Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID
***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For
your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
***
According to ***
and Ohio rules, the section in the 'Advice of Coverage' that the business references is NOT applicable in this case, therefor any mention of reimbursement/replacement per pound is
not only irrelevant but misleading. ***
and Ohio are very clear on this
His offer of $is not 'fair' as he states, considering
the official claim submitted to the business (on his request), and the police
report filing, was for ~3x this amount he is offering, and a comparison to per pound value is again irrelevant and misleading
Enclosed is a copy of the front of my invoice nullifying the
“Limitations” section he referenced. For
the record, according to *** and Ohio law (in short), if a reimbursement
option is not selected/agreed to by both parties (i.e., Hercules and me), then
full replacement value for any lost item is required. Per pound
reimbursement is only applicable for minimal coverage or depreciated
value. Page one of the 'Advice of Coverage' shows no option selected
This is a simple matter of one of two unpacked phones in original boxes going
missing during the move, valued at over $600. Hercules and MrH***'s
indifference to this is an important consideration for the Revdex.com

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***. I will only agree to the terms if it is paid within the next business days in a cashier check made payable to my attention. I've made arrangements to have the treadmill repaired. You can reimburse me for the cost of the diagnostic directly.

Your wife was there at the load and handed my men the tape to tape the door shut withI do not believe your wife could not see the white chips of wood against the dark wood of the deskAlso, according to my men there were doors on the back side of the desk, the only door that needed tape was the broken oneThat leads me to believe the door was broken prior to my men moving the deskThe men that were on the job have both been with me for several years and have no reason to lieOn the other hand, you have every reason to lie, you either get a desk that was previous broken repaired or you get a free moveIn your copy of the job ticket #at the bottom you signed above the words "I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the time shown above is correct and the goods were received in good order except as noted"That being said I am willing to offer $off the move to settle this dispute

The speaker was not left on our truckI do not believe either one of the men took it, both men have been with me for over yearsIn order to try to settle this claim I am willing to offer $

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. Please find attached my response below to Mr*** when he sent his pathetic argument the first time. I have also included below my original response to his first e-mail. His response as well as his service is unacceptable.Your men saw both functioning undamaged doors prior to removal and observed there was no locking mechanism Therefore they decided to tape the doors Both doors were taped. You obviously have no interest in providing fair, honest, or satisfactory service Your commentary is irrelevant at this point
Regards,
*** *** Dear Mr***, It is unfortunate you are unwilling to stand by the work of your company and its employees. Your employees performed unsatisfactory work during the move resulting in damages to our desk. My wife was at the load location and witnessed the desk doors in perfect condition prior to the move on 12-22-16. The damage done while in your company's custody was not discovered until after your employees had left, upon removal of tape from the doors. Your company was called immediately upon discovery and a message was left on your company voicemail. I followed up the next day with an office employee of your company, followed by subsequent e-mails, and did not hear from you until 12-28-16. Your assertion that I "saw the damage to the door" at the time of delivery would indicate that your employees were well aware of the damage at the time. At no point prior to the men leaving was the damage noticed by us, brought to our attention, acknowledged, or discussed. Any signature or agreement begotten at that time would have been based on deceptive pretenses, since your men were aware of the damage yet did not disclose it. We provided payment information and we did tip your employees a total sum of $40. Do you honestly believe we would have tipped the men or been happy with the result had we known about the damage to the desk? The move of which being the primary reason we hired your company. And had we known about the damage we certainly would have disclosed it on the receipt, to be remedied. You were informed by e-mail on 12-23-at 12:pm that I was freezing payment until damages were remedied. So, it should come as no shock to you that your attempts to bill the credit card were "declined" As it turns out, based upon your response, this was an appropriate action to ensure some sort of recourse on our part. Curiously, the tape at the top of the damaged door only covered the inner left side (as facing the door), while the remaining pieces covered the width of the door. One could argue the tape had possibly broken, been removed, or had been insufficiently applied. Also, while your men had been relatively expedient in moving other items, when it came time to unload the desk from the truck they spent a much longer period of time (approximately minutes) inside the truck. One would question why the long delay vs performing the other tasks? Were they contemplating what to do about the damage and how to cover it up? The fact that you bring up being fired and repair costs being taken out of their pay would lead me to believe that these things are top of mind for you. This would also lead me to believe they are top of mind for your employees. I would think this would be ample motive for not disclosing the truth about causing damage. Who can say what causes men to be less than honorable in their dealings? Perhaps they follow the example set forth by their leader. I sincerely hope that you will do the honorable thing here, and right the wrong your company and its employees have caused. Or you may cower sir and choose to not accept your responsibilities, but regardless, you will be held accountable

We are in contact with the customer in this complaint and are currently awaiting a response on an offer to settle this

[redacted] ---Date Sent: 5/11/2016 5:08:50 PMRevdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.   :The speaker was not left on our truck. I do not believe either one of the men took it, both men have been with me for over 5 years. In order to try to settle this claim I am willing to offer $30.00."The speaker was carried to the truck by the movers, but did not arrive at my new residence.   Regardless of whether it was taken (which, during my first call to Hercules, I  specifically said I did not believe happened), misplaced, or lost, Hercules Movers were hired, trusted and paid to deliver everything they loaded on their truck, and that did not happen.  The speaker was brand new, in the original box and packaging and I believe full payment of $130 is reasonable.Regards,[redacted]

Tell us why here... Revdex.com, I believe that I should receive some type of compensation for damage and loss of my household items. If Hercules is refusing to refund my money for unsatisfactory services, I would like for them to cover the loss of my large fruit bowl made in Italy (wedding gift), cover the cost of large baking dish and casserole dish, drinking glasses (approximately 4-6), flatware (part of a set), can opener, plates and bowls and perhaps a few other items that do not come to mind. I believe $120 would cover the expense of these items. Thank you for your assistance regarding this matter.[redacted]

In order to try to resolve this I am willing to have [redacted] come out to clean the box spring. If this is acceptable please let us know.

An Insurance claim form was sent a second time today, 11/9/16.

I am currently working with the [redacted] to resolve this claim.

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. I do NOT want to have the Hercules repair person come to our home and repair the damages we incurred. If we weren't satisfied with the quality of the professionals the first time, the second time might not be any different. We really just want our money back. Our time was wasted for hours upon hours the day of the move and we will have to pay someone else to come out to the home to repair damage (I'd be happy to provide estimates). We were overcharged by far to begin with and on top of that incurred damage. Please refund.

I am not aware of any resolution Hercules has worked on with [redacted], and have been informed Hercules is not in compliance with [redacted] rules (e.g., bill of laden, exceeding response time).  Until I receive notification of complete resolution, I can't accept the business's statement that they are working on it with an outside organization. At any time Hercules resolves this appropriately, I will accept this through Revdex.com.  Until then, nothing has been resolved and I will continue to pursue complete resolution.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I simply wanted them to pay for it to be cleaned since it was clearly damaged in storage or in their truck during transport. Can you please confirm how I go about scheduling this and getting it paid for?
