It is not a case of misrepresentation but rather a customer ordering the wrong item. Customer has returned the merchandise and we have refunded the customer less the shipping and processing fees incurred to ship the merchandise. The customer does not seem to accept that he is responsible for those expenses.

Mr. [redacted] called your phone number  [redacted] to make an appointment for installation of the wheel, basket and wheelie bar on the scooter at your house and your wife advised him that you would call him back so set time for today. To whom it may concern. The charger in question was poorly represented. When I typed in the model I needed the only one shown was the one I ordered because what was shown looked exactly like what I needed.. You could not discern what type of connection it had because of poor quality photo and no discription or  specs, except that it was for the xb model scooter. Most of these chargers work on other scooters. If the picture had shown the connecting end I would have seen it was the wrong one and would not have ordered it.  I want my full refund. What is this credit card processing expense?. I used my money to send the misrepresented device back. They did not even offer to send one that would work, quote "said thats all we have".

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  
I do not accept this response since the business made the error.  I had given them the part number off my original part when ordering, and was sent the wrong part.  Since the error was on their part, I would like a replacement part or a refund.  I had called to try to resolve this issue and was unable to. Regards,

It is worth to mention that we only sell new scooters. If we ever sold a used or re-manufactured scooter we would have that declaired on the website and made it known to the customer to be the case.
Even after we had to hire a technician to go to the customers house to make sure the scooter is fully assembled and working well, it appears that the customer simply wants to create the impression that we have not done our part.
This appears to be a case of buyer remorse and we are not sure that the customer is ready to accept any resolution.

Although the the Scooter was completely assembled and inspected, the following issues need to be addressed to resolve this complaint:   1. The rear basket that was installed had a broken weld on the top lid that needs to be replaced. A temporary fix was made by the by Mr [redacted] using a plastic tie to hold the metal together.  A picture of this defect was sent it to the company.   2. There was no card with the serial number of this scooter that shows the date of manufacture so that it can be registered with the manufacture to insure that the 3 year warranty by the manufacture is in effect.  
3. The inspection plate under the scooter's seat that is stamped by the manufacture only goes up to 2011. If this is the actual manufacture date then this scooter is not new and  would not be eligible for manufacture warranty.   4. Since ScooterCatalog.com  is not an authorized dealer, I will only accept proof that they obtain from the manufacture that the scooter that was sold to me is New and Not Re-manufactured.

How is the basket different from the one on the Scooter and why are you not able to use it on the scooter? Either of the baskets can be mounted on the same place, behind the seat with no additional hardware required.

Attached please find the invoice.  Unfortunately there is no price on the invoice.  I can find my credit card receipt, if you need that, too.
