According to the contract signed by the customer we are given business days by the Department of Transportation to deliver a customers goods from the date of pick upAll west coast moves take on average 14-business days for delivery so there is no way that we would guarantee a delivery for the [redacted] of AugustOnly time a customer is given a guaranteed delivery date is if the customer pays additional fees to accommodate thatIn this case the customer did not pay any additional fees to assure she would receiver her items on the [redacted] of AugustWe ask that all customers plan accordingly during the process of their relocation, and we apologize or any misunderstandingCustomer was delivered within our contracted delivery time frameAs for the damage to the customers car she needs to contact our 3rd party insurance company to file a claimThe claims department can be reached at ###-###-####Any others questions or concerns please contact our officeThank you

[redacted] : Hey ***, Not every person moving has the best... experience and we're sorry that this one is with our company. Simply put, you only pay for what your taking. If you have more items you have to pay for the extra space that its taking up. We did work out an adjustment with you as well as a discount because on our side we were late and do take responsibility for that as it doesn't happen often. After discounts and all when we were trying to deliver you simply didn't have the balance to pay, which is why it had to go into storage. We did in fact give you discounts for you having more items as well as being late on our side for delivery, but there was still a delivery balance that had to be satisfied. Again sorry there was nothing else on our side we could do to make you a happy customer.

The complaint is the service that was promised was not delivered and therefore we want a refundThe non delivery of what was previously agreed upon did result in pain and suffering for us, but is not the nature of this complaintThe company did not deliver what was promised, overcharged us, lied to us and dos not handle any concerns we raised through customer service

All estimates are based off the inventory provided to the moving coordinatorShould the driver get to to the customers location and there are additional items than what's on the original inventory, the original quote is no longer valid and the driver will provide a new estimate based off the additional itemsIn this case you had additional items in which made your estimate moreAs to the truck packing, we have smaller trucks for pickup and our larger trucks are used for deliveryWe tend to have a smaller amount of items during pick up because there are only two jobs on one truck so in order to ensure the proper safety of our customers items we pack the truck outDuring our deliveries we sometime have as many as jobs on one truck so the amount of room is limitedWe apologize you disagree with our method of packing but it's done to prevent damageYour move has been completed so there is no way for us to repack the truck with your items and provided you a new estimateUnfortunately we can not fulfill your requestWe hope that we were able to answer all of your concernsShould you have any additional questions please feel free to contact our officeThank you

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: My furniture was delivered at 8PM in the evening when a large moving truck would obviously have some level of difficulty maneuvering down a residential street My husband was home at the time to receive our furniture and deal with the delivery men While at work I received a threatening call by the dispatcher that my belongings would be sent back to New York if I did not pay an additional $CASH because a second attempt would have to be made the following day and due to the fact that SEGA would have to transfer my belongings to a smaller truck to make my "small" delivery Granted I've now read every line of the contract and acknowledge that a transfer fee is in there however many deliveries are made on this street in addition to having large garbage trucks come down it every Tuesday My argument is that at 8PM there are more cars on the street than he was willing to maneuver around Had they delivered at a PROPER business hour I would not have had to spend an additional $CASH due to the drivers lack of skills In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]

As per the contract that you signed we are given BUSINESS days to deliver the customers goodsAs I explained you were picked up on July *** and delivered on Aug ***Weekends are not included in the business days which means we were one day outside of the day time frameAs for the items that are damaged you will need to go through our claims departmentAny other questions please contact our officeThank you

First and foremost on behalf of Sega Transport we would like to apologize for a bad experienceAs per the guaranteed delivery date our sales reps are not in the position to guarantee any delivery datesWe aim to deliver east coast moves within - business days but as per our contract signed by customer on June *, by law we are given up to business days to deliver customers goods from date of pick upAs per the property damage our corporate office is handling that issueThe reason that the customers rate was indeed raised is due to the additional cubic feet that their shipment took up in the truckCustomer was originally quoted for cf and at time of pick up actually used cf which would make customer responsible for the additional cost Again we aim for a great customer experience and apologize that we were not able to meet your standardsShould you have any additional questions please do not hesitate to contact our officeThank you!

When I was approached by this company to do business I told them that the moving company that we had contracted months prior was no longer able to move us and I needed someone immediately to move my daughter! They reassured me they could have someone loaded her tomorrow am with no problems we agreed on price and then he sent me a contractAssured me her stuff would be done tomorrow at am They would call me later that day and let me know the exact timeThey never called! I called them and he told me from to No one showed up called them back and they said they could not do it todayRetold them the situation and they said they would let me knowNever heard from them called them backCould not get thru to them went thru the main line and they told me minutes and they would be thereOnce again a lieNever heard from themCalled again and could not reach them so talked to another person and she told me they could not get our stuff today! Told her I wanted to cancel the contract and she told me she could not do that only supervisors could do that but they were all out to lunch at and would not be back till Told her to have them call meThey never did!, they never call me at all!, this all transpired over a hour period! They charged me $and just lied to me about everything I received a call from another moving service about 630pm that night saying he was contracted by sega transportation to move us!, I explained I had canceled that service because I already had to get her stuff moved out that day!! Basically they lie to you to get you to sign the contract and then you can never reach them again because they wont answer your call unless you call from a different number!! Very disappointed in this company and the people who run it!,,

Customer was told by a representative in our office that our storage facilities are not available to the public and unfortunately with that being said they would not have access to their belongingsIt's unfortunate but we are not responsible for what the customer packs once items are placed in storageIf customer would like to move his delivery date up he does have the option to do soShould there be any other questions or concerns please contact our office
