Sader Power Enterprises Reviews (60)

Review: I signed a contract in September of 2013 for Sader Power to install my solar panels. The original date of installation was supposed to be in November of 2013. It is July of 2014 and my solar panels are still not installed. In February they charged my account the $100 for the new Entergy box. I called and spoke with a representative in early March and was told that I was in the next group of homes to be installed. I told her that if the solar panels weren't installed by the end of March I wanted a refund. Here it is July, and my panels are still not installed. I tried calling last week to leave a message, and no one still has not gotten back with me. I am tired of the run around. If they were not ready to install the panels, they should not have charged my account. It is almost a year later, and I still have no solar panels.Desired Settlement: I no longer wish to do business with them. I want my money back and contract terminated.

Regards,

Review: Complete failure to deliver the product in a timely manner. Original contract was signed June 18th (!!!!)and depost of $250.00 given. Installation to be made in 6-8 weeks. Numerous attempts to contact with no return calls (same thing as every other letter on this site). Wild stories about investors and law changes and product issues from [redacted] (Customer Service Manager) and Shane Powell (service representative). Install dates broken and rescheduled only to be rescheduled again. I want my contract voided and my $250.00 refunded.Desired Settlement: My contract voided and my $250.00 refunded (preferably with interest).

Griswold Power was notified on Jan 24th to cancel her contract, Send her the refund due, and send a letter releasing her tax credits back to her for her property. Client should be in receipt at this time.

Review: We had these installed in 2012, we met with several representatives from Sader. We were told that our electric bill would be reduced by half and in fact could be reduced further than that considering the small home we had (less than 1200 sq ft). Since installation we have seen no improvement in the bill. It is still running towards $130-$150 and more in summer. In addition I have to pay a lease purchase for the panels of $35/month, which means I am paying more than I ever did for electricity. I have complained numerous times to Sader and spoken to Mr. [redacted] personally. They sent a repair person out about a year ago to see if anything was loose or not connected properly. I have had to struggle to pay the electricity when I was specifically told that the bill would be reduced by half or more. This has never happened...not once in two years. I just want out of this contract because everything they said was a lie.Desired Settlement: A refund of all the lease payments for every month the bill has not been reduced. Also, termination of the contract.

Review: I have called Sader Power numerous time and they have failed to return a single call. I have logged 22 phone calls into the company in 4 months without a single person ever returning a phone call. The reason I keep calling them is the fact that since installing my Solar Panels, my electric bill keeps increasing. I have severe questions about the product and after the pitiful customer service I have received, I question their ability to provide any time of service. I would not recommend this company to anyone.Desired Settlement: I need to have someone come onsite and prove to me that this Solar system works. Verify that the usage that I am getting is to be expected and IF this is the truly the best that the product can offer, then I want the entire system removed completely. if it is working as expected, then they are partaking of false advertisement.

Review: Around the end of May 2013 I had put in my information for Sader Power to contact me to inquire about getting solar panels installed on my house. After about 4 weeks time of not receiving any response from Sader, I finally had a salesperson come to my house to sign paperwork. After signing all the paperwork with [redacted], the salesperson, he had informed me that within a week or 2 I would have a shade analysis done to make sure I would have enough sunlight, after that about a month I should have a date for my panels to be installed. After a months time had gone by I had not heard any more information for as to when my solar panels would be installed. I contacted sader once again and they kept saying that they would call me back with more information. After about 3 weeks of calling and getting no information, I had a rep inform me that they were moving and installation would continue after they had moved. The rep told me it would be apx 2 weeks for the move. I started to call again after the 2 weeks to find out when I could expect my panels to be installed and they started to now say that they were waiting on permits from my parish office. I had informed the rep that the permits don't take more than 2 days and they should have my panels installed by now. But now they tell me that they are getting caught up and would be getting my name on the list for the next batch of installs. But have no idea as to when the next batch would be done.Desired Settlement: I would like for my panels to finally be taken care of and installed and operational after waiting for months on end and endless amounts of calls with no contact back from sader power.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 9817036, and find that this resolution is not a best response but I have recieved my refund but am still not fully satisfied on the answer that sader provides. The company put on their facebook page during the holidays to call their customer service number if there were emergencies but no one would even be there to answer those calls either. Sader needs to be more up front and completly clear to their customers. Not just say some line they are supposed to yet it not be a true fact. Sader will not get any references from me or my family

