I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
On Monday, July 17, 2017, SeneGence attempted to contact me several times.  All emails that had attachments, or that were more than a single-line reply, bounced.  This prevented me from being able to provide them with the requested documents, and now they have "closed" this issue with zero customer support.  No solution to this matter was proposed on the part of SeneGence.Whilst distributors are independent, they agree to conduct business in an ethical manner when they sign on to be a representative of SeneGence.  This has not happened.If SeneGence does not wish to facilitate the resolving of bad customer service from their distributors, then it would seem that the last recourse is to leave a review reflective of their decision.

Distributor Policies and Procedures, SeneGence has confirmed that the matter cannot be resolved through SeneGence, rather the matter is to be resolved between Ms. [redacted] and Ms. [redacted]. There is nothing in the complaint that would be a violation of the SeneGence Independent Distributors Policies and Procedures on Trade Shows. Independent Distributors are separate entities and are not agents of SeneGence Corporation. SeneGence cannot therefore speak for Independent Distributors nor be held accountable for their actions. Unless otherwise stated in the Policies and Procedures, matters involving third-party consumers/vendors need to be handled though the distributor her/himself. Therefore, because Ms. [redacted] is a third party vendor/individual, and Ms. [redacted] is not in violation of the Independent Distributor Policies and Procedures, SeneGence is unable to get involved with Ms. [redacted]s’ and Ms. [redacted] matter. Clearly if the Independent Distributor filed a false claim with PayPal, that would be wrong , but not covered in the subject matter of our oversight.   We apologize for the inconvenience the Independent Distributor has caused. Dear Ms. [redacted], Thank you for your patience on this matter. We understand your frustrations. While the Independent Distributors are to conduct business in an ethical and professional manner, and any actions otherwise is not considered appropriate behavior, SeneGence cannot intervene in contract disputes between Third-Parties and Distributors. SeneGence can only intervene in conflicts arising out of events when a violation of the Policies & Procedures has taken place. Here, there has not been a violation of the Policies & Procedures, and therefore, SeneGence cannot intervene. It is therefore incumbent on you to reach out to the Independent Distributor and resolve the matter. Such matters, such as this one, can only be resolved by reaching out to the Independent Distributor. I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. Department sent the request for refund for the distributor’s sign-up fee to the Accounting Department to issue Ms. [redacted] refund.Regarding Ms. [redacted] refund to returned product. Ms. [redacted],Please accept my apologies for your frustrations and further delay.As per your request for refund on the orders you requested [orders# [redacted] and [redacted]], I would like you to be aware that those orders were issued a full refund as of 5/19/17. Unfortunately, it does take time to fully process through accounting. Please check for those amounts to confirm they have been refunded. In addition, because of your just frustrations and loss in purchasing the old beauty books just days prior to when the new ones were set to be distributed, we issued a refund for the order of those beauty books as well [order# [redacted]]. Further, your concerns about being “overcharged on sales tax” have been addressed. When switching to a new system, SeneGence experienced a system error. This system error caused some errors in taxation, which have since been cured. Because of the “overcharge” I have personally investigated the amount due and there will be a check mailed to you in the amount due to you. In regards to your new concern of non - refunding of sales tax, I have sent to for further review up the line under the Legal Department. I will see that the response is issued directly to you via email once it has been investigated. SeneGence has admittedly struggled in the first part of 2017 with demands resulting from rapid growth. Part of those struggles have included significantly increase sales – which caused longer than normal shipping times as well as refund times. That growth also resulted in increased Distributor numbers, which caused difficulties in responding to Distributor problems. To address these problems, we have added numerous additional customer care representatives. I am sorry you experienced the struggles we went through in the process, but we do strive to do the right thing.Please let me know if you have any further concerns. Sincerely, SeneGence Legal Department

was noted that the charge for the SeneSite, for which the distributor is requesting said refund, is in the actual amount of $299.95 and distributor was charged said amount. In addition, the purchase for the SeneSite [the item being requested to refund] was made on November 2, 2016 by the distributor, over seven [7] months prior to the date the complaint was received, May 25, 2017. During this time, the SeneSite has been active. SeneGence Legal Department is still investigating the matter, and if all looks well on the Distributor’s account, SeneGence will provide Ms. [redacted] with a refund for her SeneSite.We apologize for any inconvenience on this matter. But, as of June 20, 2017, SeneGence customer care department confirmed with Ms. [redacted] that she was to be refunded her requested amount, thereby resolving the matter.  Please feel free to forward this response to Ms. [redacted].

Distributor No. [redacted]) voluntarily cancelled her distributorship on March 20, 2017, and refund was processed on March 21, 2017. It may take up to 5-10 business days for the credit to appear. The matter is closed on our end.

Dear Sir or Madam:   SeneGence offered [redacted] a full refund, as originally requested (see below).  Although [redacted] originally offered to return the product which she had ordered and received, in keeping of SeneGence's standard refund policy - in the final event she refused / failed to do so. Nevertheless, in this circumstance SeneGence agreed to, and has refunded [redacted] in full.
