I am rejecting this response because:I am sorry, but you are not answering the question and point. Its not only about $150 vs $500, its about when you did a repair but the repair was not satisfactory. If I bring my car to the shop and pay for the repair, but the issue is still not fixed, then I have a right to get it fixed. I am asking for you to perform the repair that was promised, and the damage that was caused to be taken care off.Regards,

Secure Home Warranty has refunded the customer as of 02/01/2017, per the Terms of Agreement

I am rejecting this response because:The original call in June 2016 was cancelled by me as it turned out it  wasnt the water softner, it was my  sprinkler system that vibrated thru the pipes. It was not the Softner, so the statement that I waited till break down was totally incorrect. I cancelled the warranty as it is obvious that this company just collects premium and dont pay out when items break. Please consider this a unresolved issue.

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen: This is to inform you that the above-referenced complaint has now been resolved. Secure Home Warranty has issued a full refund for $399.99 to my [redacted] account.Thank you very kindly for all your efforts in helping to resolve this issue.[redacted] [redacted]

The customer has placed claims in the past and there was not issues or concerns, each claim placed does have a service call fee that is paid for, the customer has two toilets , two separate issues and the repairs do not relate to each other. The policy states a service call fee is due for each claim...

filed, there are two claims for two separate toilets and there were two service call fees. The customer was contacted by Secure Home Warranty on 2/27/2017 to further go over this matter as we did on another occasion in November when we waived the service call fee for the customer when they placed a claim for the washing machine, we will not be able to waive any additional fees.

The customer originally placed a claim for an electrical issue on 10/20/2016, and we did cover the claim, though it fell outside of the scope of the warranty(please refer to the attached invoice).Secure Home Warranty  received a call on 12/27/2016 from he customers' daughter that there was...

another electrical issue, we advised her that this a brand new claim and that the service call fee would have to be paid tot he technician when they come to the home. The customer stated that they had to get a technician for the same issue from before, the repair was made on 11/10/2016, 12/27/2016 is well over the 30 days to be a recall.Secure Home Warranty was more than willing to send a technician out to assess the issue but the customer does not agree with having to pay, technicians guarantee their work during the first 30 days anything over that is considered a new claim.

Tell us why here..Secure Home Warranty did inform the customer that this issue a a non-covered issue and we did provide service, we are unable to refund the customer for almost a year of coverage, and the customer is a pay as a you go customer. The policy has not been paid in full to issue a pro-rated refund, we ask the customer understand the limits of a warranty service and that just like your I insurance company we cannot refund past payments just because there were no claims placed, we still provided coverage.

I am rejecting this response because: They are lying. I asked for it they agreed verbally to put the lighting/plumbing on it and then didn't put it on. Now, they are trying to rip me off by ignoring what's going on. I asked for it within 30 days on top of it and that's what they offer on the contract they are referring to make sure I'm covered.

The technician called in to Secure Home Warranty on 12/15/2016 and stated that they serviced the customer and that the water softener is leaking and has a hole in the bottom.Secure Home Warranty spoke with he technician directly to get the complete diagnosis and they stated that the unit has a hole in the bottom, the hardness of the water and age caused the hoke, also that the valve does not work due to hole. The customer was advised in June, 2016 when they tried to originally place the claim for the water softener stating that it making a very loud sound and vibration inside of the home, we did explain that the the issue was not covered at that time.Secure Home Warranty explained on 06/30/2016 that the unit would have to have a mechanical breakdown in order to send out for a diagnosis, the customer would have had to have the unit repaired or replaced at that time, the customer waited for the unit to completely break down and file a claim at a later time for a replacement.Secure Home Warranty took the claim under the impression the unit was fixed or replaced. The customer has requested to cancel their policy with Secure Home Warranty and will be subject to the Terms of Agreement cancellation policy.

Secure Home Warranty does apologize that the customer was not happy with the service, we did refund the customer as of 12/27/2016.

I have purchased this home warranty policy from this company for all my home appliances. Now when my water heater failed due to a mechanical issue, these folks are not ready to cover the repair/replacement costs. I was told to call my own contractor to fix the issue as it was an emergency, which I...

did. He identified the issue as mechanical failure in the water heater and it needed a replacement. I have sent the invoice after the work for reimbursement and now secure home warranty is not ready to pay by giving different excuses. Their fine print says generally valves are not covered which they are pointing out, but mine was a mechanical failure which caused this and it was clearly pointed out in the invoice as well by the plumber.I need to get $1155 ($1200 total cost - $45 deductible) reimbursed from the home warranty as that was the cost of the water heater replacement.

Secure Home Warranty has refunded the customer in full, the customer has asked for a reimbursement for a claims, as we have refunded them in full.Our...

Terms of agreement state that if the customer cancels we do deduct the months of service provided at the non-discounted rate, and a cancellation fee(which was waived), and any costs incurred by Secure Home Warranty.Any costs incurred by Secure Home Warranty means that if we pay out on any claims we would recoup all costs incurred, in this case the customer received a full refund and is not entitled to any additional funds at this time. Please acknowledge the transaction receipt for 2 payments of 350.00 refunded to the customer, which is the full amount of 700.00 originally paid.

The customer did not pay for the warranty, legally we cannot refund the customer but we have to refund the...

person/person who sent in payment.  The customer has had the warranty for almost a year and at this time there no refund due for providing almost 1 year of coverage. The policy was purchased on June 27, 2016 with a check from the title company, the customer canceled the policy on 1/20/2017, because the hot water heater leaking is not covered under the warranty. As per the Terms of Agreement when the customer requests to cancel under "Termination by You" , they are entitle to a pro-rated refund at a non-discounted rate. The customer is not due any refund at this time, and we would be more than happy to go over this information with the title company, who paid for the policy.

If the customer would have had the repairs done within the first 30 days of placing the claim we would have been more than happy to assist the customer but they waited until almost a year later, they should have followed procedure, called Secure Home Warranty, placed a new claim and submitted the invoice.  The customer was in contact with us during the entire time and never mentioned they were going to call a technician out for the old issue form 2016, the invoice clearly states that the job was recently done.

The customer has been refund as of 01/30/2017, the refund was issued directly back to their credit card.

Please, let us know when it has been received

The customer has been refunded as of August 31 2016