Regards,

Review: We signed up for solar panels sometime in 2012. It took them almost a year to install them. The installation crew drilled a hole on the wrong side of the house and through our wall inside. and from the time they left, nothing went as promised. It took many months to get the system turned on and we never had ONE bill that was reduced. Not one. I began contacting them in July of 2013 and although I was promised someone would come and take care of it, that never happened. They sent one guy who said the system was working. After 4 more months of no changes in our energy bill, I started emailing again and even provided Sader with several months of bills. I never got a response. Finally, I phoned in January 2014 and was connected to [redacted] who said he was the Director of Customer Service and would call me back in an hour. He didn't call back, but send an email and a guy named [redacted] (not sure if correct spelling). [redacted] didn't make an appointment, just showed up at the house one day and I wasn't there. He told my son something about the month of December might not result in a significant bill change because the days were shorter. Just crazy. Didn't do an assessment or check into why we have had no savings in our bill. He left me a voice mail stating the same silliness about December and said I could call him or he would call me back. I left two detailed voice mails for him and he never returned my calls. No technicians, no explanations why our bills haven't changed, no follow up. I have 7 emails that include copies of our bills demonstrating their consistent empty promised and complete lack of concern or follow through. The last one is from [redacted], Director of Customer Service.Desired Settlement: I want a working solar panel system with significantly reduced energy bills as promised. Our bills have not changed at all. I want every monthly payment for the last 10 months that they system hasn't worked refunded. And I want the owner, [redacted], who has a Michigan address to be contacted about his company's shady, uncaring and ineffective business practices.

Review: A contract was signed for the installation of solar panels at the address previously provided, along with a $100 deposit. The solar panels were supposed to be installed within 6-8 weeks. After several months passed without installation of the panels I visited the local office in alexandria. Upon arriving a sign was seen in the window that said the business had shut down and to call a specified number regarding any questions. I contacted the number and explained that I had not yet received the panels that I put a deposit down on. The person then said they would research the matter and contacts shortly thereafter. I have still yet to receive the panels or a refund of my deposit and no one has contacted me regarding the matter.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of my $100 deposit.

Regards,

Review: The Solar panels DO NOT save me money whatsoever. My electricity bill is literally the same as it was before I got the panels installed. I can never pay the $45 a month because my bill is still $225+ a month.Desired Settlement: I ask that Sader come and see what the problem is. I haven't saved any money on my electric bill since I got the panels. It's the same, or even more. I've taken steps to insure a lesser bill but I get nothing.

Review: I first got into contact with Sader Power in June of 2013. After a lengthy process I was given a consultation followed by the presentation of a contract in which I agreed to a two hundred and fifty dollar deposit towards the installation and maintenance of my solar panel array. It is now March of 2014 and I have no had my solar array installed and any communication with Sader, when I am actually able to get someone to talk to me, is filled with more empty promises and excuses about an array I have still not recieved. They were quick, however, to take their two hundred and fifty dollars from me for work as yet undone.Desired Settlement: I would like verification that any contract we entered into is now void and the refunding of my two hundred and fifty dollars.

