Secure One Capital Corp Reviews (81)

I received a random call one day on my cell phone one day there was a woman on the line saying her name was [redacted] from secure one Capitol she asked was I looking to refinance and that she reviewed my file and realized I had tried before but hadn't closed on the loanShe asked me why I said u tell me...after going through some details about my situation I was really giving her in my mind seconds to come up with something really quick to sustain my attention because I had given up on a refi Just seemed to difficultThat day....I would normally rudely hang up the telephone but the decision to listen saved me over monthly on my mortgage I'm out of a bad loan and I'm very happy! There's life after death! With a reduced by half interest rate!! Throughout the process she was really communicative and trusting and thorough I can breathe again and now make better choices concerning my home finance all because someone was really doing there job well thanks [redacted] !! When I am in California I want to meet you and shake your hand ma'am !! God bless you!! The day she said were going to do your best to get this done it was something in her voice that had me feeling assured and sold on it They really came thru!

“Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience you may have experiencedWe take pride in ensuring our customer’s satisfaction, and we will make sure you are not contacted again.”

I have rated my experience with Secure One Capital as"neutral" since I have both positive and negative experience with the company From the very first cold call, I immediately felt comfortable and easily connected with my loan officer because he was very courteous, helpful and informative It was a pleasant experience corresponding and providing all the required documents to him He was very prompt in responding to my calls, text and emails and provided all the information and estimates I needed in a timely manner Unfortunately, towards the closing of my refinance, the loan officer needed to take an extended leave and my file had to be taken over by his manager and processor Understandably, as a manager and processor, whose main functions were to manage a team of loan officers and a pile of transactions to be processed and funded, they came short in communicating with meDue to lack of communication, where calls were not answered, text messages had no replies, office phones were never answered, and the only means of communication was through emails where urgent questions were not addressed promptly, the transaction became very stressful It became extremely frustrating and painfully unpleasant when target dates where not met without immediate notifications and clear explanations for delays Although we know that our file was eventually attended to, we felt that we were not given enough priority which almost did not make the critical deadline to fund At the end of the day, after all the pleasant and unpleasant experiences, we are generally still thankful for the hard work and efforts of our loan officer, his manager and processor We are now very much relieved that we have met our goal to refinance to a lower interest rate, pay of all our credit cards and cash-out some funds for home improvement

Hello ***, We take all complaints very seriously and apologize that it was necessary for you to escalate the complaint to the Revdex.com We pride ourselves with exceptional customer serviceWe wish that we could have resolved your problem without having to involve the Revdex.com but very happy that we are able to resolve the problem for you regardless I apologize for the delay in responding to the complaint but felt it was necessary to do our due diligence prior to a formal response For your information purposes only, all of our calls are recorded for quality assurance and training purposes so we had to spend some time reviewing the phone call and first identify if we acted in errorAfter careful review we identified that our new hire, mortgage banker in training obtained your social security number during the call, suggested that we may have to run your credit during the application process but there was clearly a gap in communication on when this would happen during our approval process Due to the miss communication we are making every effort to correct this for you Per our discussion with you on 06/09/please submit the information that our department manager requested from you and we will work with our credit reporting agency to have the inquiry removed We appreciate your understanding and hope that our resolution to your problem is satisfactory

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below They have refused to clearly state that they will not call me again in the future They have provided no indication that they are changing their business practices to prevent harassment of other customers They have not indicated their compliance with federal do not call policies as outlined by the FTC So far they blew flowery words at me and tried to bribe me with $ Regards, [redacted]

Our story started over months ago Mortgage agent [redacted] was given the task of helping us refinance our townhouseWe had high debt, student loans and high H.O.Afees [redacted] ran into a lot of roadblocks with our H.O.A Most agents would have given up on us but not [redacted] He changed direction and helped us sale and pay off 75% of our debt and purchase a single family home [redacted] is a hero, to this family

Very bad experienceWe submitted all our information and we were told that our loan was moving into closing, we paid for the appraisal and we stopped hearing from themWe asked for an update and all of the sudden the loan was denied Very unprofessional

+1

I want to thank John T, Julie P and Secure One Capital for their excellent work in assisting us with the VA refinance of our homePer our appraisal we had to do some extensive work to our home before we could get our refinance loanThis work was more involved than we originally thought and ended up taking four whole months to completeDuring this time John and Julie stood in there with us and diligently followed our loan to a successful conclusionI am a Realtor and found their service to be very professional and as hassle free as possibleIf you are in the market for a new loan or refinance, then I highly recommend John and/or Julie

Hello ***, As a representative of Secure One Capital I wanted to personally apologize to you for your troubles but also assure you that our contacting you was a mistake This was an error on our part and we accept full responsibility for your troubles I agree that it must have been frustrating to continually receive solicitation phones calls from a company that you did not apply with In effort to resolve the matter, I have spent several weeks researching the events that led up to this in effort to prevent it from happening to anyone else Allow me to explain: I am not sure how this happened but your phone number ending in [redacted] was associated with another lead that was generated from our website from October This could be as simple as an individual miss typing the information on our application page Once an application is received the information is sent to an offsite call center that will contact the number in effort to obtain an application for refinance In effort to service our applicants we continue to call until the lead has reached a decision We attempted on a number of occasions to remove your number but because the name associated with the lead was different than yours I concluded that your number remained to be called on At our office we work very hard to provide exceptional service, we do not solicit anyone that has not prompted a phone call from our office This does happen on occasion through human and manual data entry errors but this is not a regular business practice for us I am hoping the you can accept our apology and allow us to part ways with an understanding that this was a sincere mistake In conclusion; You number will be removed from our contact list, we will not contact you again, we do recognize the do not call registry however the rules are slightly different since we have an application on file from October Based on the complaint filed it appears that there was an amount of $that you paid in international phone charges In effort to make this right our management team has agreed to issue you a check in the amount of which will be sent day priority mail on Wednesday 03/18/ If you would like to reach me, please do so at the number listed below [redacted]

