They recently sent us Fee purchase option again, saying Lease Hold value is depreciating, We didn't buy when then offered us a fee for $400,000 back in 2018 as it's too much! Why do we buy a fee for that mount while our neighbor is selling fee simple unit in our building for $450,000? If we bought the fee for $400,000, our unit would cost over $700,000! The building is old and nobody buys it for that price. OMG.

The current bank assessed land value is $56,000. That they are charging leaseholders the total term (lease end 2049) amount for $400,000.

And we still don't get why they send us the mail in the middle of pandemic. We lost jobs, etc and can't even pay mortgage. Everybody has financial hardship.

This is terrible!