Review: I signed a contract Oct. 2013 and my check for 250.00 was cashed 10-22-14 and have not had my solar panels installed. They were supposed to come out 1-18-14,1-30-14 because of weather cancelled, 2-14-14 materials didn't arrive,2-27-14 Mardi Gras. I have called several times and can't get anyone to call back or come out. They now say they are waiting on their license.Their phone was out of order last week and it was working 4-25-14 and I left 2 messages for someone to call back.I would like to have my panels installed before June or I would like to be refunded my 250.00 and void the contract because of none delivery of services. No one called me back and when you ask to speak to a higher up, you are given the run around. [redacted],Desired Settlement: I would like to have my panels installed by June 2014 if they have their proper license, if not I would like a refund of my 250.00 check and cancel the contract.

Review: Took deposit check of $250.00 and never provided services.... have made numerous attempts to contact the company..... NO ANSWER!!!Desired Settlement: I want my money back!!!

Review: We contacted the company in July of 2013. About a month later the sales rep showed up and we signed a contract. A month later a shade analysis was completed and installation was confirmed. It has now been 6 months and we have not had any installation. I have left multiple messages, spoken to people saying permits were pulled, and transferred to voice mail accounts.Desired Settlement: I want the system installed, activated, and the contract honored.

Regards,

Review: Signed paperwork and gave them a check in the amount of $100.00, which cleared my account on Nov 4, 13 to have solar panels installed on the property in July 2013. My check was cashed finally the panels and meter were installed right before Thanksgiving 2013, but as of today entergy has not installed the new Net meter. I called Entergy and they can't install the meter without a permit. Sader power has not filed the paperwork with the City of New Orleans to issue the permit. I have called the company numerous times since the panels were installed to get a status on the permit but only get their answer machine and no returned phone calls. I called the sales rep and he told me he got laid off.Desired Settlement: I would like to have the installation completed in accordance with the paperwork signed.

Response:

Sader Power pulled your building permit ([redacted]) on 12/31/13. We will be pulling the electrical permit shortly as well. With that being said we should be installing your system between January 10 - 17. Thank you for being patient.

Review: I signed up with Sader Power to have solar panels installed on my home 07/30/2013, they initially told me it would be done in 4 weeks, after 4 weeks passed I called to find out ETA for install and they told me they were moving to a new warehouse because the old one was inadequate due to size and it would be an additional 3 weeks before they would be able to start back up installing panels. They cashed a deposit check 08/14/2013 of $100.003 weeks go by and I call them AGAIN for an ETA and they told me 1st week of November, I waited until the 1st day of the 2nd week of November and they pushed it back yet AGAIN to the last week of November. What kind of business stays in business by taking people's money and only get in return a bunch of excuses why the job can't move forward?I'm fed up with these mns and will take them to small claims court if they don't refund my deposit. I only wished I had researched a little better in advanced because I would have NEVER contracted them after seeing the numerous other people with the same problem with them.Desired Settlement: Refund of $100.00 deposit.

Sader Power has canceled Mr. [redacted]'s contact and is processing her refund. Please allow a week or two for the refund to be processed and sent back to you.

Review: Prior to signing a contract with Sader, [redacted], agent with Sader, promised us a $150 - $200 credit each month with the solar panels. We had the panels installed. After the first month, our electric bill increased. A technician came out to our house, and informed us that they weren't installed correctly. Supposedly, they were fixed. At that time, the technician, whose name was [redacted], (I don't know his last name), advised us we would have a 60% reduction in our electricity bill. Again, when we received our electric bill for the month, there were no savings at all. I called Sader and spoke with [redacted] who advised me that both of the agents we had previously spoken with were let go for misrepresenting the company. [redacted] said that the contract says the panels will save money, but doesn't specify an amount. Now, I am tied into a contract for the next six years, whereby I have to pay Sader $40 a month for panels which aren't saving any moneyDesired Settlement: At this point, I want the contract cancelled, I want the panels removed, and I want my roof repaired to the state it was in before the panels were installed.

