I’m terribly sorry that the windshield we installed on your Chrysler in July of 2013, has developed a significant crackIn most cases, cracks due to stress on the windshield occur within the first days after installationTherefore, when our technician inspected the damage
on September 23, there was a lot of discussion back and forth with his managerThe Safelite manager would need to inspect the windshield himself to determine if there was any point of impact that caused the crack
On October 3, a member of our Executive Service Team attempted to reach you by phone and left you a message to call to schedule an appointment in the Seattle, WA locationThe manager would then be able to inspect the windshield and we would be prepared to replace the windshield either under our national lifetime warranty at no cost to you or as new damage under a claim with your insurance companyIf this is determined to be new damage, the replacement would be subject to any deductible you have on your comprehensive automobile insurance coverage
Again, I apologize for any inconvenienceWe need to be able to verify if this is truly damage that is covered under warranty or if something hit the windshield and caused the damagePlease give us a call at 1-866-*** and a representative will be happy to schedule an appointment for you in our Seattle Safelite locationWe look forward to being able to assist you and we greatly appreciate your business

I’m very sorry about the issues regarding the windshield replacement on your Ford Mustang and the delay in replying to your concernsWe located the work under a different first name, phone number and email address and it took a while to match it up
Regarding the damaged moldings, it is unfortunate that this occurred and we are working to get the parts and you will be contacted when they arrive to get them installedOver time the moldings themselves and the fasteners can become brittle and more easily damagedWe will be replacing these at no cost to you
I checked with the Greenville, SC location and when our technician removed the damaged windshield significant rust was discoveredUnfortunately, the rust was not visible prior to the windshield being removedThis is a rare occurrence but when it does happen, we aren’t able to reinstall the old glass nor are we able to install new glass over the rustOur guidelines require that the rust be removed before glass can be installedWindshield glass installed over level rust, can create a safety and liability hazardIf the rusted area was simply treated and the glass installed over it the area will continue to rust and will not allow the windshield to maintain a proper sealWe will not agree to reimburse you for any additional amount you paid to a glass provider that performed an installation that according to our guidelines should not have been done and is a safety risk

I’m very sorry for the billing error for the back glass replacement on your Chevrolet TraverseOur records show that within hours of the charge being billed to the incorrect credit card, that transaction was credited back in our systemWe then charged the correct card for the jobA representative at the local Safelite shop requested a copy of your bank statement showing any overdraft charges caused by the errorAt this point we show no record of receiving that information
If you could please provide a bank statement that reflects overdraft charges due to a transaction with Safelite, we would be happy to reimburse those charges to you

I’m very sorry that rust has developed in area around or under the windshield of your Ford FOur records show that you are scheduled for a no-cost warranty appointment on Thursday March 11, 2015, to allow Safelite to inspect the issue
Once we have a chance to look at
the vehicle, a determination will be made as to whether the rust was caused by the windshield installation that we performed in April of We will then advise you what the next step would be

I’m very sorry about the peeling upholstery on the interior of your Land Rover Range RoverAttached are pictures of the area indicating that we did not break anything on the interior of your vehicleThe peeling of the fabric is due to the age of the vehicle
and wear and tearThe Safelite manager has advised you that if the side moldings were broken or not installed properly, we would replace them under warranty
You do have a warranty on the windshield with Safelite for as long as you own your vehicleThe warranty includes air leaks, water leaks, glass damage not associated with a new impact and moldings that are broken or were not installed properlyWe greatly appreciate your business

You have not called me one time to say when you are coming out. I was promised by pm Saturday weeks time. You are running out of time. I will be forced to dispute the cc charges at 4:pm on Saturday

determine why we didn’t receive anything prior to March 20, As soon as we did receive it, we forwarded it to be processed for paymentI assure you this is not a usual occurrence and we did not intentionally delay paying your invoice

I filed a complaint against Safelite Autoglass on 7/In the final message, Safelite had said that they would be sending me the rest of the payment owed to meNothing has arrived to my house & my complaint is not closed through the Revdex.com.
Is there anyway to reopen my complaint? I'm very unhappy about thisThe only reason I didn't further comment was to wait for the check to arrive.

I’m very sorry that the repair to the windshield of your Cadillac Escalade has cracked furtherWhile we do have a high success rate with our repair process, there is no way to tell how the already damaged glass will respond to the repair attempt

provide a money back guarantee with our repairsWhat this means is that if a repair fails or is visually displeasing, Safelite will refund the paying party for the amount of the repair and replacement will be subject to any comprehensive deductible on your auto insurance policy or it would be out of pocketAccording to your correspondence, there was some confusion regarding Geico paying for the windshield repairAttached is a copy of the invoice that Geico paid on March 26, I have also attached a copy of our warranty

I’m very sorry that the door handle on your Toyota Avalon broke when our technician opened the doorOur records show that we ordered the outer door handle so that we could replace it for youWhen we attempted to do so, there were additional parts for the interior door
handle and inside the door panel that were worn or damaged and not related to our installationYou were going to obtain those parts and we would install them for you
We have accepted responsibility for replacing the outer door handle as a courtesyIt is our belief that any other damage is due to age and wear and tearAt this point we haven’t received any estimates or statements from a dealer to indicate that we should accept responsibilityIn order to even consider that possibility we would need a diagnostic from a dealer on letterhead stating that our technician did something to cause the damages

I am rejecting this response because:I understand there refund policy but I got the chip repaired because I don't make much money and couldn't afford a new windshield which I still can't affordNow because of there so called repair failing I have to send my money to replace my windshield now when I shouldn't have had to because there repair should have lasted a lifetimeThat is not fair to me in any wayI only make a month and most of that goes to my bills I am a farm worker and can't afford to get tickets because my windshield is cracked and spreading

technician included a picture of the impact point and the crack in the windshield with his inspection resultsI have attached the picture to show the impact point

I’m very sorry that during the attempt to repair the windshield on your Kia Soul that the windshield cracked outAs you are already aware damaged glass is very unpredictable and there is a small chance this may occur during any repair attemptYour frustration is understandable since
your insurance provider waives your deductible if the repair is successful and your deductible applies if the windshield requires replacementGoing from no out of pocket cost to being responsible for your $deductible is not a pleasant thought
