100 was cashed by sader, so at that time I assumed that the system would be installed in the coming weeks. Since the 4th of november I have tried contacting Sader to get a date on installation, first I was told between the 6 and 8th of November which never happen. The last time I spoke with someone was the 25th of November at which time I was told they were waiting on permits from St. Charles parish. Since that time everytime I call it is a voicemail message saying to leave a message and someone will return my call, which has never happen. Again this morning I tried calling sader again to which I got the voice message. I then called my salesperson who told me that everyone had been let go several weeks ago and that the building on the Chef hwy was padlocked. After talking to him is when I decided to file a complaint with the Revdex.com.Desired Settlement: At present the only way I see that this is settled is by the following actions on my part. I am sending Sader power notice of Cancellation, since the tax credits with the state change at the 1st of the year and would like either myself or a new company of my choosing to be able to use them, since Sader is not replying to my messages I feel I have no other options available to me.

Business

Response:

Sader Power understands your request of cancelation and will be sending your refund back today.

Review: My system is not producing what I was told it would produce. My roof has not been repaired after the electrician drilled through it by accident. In addition to that it appears that if Sader Power is claiming a $19,500 system to the state and federal government to get tax incentives back. This surely appears to be a fraudulent claim since the cost of the system retails for less than $7000.00. From what I'm being told the system should have been twice the size than the one that was installed. Sader had my power bills when they told me it would reduce my usage by 1/3 on my high months. The salesman said the system would produce 1000 to 1500 kW, and it is only producing 600. If this is the best the system can produce it looks like it is going to cost me money.Desired Settlement: The roof needs to be repaired correctly and my system needs to be enlarged.

Business

Response:

Mr. [redacted] has agreed to enlarging his system to the standard 5.7KW that we are currently installing. This will require a new contract be signed, and of course, time for us to complete the addition for him.

The roof will be repaired per manufacture standards and pics supplied today.

Review: I signed up with Sader Power in October of 2013. I was also told my deposit check of $250 would not be cashed until the panels were ordered and prepared to be installed. The check was cashed within days of signing the contract. I was also told that the solar panels would be installed within 6 weeks and no later. I have called about every other month to inquire about when the panels would be installed and each time I was given an estimate of 1-2 weeks. I tried calling them again on Monday (4/21) and left a message for them to return my call, but have not heard from anyone.Desired Settlement: I want Sader to call me ASAP, I want my $250 returned with interest, and I want a notice in writing that the contract has been canceled with no further obligation.

Review: On july 22,2013 I gave sader power representative john smart $250.00 dollars for the installation of a solar panel system. It is December 9,2013 and nothing has been done at all. After numerous calls to sader I finally got to speak to a person on 12/03/2013 who told me her name was [redacted](if it's real). I told her that nothing has been done after taking my money and I wanted to know my status. Why has'nt anything been done on installation. She told me that the Historic Landmark Office denied my application for installation of solar panels but that sader is appealing this and that sader would get back with me as soon as they could. This sounded like a stall for more time tactic because three 3 months earlier I was told by sader rep. that applications were put in and everything passed and was on schedual. This was October 2013 I CALLED HISTORIC LANDMARK OFFICE OF NEW ORLEANS AND SPOKE TO Ms. [redacted] THE SAME DAY 12/03/13.Ms.[redacted] TOLD ME NOTHING HAS BEEN SUBMITTED ON MY HOME IN OVER A YEAR AND NOTHING BY SADER POWER. So we come to December and no one has spoken to me after I requested through e-mail and messages left on phone to sader Power. After reading the complaints of customers I decided to NOT HAVE PANELS INSTALLED AND WANT MY $250.00 BACK DUE TO NO RESPONSE AND HISTORY OF POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. A FACT NOTED BY THE Revdex.com. THEY TOOK MY MONEY AND WON'T TALK TO ME. SO I DO NOT WANT TO DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THEM BECAUSE OF THE FACTS STATED ABOVE. TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE I RESPECTFULLY REQUEST THAT THE Revdex.com TRY TO ASSIST ME IN GETTING MY MONIES BACK TO RESOLVE THIS PROBLEM. I DON NOT WANT SADER POWER TO INSTALL ANY PANELS ON MY HOME.PERIOD. I FEEL THAT I'M BEING RIPPED OFF.Desired Settlement: REFUND TO ME THE AMOUNT OF $250.00 DOLLARS ASAP AND ALSO DO NOT INSTALL ANY SOLAR PANELS ON MY HOME/TERMINATE CONTRACT.

Response:

Sader Power is in the process of canceling Mr [redacted]'s contact. The refund will take 1 to 2 weeks. Thank you.

Review: On 3/3/13 we signed a contract for the installation of solar power panels to be installed at [redacted].. Our salesman, [redacted] informed us that the process would be 3-4 months. On or about 8/1/13, I called my salesman to inform him that we had not been contacted for installation of panels. He said he would check with office and contact me later that day, never happened. On 8/15/13, called salesman again and warned him that I would contact the Revdex.com if this situation was not resolved. Again I was promised a call back the same day and again it never happened. On the following day an employee, [redacted], called back to inform me that the reason that we had not been contacted was that the phone # they had for us was disconnected, but that some one would contact us for scheduling the install during the beginning of the following week. Again, never happened.I had called the customer service # on contract & salesman's business card several times and all I got was a recording, upon which I left messages each time and again never got a response.Desired Settlement: I want my solar panels installed ASAP. Since they were promised to be installed before the worst part of the summer and am losing money every day they are not installed, I would like my payment of $250, which would have been recouped by now, to be applied to next years lease of panels.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Regards,