Business

Response:

Ms. [redacted],

We at Sader Power are extremely sorry and apologetic for the previous claims. In some cases our system is able to save a large percentage of the homeowner's electric bill. So far as of yesterday your system has produced 310kw which is an average of 19.375kw a day. So going by this month's average in 30 days 581.25kw is an estimated production. On behalf of Sader power we would like to offer an addendum to your contract and change your payments to $15 dollars a month for the same term.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 9726762, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Sader Power offered to lower my monthly payments to $15 per month for the remainder of the contract. I am rejecting this offer because I am saving little to nothing on the solar panels. I propose that they waive the monthly payment completely for the remainder of the contract (six years). I will keep the solar panels on my roof, and Sader can keep the tax credits they have received on my behalf. I would like to know something on this offer as soon as possible.

Regards,

Business

Regards,

Review: I signed a contract with Sader Power on August 8,2013, after a contract signed the year before was lost. A letter was sent to me stating the company had moved but would continue installing panels in November 2013 . I have heard nothing from the company since then. Several attempts have been made by me to contact the company by leaving a message without receiving a return call from the company. I finally spoke with someone on January 10,2013 after over 20 attempts. They informed me that I was on the list but informed me they had no idea about when this would take place. If I had not contacted the company I would hear nothing from this company after a contract that was signed over 5 months ago. I am trying to find out if this is a company in good standing as they have all of my personal information and has already claimed it was misplaced a year ago. I was told after this mishap I would be first on the list and have yet to have panels installed on my home.Desired Settlement: I would like to know if this company is still installing solar panels and if in fact my contract is still being considered and when I will hear from them concerning this matter.

Review: On September 23, 2013 I signed an agreement for the Installation of Solar Panels along with a 100.00 deposit. I received a phone in November from a Justine to schedule an installation date. My calls were never returned. I tried calling the business; I was left on hold until the phone disconnected, when the call went through and a message left, it was never returned, so I sent an email that I have yet to recieve a reply. In early January I received a call from a [redacted] to schedule an installation on the 1/13/14; he called to cancel and set up new installation date. I returned his call but he's never returned the call. When the number to the business or his number is dial the call goes straight to voicemail.... and the cycle continues. My concern is that the representative who initiated the agreement is no longer with the company and my SSN was on the agreement. He called be in late October informing me that Sader was dooping their customers and they have a back log of over 6 months. That representative told me he is with another company. I am also concerned that Sader Power may try to receive the energy credit using my SSN.What recouse do I have?Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of the 100.00 or a guarantee that the original agreement is honored, installation is scheduled and done on date promised, a 35.00 monthly fee for 20 years and no additional charges/fees assessed.

Business

Response:

Due to lack of installation of their Solar Array clients requested cancellation of their contract and a refund of the 100.00 they paid in advance for maintenance payments

On February the 11th 2014 Griswold Power was notified to return clients refund along with a letter releasing them from their contract and returning all tax credits back

To them. Clients should be in receipt at this time.

Review: An agreement for solar panel installation was executed January 27, 2014 for a tentative installation date of April 2014. The company was halted for installations in March for not complying with proper state licenses. As of May, my contract was still active and installation date was unknown. Throughout the month of August, I have attempted to reach Sader Power regarding the status of my contract and have not received any response from the company, or the representative that I executed the contract with. I would like for my contract to be voided without any penalty.Desired Settlement: I would like to be removed from the contract with Sader Power without any penalties.

Regards,

Review: Contractor took deposit to install solar panels on home on July 23,2013. A week later a representative climbed on my roof to inspect the clearances and functionality of the roof. He stated all was well and they would be here soon to install the equipment. We have heard nothing further from the contractor. We did receive a letter dated October 12, 2013, that stated they were having problems due to employees who were trying to steal their business. WE tried to contact someone in the organization in early November and have been calling regularly, yet we are only receiving auto-call responses and no one returns our calls. There will be a reduction in the reimbursement that the government will be supplying as of 2014, so time is of the essence.Desired Settlement: If they are not working her any longer, will they terminate my contract and return the deposit so I can proceed with another contractor to install solar panels. I am concerned about the reduction of the government funds to install these and if I will have to sue them to regain this assistance.
