This has been resolved. I worked with the client and resolved the matter to his satisfaction. In fact, the client has even requested that the Revdex.com remove his complaint. I posted to the Revdex.com site a few weeks ago and again yesterday that the matter had been resolved. ***

For your information purposes only, all of our calls are recorded for quality assurance and training purposes so we had to spend some time reviewing the phone call and first identify if we acted in errorAfter careful review we identified that our new hire, mortgage banker in training obtained your social security number during the call, suggested that we may have to run your credit during the application process but there was clearly a gap in communication on when this would happen during our approval process. Due to the miss communication we are making every effort to correct this for you. Per our discussion with your husband on 06/09/please submit the information that our department manager requested from you and we will work with our credit reporting agency to have the inquiry removed. Hello ***, As a representative of Secure One Capital I wanted to personally apologize to you for your troubles but also assure you that our contacting you was a mistake. This was an error on our part and we accept full responsibility for your troubles. I agree that it must have been frustrating to continually receive solicitation phones calls from a company that you did not apply with. In effort to resolve the matter, I have spent several weeks researching the events that led up to this in effort to prevent it from happening to anyone else Allow me to explain: I am not sure how this happened but your phone number ending in *** was associated with another lead that was generated from our website from October 2014. This could be as simple as an individual miss typing the information on our application page. Once an application is received the information is sent to an offsite call center that will contact the number in effort to obtain an application for refinance. In effort to service our applicants we continue to call until the lead has reached a decision. We attempted on a number of occasions to remove your number but because the name associated with the lead was different than yours I concluded that your number remained to be called on. At our office we work very hard to provide exceptional service, we do not solicit anyone that has not prompted a phone call from our office. This does happen on occasion through human and manual data entry errors but this is not a regular business practice for us. I am hoping the you can accept our apology and allow us to part ways with an understanding that this was a sincere mistake. In conclusion; You number will be removed from our contact list, we will not contact you again, we do recognize the do not call registry however the rules are slightly different since we have an application on file from October. Based on the complaint filed it appears that there was an amount of $that you paid in international phone charges. I had the pleasure of working with *** *** at Secure One on a refi, she was very patient, knowledgeable and super responsive when questioned, very good company to work with

In any loan transaction, there is an initial prequalification call, loan terms will be discussed, and as long as the applicant can
supply adequate information promptly, we will proceed to process the application. After the process of the refinance had started with Mr***, we soon learned that there was additional work that would need to be completed on his behalf. His existing mortgage had been modified, and we had to work with them to obtain satisfactory information to meet our condition of approval. As we explained to Mr***, there would have been no way for us to know any of this upfront so hi patience would be appreciated. During the transaction with Mr***, he had direct access to one of our branch managers in which calls were made to our branch manager as late as in the evening, on the weekends, and during vacation This was not a big concern for us since we constantly aim to please. If someone needs our cellular number, we will voluntarily give it to make sure he or she are at ease. Our branch manager has a family and did his very best to contact Mr*** back within a reasonable amount of time but apparently, we fell short. Since the complaint, we reached Mr*** to discuss his concerns, and after talking through it at greater length, Mr*** was happy that the loan got completed and he apologized for posting the negative review out of frustration
In closing, our branch manager did confirm that we waived the appraisal fee since he had just paid for one with another lender. We explained to Mr*** that after the loan closes accounting would have been notified to reimburse him for his appraisal fee. However, it was determined that Mr*** never paid for a 2ndappraisal and the fee was waived. We feel that we did the very best that we could on Mr***’s loan considering we were dealing with other lenders, HUD, and government agencies to obtain the information necessary to complete the transaction in weeks.

In addition, we (*** & I) spoke today to resolve the issue, not on 6/9/as indicated*** did attempt to contact me on 6/8/and left a message and I returned his call on 6/9/and left a messageI followed with an email*** got back to me today and stated he was out of the office due to an emergency and apologized for not returning my callI am not satisfied with the fact that Secure One Capital Corporation is not accepting responsibilityI demand an apology for this and would like for *** *** to contact me again and apologize for the lie that was blatantly told about a miscommunicationThe representative blurted out numbers on 5/20/stating that they could beat my current rate, after giving Secure One Capital Corporation the opportunity to do so given their grievous mistake, they could not! And it shows disingenuousness and unacceptable customer service that no one wanted to help me until I reported this issue to the Revdex.com and threatened to hire a consumer attorney to rectify this issueAs a resolution and until the action is completed, I will, on an interim basis, accept the good faith and promise made by *** *** and Secure One Capital Corporation to do as it states which is to remove the Credco inquiry from all three credit bureaus on my and my wife's behalfRegards,