Was lied to over and over by SrLoan Rep and has been going on for months , His lack of knowledge regarding FHA guidelines cost me more money and a higher interest rate , he claims he is going to make it right by paying the difference out of his money but that was months ago He still claims he is going to handle this but I have little faith he will if he does I will also advise you but as it stands right now I would not recommed Secure One Capitol to anyone especially with the rates being low and companies are competing for your business I believe that your word is your character and his word has not been good

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I appreciate the sentiment conveyed but I can guarantee I did not pursue anything mortgage related online - so I do not meet that criteriaI did however - begin refinance proceedings over a week after IRMA struck (I was without cell/phone and power for days - so it was after that - and I contacted my Mortgage Company by phone directly to discuss options in the IRMA aftermath) This means my information was obtained without my knowledge and I was specifically sent the mailer in question well after IRMA had struckThis means targeted marketing...This means the company consciously made the choice to send the material to a probably vulnerable and sleep deprived person trying to keep their head above waterI will not speculate on whether they increased their attempts in my region to 'obtain clients.' I will say the gentleman on the phone did tell me their company is very proud of being extremely 'aggressive'In my experience - that is not a good thing for consumers...its kind of like working for an IT Company that claims to be 'Bleeding Edge'...which really means they are hiring you full-time so they can work you 60-hrs / week I also would not be surprised if their material was already created as mentioned in the letter - a company that operates in this manner probably had it created last year after Hurricane Matthew...or after some other region of the US had a Natural Disaster knowing there would be more opportunity to use it in the future Regards, [redacted]

In regards to complaint ID [redacted] Hello [redacted] ***, Our office has made multiple attempts to reach [redacted] to properly handle this compliant Unfortunately we have not been able to reach him so I finally typed an email on March 16th in effort to resolve this complaint We have no record of [redacted] as a client so I suspect the authenticity of the complaint but do not have anything to back up my suspicion What he suggests could have happened but can’t say for sure that it did In effort to bring closure to his complaint you can post my email below Please remove any names or phone numbers from the review before posting this publicly I do have a check for prepared to send to Mr [redacted] on 03/18/ Please reach me if you have any questions Thanks for your assistance with this matter [redacted]

From: [redacted] Date: Wed, Jul 13, at 12:PMSubject: Complaint # [redacted] To: [email protected]: [redacted] < [redacted] > This is to inform you that Complaint # [redacted] , [redacted] vs Secure One Capital Corphas been satisfactorily resolved I have received a full refund of the appraisal fee in question [redacted] ***, PhD [redacted]

I randomly walked into SecureOne Capital after seeing some good Yelp reviews To be honest I was pretty sure I wouldn't qualify for a home loan but figured I would check first before looking for another apartment to rent [redacted] walked me through the process, kindly answered my dumb questions and the next day I had a pre-approval letter and a referral to a fantastic real estate agent (shout out to Courtney Lingle) weeks later I found a house I loved weeks later I had the keys to that house By all accounts I got a great deal on the home I wanted, in record time, with minimal BS I don't remember the last time I heard of a business treating a perfect stranger with the kind of honesty, integrity and efficiency that ***, [redacted] & [redacted] showed There's not enough stars for these people

After submitting all required documents and paying $for an appraisal, this company refused to return calls or answer emails I finally gave up I have never been treated so poorly This company does not live up to it's mission statement My recommendation is STAY AWAY!

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved Regards, [redacted] ***

RevDex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. Secure One used the standard "we retain outside companies" excuse to attempt to pass the blame along. Not surprisingly, their response is signed by one of their attorneys who knowingly and willingly neither admitting nor denying culpability. Therefore, on one hand they are apologizing for the calls and on the other they are not admitting the calls were made on their behalf. It's a pathetic line of legal nonsense designed to pacify me and it's not working at all. The fact is very simple: SOMEONE from Secure One DID call me on numerous occasions and whether Secure One personnel or a vendor contracted by them made the calls, Secure One is responsible. I reject their response and will take appropriate legal action against Secure One to resolve this issue to my satisfaction. Regards, [redacted]

Hello, my name is [redacted] *** I am the branch manager of Secure One Capital First off allow me to apologize for the way that [redacted] handled the phone call with you We truly do pride ourselves with our service to the people we contact, do business with, or have and dealings with whatsoever I am not sure you are looking for an explanation but I would kindly like to provide you with one Secure One Capital Corp is very strict when it comes to the Do Not Call Registry, we are very familiar with it, and a lot of effort goes into making sure that we are not contacting people that are listed on the National Do Not Call Registry It is very uncommon that this happens and when it does it is company protocol that we handle the complaint with care but also flag the number so it is never called again In regards to why you were contacted I cannot say for certain Our company purchases data from lead aggregators that of individuals that supposedly have applied online for a mortgage There are instances where the information entered online form may be a digit off on the phone number and it may have prompted a call Since we are purchasing data of individuals that inquired for a product or service and not cold calling we honestly thought we were responding to your inquiry In this case was truly an honest mistake In regards to the way the call was handled [redacted] was written up, suspended, and if it happens again terminated It’s unfortunate because he is a good kid working part time trying to put himself through college We do take responsibility for his actions and I can assure you will not be contacted again I would like nothing more to have you walk away from this knowing your voice has been heard and it will be a lesson learned that we need to spend more time with our new hires on the importance of customer satisfaction and service Please if you feel that I did not appropriately handle your concerns I ask that you reach me direct at teh number that I provided in my email to you

Secure One Capital and their team delivered on everything promised and got the transaction done quickly and efficiently