Dani Schreiber

My complaint was as much about poor communication as it was about getting my solar panels installed. Yes, my panels are installed and working but I would not have known this if I had not noticed that my clocks were blinking and after several days I checked and saw that the system was up and running. A "simple phone call" would have been great. There still is no communication between the office, my salesman and myself. This is the kicker, I received a call from my salesman telling me he had "great news", it would be 2-3 weeks before the system was installed, they were re-tooling to switch to a "better" 5.5 watt panel instead of the current 4.3 watt panel and that I would be one of the "first" to receive the "better" panels. I was flabbergasted and so was he when I told him that they were on the roof at that moment installing the "outdated" 4.3 system. If someone would have "communicated" to me that I had a choice to wait for the updated system I would of course have waited. So I feel that they still have not fixed the original complaint of "communicating" with their customers better and of course I would like to have the "better" 5.5 panels installed when the become available. I believe they reacted in a knee jerk kind of way, instead of really looking at the complaint and fixing it properly.

Review: On the Complaint type I could only mark one well we have more than one Contract Issues,Costumer Services Issues,Delivery Issues,Guarantee Issues. In Oct of 2013 we signed up with Sader Power to install solar panels on our home. The sales Reps we met with said by Jan we should have our panels,90 days from sign up is what they said... In Nov 2013 they cashed our check of $250.00 and we have not heard from them or had anything installed on our house. I still to this day call leave detailed messages and no one has returned our calls.Last person I spoke with was in Jan and said Feb we should have our panels they were waiting for permits well still nothing. This last time I called,a week ago no one answered the phone it was a machine I told them this same info name, address, phone number and when we signed, when our expected date was and even said we would like our panels or our money back. I have a copy of the paid check from the bank from Nov 2013 that they cashed. We know that they have been fined and operating without a license for the state of Louisiana but they were to honor contracts they already signed Well they are not honoring nothing on our part. The only thing that was done was a roof test around Nov/Dec of 2013. Me and my husband are at a loss we don't know what to do all we do know is they took our money and haven't heard from them since !!!!Desired Settlement: We would like to have our panels but I guess not through Sader Power since they have not held up their end of the contract. Also how are we to know that they are not getting credit for our panels and we don't even have them !!! We want our money back !!!!!!! I think Sader should also give back to those who have been put off and lied too!!! Thank you

At this time, I have been contacted directly by Sader Power Enterprises LLC regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[Your Answer Here]

Never Contacted Directly From Sader Another company Handling There Contracts Now Has Called To See If We Were Still Interested In The Panels . So We Are Hoping This Company Honors The Contract We Had With Sader Power .

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Sincerely,

Review: I signed a contract in August of 2013. I have received nothing in return on this contract since. I have contacted Sader at least 4 times in the past 6 months. I have been given nothing but excuses and the run around about when my installation would take place. The last call I made was in early January 2014, at that time I was told I would be contacted during the third week of February, it's now Thursday of the fourt week of February and I have not been contacted. What can be done about this? This really makes me think about what the service level of this company will be .Desired Settlement: Have Sader reply ASAP with a result.

Business

Response:

A Sader Power representative will call the customer today to schedule an installation date.

Review: I was told my electric bill would drop by $100 every month, they almost guaranteed that would happen. First of all, it took them more than 6 months to install my panels after I signed the contract. When I received my first bill after the panels were activated my bill was actually cut in half (dropped $71) and I was pretty excited. Every single month since that first month my bill has been its oringinal amount. It hasn't dropped at all. I've had a lot of trouble even getting them on the phone to talk about this problem; weeks will go by before someone answers the phone, at Sader or Griswold. Someone eventually answered and they sent someone to check on it and said the system was working properly. Yet my bill was still high. After several more months of a high bill, I tried calling again, and again couldn't get anyone to answer the phone for several weeks, and couldn't even leave a message because their voicemail box was full. When I finally did get someone on the phone he said my system was fine and that he didn't need to come to my house to check it out, and didn't know what else to tell me. All he kept saying was "if it's cloudy, if it's cloudy....", and I proceeded to tell him that it hadn't been cloudy every day for the last year. So for a year now, I've had these panels and a high electric bill, and also have started paying the monthly maintenance fee. The whole reason I got the panels was because I was told I'd be paying less for electricity ($100 less) and giving back to the environment. Seemed like a no brainer. Except now I'm paying more (bill plus maintenance fee) and am very unhappy about the product and their service.Desired Settlement: Unsure how to have the matter resolved. Perhaps if they hadn't told me that my bill was going to drop $100, I wouldn't have gotten the panels in the first place. They provided me with an expectation of a much lower bill and my expectations have not been met. Not by a long shot. Seems like false advertisement on their part, which is illegal, right?

Review: Sader will not return any phone calls. They installed the solar panels and I was told all was turned on, and have seen no difference in my Entergy bill. It has been over 3 months since they were installed. It has been over 6 months since I signed up. I gave them my billing info to draft payment out of my account, and they've never charged it. I have called every day for weeks and they will NOT return my call.Desired Settlement: I want someone to tell them they need to call their customer back or they will have another complaint against them. I want them to come get their panels off of my house unless they will turn them on and call me back.

Consumer

Response:

At this time, I have been contacted directly by Sader Power Enterprises LLC regarding complaint ID 10129949, however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Someone contacted me and asked me to send him my Entergy bills to see why they weren't recording my solar panel. I did, and the representative has never gotten back with me. I spoke to another person a month later who said she would have him call me, and still nothing.
