To address the response and attachment - The attachment that Mr [redacted] is providing does not show an advertised sales price of $22,on 1/4/ The price of the vehicle was $23,and that is the same amount that was paid by Mr [redacted]

Mr [redacted] did indeed purchase a vehicle service contract that covers the engine, transmission, seals & gaskets The service contract is good for as long as he owns the vehicle and does not have a limit on the number of miles he can put on the vehicle While I understand that it can be frustrating and inconvenient when a vehicle becomes in need of repair, we helped him arrange to have the repair made under the vehicle service contract at a [redacted] dealership As far as the claim of avoiding him goes, that is just not true On numerous occasions we have spoken to him, in-person and on the phone, and presented options to try and resolve his issues The credit union that he has a loan through has given specific numbers on the amount of credit they are willing to extend to him We have presented several different solutions to try and satisfy him#We have offered to take the vehicle in on trade for the full amount that is owed and find him another vehicle that fits what his credit union is willing to lend to him#We have offered to satisfy his credit union loan if he returns the vehicle to usOur last contact with Mr [redacted] was on 10/when our General Sales Manager called him again to go over vehicles for the trahe would like, but Mr [redacted] was occupied and did not want to go over them at the time I would encourage him to call or visit our office

The first complaint was in regards to trading in the vehicle with another dealership and now according to the response the vehicle was totaled and the customer sought out a refund from the administrator of the vehicle service contract In regards to the second portion about our sales process, the customer purchased a vehicle service contract which can be used to cover costs associated with vehicle repair, including parts and labor on covered items Shannon Motors does not engage in deceptive sales practices

Shannon Motors is willing to refund any deposit this customer madeThey may come to the dealership at their convenience to pick it up

When [redacted] decided that she no longer wanted to purchase a vehicle we gladly refunded the money she had given as a down payment She picked up the refund in our office on 12/5/ If there are any additional questions or concerns I would urge her to give us a call at [redacted] so we can address them

We have already agreed with what Mr [redacted] asked for on his desired settlement Due to the short time frame, it will not be on his credit report This is exactly what was asked for

It is difficult to respond to this complaint based on its scopeIt was submitted as an advertising complaint, so I will start thereThis customer claims this vehicle was advertised with a $weekly payment and/or Shannon Motors was advertising $weekly payments in generalNeither claim is
accurate, and I am certain the customer would be unable to produce a copy of any such advertisementThe vehicle the cus***er purchased was never advertised in any way with a stated payment, and Shannon Motors has never advertised a default payment which would apply to every vehicleThis customers other main issue is the value of the vehicleTo claim a *** Tribute is worth $is not reasonableComparable vehicles are currently listed for sale at other dealerships in the area for between $9,- $11,It is also unreasonable for this customer to expect to be reimbursed any moneyAs stated in the complaint, they made approximately the first six months of payments on the leaseThey then continued to use the vehicle for another six months without making paymentsOnly once the leasing company was able to locate the collateral, did this person decide to file a complaint with your office

If this customers' issue is that they leased the vehicle as opposed to financing with a conventional installment contract, we are willing to accommodate thisI would like to make it clear however that it would be virtually impossible for a customer to lease a vehicle here, and leave with the
impression they signed a conventional installment contractAfter a customer is done with their salesperson, a different individual goes over all of the financing paperwork, and everything is clearly explained, including all the termsWe do offer both types of financing, and this customer chose to utilize our leasing option

The sale of this vehicle took place months ago back in January. Online website prices update frequently based on market conditions It is possible that at some point the price showing on the screenshot was listed on our website, but when Mr*** purchased his vehicle our online price was $23,which is the same price agreed upon and paid by Mr***
