Sega transport just moved me and my youngest daughter out to California from New YorkI made one of the toughest decisions in my life by having to divorce my long-time wife, so I was extremely stressed about the situationLandon at Sega help me from start to finish to make this transition as less stressful as possibleThe guys were very professional from the time they walked in and packed everything, wrapped every single loose item from top to bottomI had never seen anything go so smooth even to having my things delivered they kept in great contact to make sure I knew what was going on and I actually got my things on time I definitely wasn't expecting that due to all the horror stories but I was willing to take my chances and those guys didn't disappointIf you're looking to move without hassle and only pure professionalism I would recommend Sega ANY DAY

[redacted] signed a copy of our order from back on June **, 2016, within our contract it gives the customer a clear insight on our delivery times as well as our refund policyOur contract states "Please be advised that Sega Transportation has up to a total of business days for delivery of household goods to all states by law." The customer was picked up on July *, [redacted] called into our office and spoke with a rep on July [redacted] to get a time/date on delivery and she was told to call back the following day to speak with our dispatchCustomer was called to confirm delivery by our dispatch and she stated to him that she was still in New York and would not be at the delivery location but that her mother would beShe also stated that she would come to our main office and pay the balance in personOn day of delivery July [redacted] in which falls within our business day time frame the driver called the customer to inform her that he is min away customer stated that she nor her mother are there to accept the deliveryThe driver called our dispatch supervisor and he was told to stay and wait until the customers mother returnedIn result [redacted] paid the balance and her goods were accepted by her motherThe move was completed on July [redacted] , On behalf of Sega Transportation we would like to apologize for any inconvenience you may have endured during your move with usShould you have any other questions or concerns please feel free to contact our officeThank you!

According to the estimate that the customer signed she agreed to Med boxesLooking at the Bill of Lading boxes were picked up with an additional wardrobe boxes in which are 2'x bigger than a large boxSo yes she did use additional space on the truck which justifies the additional fees chargedAs for the the missing items we have sent a delivery twice to the customers locationShould you have any other questions please contact meThank you

On behalf of Sega Transport we apologize that the customer was displeased with our serviceThe moving industry tends to reach it's peek during the summer seasonsThe original estimate was for cf and at time of pick up the truck reflects that the customer actually used cf of spaceThat additional cf of space used the customer is responsible for, therefore we did not lie or mislead the customer she in fact used more space than what was allotted forThere was never a guaranteed delivery date given to the customerAs per the contract signed by the customer on average east coast moves can take 3-business days but that is not a guaranteeThe contact also states that by law we are given up to [redacted] business days to deliver the customers goods from date of pick upAs per our contract we delivered the customers goods with in contracted time frameAs discussed with a rep here at our office a check of $was sent out for the reimbursement for the stairs fee to the customerThe remainder of the customers "Missing" goods were already deliveredIf there are any additional missing and or damaged items the customer needs to contact our 3rd party claims department at ###-###-####We here at Sega Transport aim for the customer to have a pleasant experience with our company in this case we apologize again that we were not able to meet the customers satisfactionShould there be any additional questions please contact our officeThank you

Hey ***, We're sorry you didn't feel like you had the best of serviceThe only thing that doesn't sit right with us with your complaint is because in moving in general and what we tell all customers is that the ONLY way the price goes up is if you have more itemsIf you tell us boxes and you really have that is why your price went upThat is also stated on every piece of paper you signed In addition you charged our reservation deposit of $back from your card holder for a move that was picked up and delivered, which we didn't fightSo you in fact got more that your settlement amount of $for something that we wern't in the wrong forWe do apologize for the miscommunication that you said you experienced which is why we didn't fight your charge backThank you

I spoke with Mike (my Rep) he told me the storage will be in FtLauderdale and that we would have access to it as long as we made prior arrangementsHe understood that all her clothing was in wardrobe boxes and she need them in FloridaAll the communication I have had indicates that they knew of this situationThey told me that the wardrobe boxes would be shipped via Fand they would give me a tracking numberI spoke with Donavan (apparently a manager, who told me this, Chancez(a dispatcher) who was calling me back with a tracking number, and finally Kaliabi(warehouse foreman)Kaliabi is the only person who was honest with me, he told me it would be too costly to send via [redacted] but would send it down on a truck with another delivery to FloridaI have lots of e-mails to Sega for my recordsMy daughter was moving to Florida to start a new teaching job In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]

This company is a scamThey arrived days later than promised for pick upDid not have the decency to inform me of the delays until I called the office repeatedly myselfI had to dis-assemble furniture myselfWhen they did arrive and load the furniture they provided a contract that was $more than the previously given binding contract 50% of which had to be paid for them to leave with the furniture with promise to resolve with the office when they opened the nextThis was not honored via the officeDO NOT make the mistake of using this companyI will be personally filing a formal complaint and civil action suit against this company on the principle of how terribly managed this company is

I do apologize that you are unhappy with our decision but according to the contact that you signed you must cancel your move BUSINESS days before your scheduled move date in order to receive a refund of your depositYes your move was booked for July [redacted] and yes you did cancel your move on July [redacted] but given the information I provided in which is also stated in the signed contract you cancelled your move outside of your time windowIn this case you cancelled your move BUSINESS days before your scheduled move dateI hope you find this information helpful and understand how our decision was madeShould you have any questions contact our officeThank you

The owner Tony was the first call I received as soon as my request posted that I was looking for movers to move my furniture from Pennsylvania to CaliforniaHe was extremely polite, wasn't aggressive as to why I should use his company, and he was also what I thought to be honest and straight forwardI received several other phone calls and quotes that day and days later but for some reason something about Tony stuck with meHe quoted me the lowest and I probably should have been alerted then but he made several promises that the price would not change, no matter whatHe talked in detail about his company and the services they would provide to me, how my belongings would be taken care of properlyPromised he wasn't a broker, he'd been in the business for years, he wasn't here to con me or get over on meHe'd answer my calls every day several times a day answering all my questionsHe told me he thought I was one of the nicer customers he's dealt with and didn't mind talking to meI still was uneasy with such a low quote and called him back a few times to recap all my belongings making sure I wasn't cheating him, because I knew I had more items than I anticipated as I continue to packHe continued to assure me the price would not change and that he usually over estimates just incase I did have more items than anticipatedThen things change as soon as my deposit clearsTony would no longer answer my calls or even return my callsHis voicemail is full so there's no way of leaving a message, you just have to catch him when you canThen the movers arrive, very polite, very professionalThings are going good at this pointAll my items are packed onto the truck and they hit me with a price double the quote Tony gave meI was in tears!!! They told me call Tony and see what he can do for youOf course Tony never answers and when he does he's busy and has to call me back, but never calls me backMy items finally arrive to California and several items are not only damaged but destroyed!!!! So now the only people I have been able to contact are customer service and I'm still waiting to hear back from themLong story short Tony was one of the highest quotes I received just a little under three grand and I was treated horriblyDO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

According to the contract that the customer E-signed on June [redacted] it states that all east coast moves are - business days but that's not a guaranteed time frameIt also states right below that the Department Of Transportation gives us up to business days to deliver customers goods from time of pick upThe customer was picked up on July [redacted] and delivered August [redacted] which means we delivered on the [redacted] business day from date of pick upWe fall with in our contracted time frame for deliveryI spoke with the customer on several occasions regarding her move and apologized for the delayShould you have any other questions or concerns please contact our officeThank you!
