I have reviewed the consumer's complaint. I show the consumer was accident on June 18, 2014. In an effort to get State Farm their money back it took the consumer almost two years to repay what was owed on this claim. Since NSBI was not the one who suspended the...

consumer license, NSBI sent the release to State of IL. as this is the state where the consumer lives. Once it had been determined the license was suspended in GA. The new release was sent to the state. At this point the release has been sent and NSBI has no control how long the state will take to release the consumer license.

In an effort to help Ms. [redacted] we have made attemptsto contact her insurance carrier. I have taken this opportunity to review the complaint as well as the call in question. I would like to point out under the FDCPA we are not allow to leave the name of the company nor the person we are trying to contact on a recorder. This is the law we are required...

to follow. While our recording show we did ask for a partial address verification, the consumer refused. We are required by law to verify the person whom we have on the phone is the correct person. If the consumer refuses to verify, we can't go further as to why we are calling. This is for the protection of the consumer.
At this point we have closed the account that is in the consumer name with the same address as on the complaint. We will no longer make any attempt to contact the consumer.

I have taken the time to review the file. To date, NSBI has had no contact with the consumer. I show we have reached her answering machine, but never had a actual conversation with the consumer. At this time I have closed the file back to our client.

I have taken the time to review the file and talk with the employees. The employees have followed the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). NSBI rec'd the consumer dispute over the phone. We have been in contact with our client and requested validation. All...

collection efforts have cease. Per our contract with our client, we are not allowed to give out the person name and their direct phone. As to the reporting on the credit file, the account has been documented as disputed. Once the validation has been rec'd it will be forwarded to the consumer. No further collection efforts will be made on this account while waiting for the validation.

National Service Bureau was notified that Dr. [redacted] is represented with legal counsel and we have since been in contact with her attorney providing to them the documentation regarding her account.

Ms. [redacted] has a personal business matter in our office and the necessary documentation has been sent to her, her account will be updated once the account has been financially resolved
