This place is awful and Used Car Manager will scam you with empty promisesI bought a fairly new Jeep [redacted] and it was Certified, at least that is what I thoughtGot it home and realized the driver door panel had been replaced with the wrong door? Why was door replaced if it certified and clean CarFax? I was told by salesperson it would be fixed and handled, only after I debated Safford explanation of a defectYeah, right someone purchased a 50k dollar car new and was ok with un matching door, seriously! Used Car Manager told me the panel was out of stock and did not know when he will have a replacementBut I had done my homework and there were plenty available, Sales Manager did not like he was caught in a lie and acted like he had a cell call and fled the scene never to be seen againThe Service Manger got involved and said he would find one and resolve the issue to satisfy meI waited weeks to today and the Service Manager called, said he had found it, but the Used Car Manager would not approve him to buy it and they would not be fixing it! Safford Dodge Fredericksburg is the reason used car sales people have a bad nameIf they qualify this as a certified car, then it must just need to run and have wheelsThe Sales Manager is not a shining star with customer satisfaction and Safford Dodge must have very low standards in their hiring to have him employed thereI am out of pocket now to have the door ordered and installed on a vehicle that was deemed certifiedI only hope that the clean Carfax was not altered as well

To whom it may concern,Ms [redacted] brought her vehicle into us on January of 20twith 290,milesbecause her vehicle was leaking antifreezeThe technician pressured tested the systemand found anti freeze leaking from the radiator and the water pumpWhen the technicianwas removing the radiator he saw that the condenser was leaking alsoSo the customerwas quoted for replacement of the radiator, water pump and condenserThis resolved thecustomer's issuesThen on April of w1th295,miles she brought the vehicleto us stating that the air conditioning was not workingThe technician performed hisdiagnoses and verified that the air conditioning compressor was leakingThe customerrefused the repairs, we did not charge the customer any diagnoses feeWe could set upan appointment and show the customer where the air compressor is leaking if that wouldhelp solve the customer's issuesIf any you have any further questions please feel free tocontact me.Thank you

We have issues with various out of state tag work, we are in a Military areatag work is a state by state quagmire, many times varies even within that particular stateSuch as in this case, our computer system is set by state, in [redacted] a credit is given for the trade amount reducing the taxable totalIn this case however the trade was not registered in [redacted] previously, it was registered in [redacted] which changes the credit, ( we were unaware of that)However in an e mail to us [redacted] explained that being that she was registering a car for the first time in [redacted] she would receive a full credit of % of the taxable totalWe as a dealer could not apply for that credit nor did we know that this was [redacted] first registration within the state.I do agree there should have been better communication between us and [redacted] during the registration process and after we received her tagsTherefore I would accept [redacted] offer of a refund of [redacted] I hope that will bring the matter to a close [redacted] tags were sent out today via [redacted] and a tracking number was providedI will also send a check for the agreed upon amount with [redacted] acceptance Thank you, Kevin R [redacted] GM Safford CJDR Tell us why here

Revdex.com:Having reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , this proposed action has been determined to NOT resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the reviewed offer appear below Replacing condenser did not resolve issues on 1/7/Issues were actually created by Safford DCJ when they replaced the condenserThe Winter was unusually long and frigid with lots of snowI had no occasion to use AC but only heat and defrostAfter 1/7/the defroster never workedWindows would only fog so defrost was unusableOn 4/Robb [redacted] informed me AC assists defroster to clear windows after I'm told the compressor is leakingPrior to to 1/7/defroster/ was working just fineAfter 1/7/repairs the defroster NOT functioningConclusion: Safford did something to cause AC system to malfunction as evidenced by failed defroster [redacted] has offered to show me compressor leakage when another certified mechanic found line wouldn't hold refrigerant and compressor not the issueWhy not offer to set up an appointment to return my defrost/AC system to working condition rather than prove my automobile needs MORE expensive repairs? Also, Mr***, the fact that the vehicle has 250K+ mileage makes no difference if the vehicle has been properly maintainedThis vehicle has performed in an exemplary fashion until her first repair at Safford DCJ in the Fall of Cordially, [redacted] ***

We did have to put that vehicle on hold or not for re-sale, the vehicle was placed on line immediately after being tradedWhen we put it in the shop for inspection we found the truck did not have the required catalytic convertors for VaState Inspection, hence we would not and could not have the
vehicle listed for retail sale.We do apologize for any inconvenience this miscommunication has caused, I would offer that we are trying to find the converters for the vehicle, if we are successful we will call you first before offering the vehicle to the general public.Thank you and Respectfully,Kevin R***

Based on the Safford response, it is clear that they overcharged on the diag fee As seen in the 'MESSAGE FROM BUSINESS', the diag fee should have been ***, while on the invoice it shows $*** (see attached)Furthermore, if the repairs were explained clearly, we would have expressed concern at that time and refused this exorbitant amount for hoses Again, this was the repair of two hoses as shown in the link We were led to believe the extent of problem was beyond hoses, such as radiator or heater core The agent could have simply shown the two hoses and said this is what we are replacing So again, charging over $*** for hose replacement was deceitful and unwarranted.***

the vehicle came in for leaking fluid. found water pump leaking. customer has a *** deductible and the customers aftermarket warranty would not pay the full amount of the repair labor. So the customer had to pay their *** deductible and the remainder of the labor. After
we replaced the water pump the technician noticed a noise coming from the engine. We called the customer's warranty company and they stated that the customer has to authorize the diag charge for the engine noise. the customer refused pairs at this point. We were unable to test drive the vehicle before the water pump was replaced because of the severity of leak. We are only following the customer's warranties procedures and have explained this to the customer. thank you*** ***
