Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted].
I do not accept this offer because I do not understand what the charge off is and I returned the plates with the registration on Monday, October 30, 2017 dropped off in the mail box slot around 1:50Pm with a rubber band to secure them.  Until then they explain what they meant by charge off and also to confirm they receive the plates with the registration I will not accept any offers.
Regards,
[redacted]

To address the response and attachment - The attachment that Mr. [redacted] is providing does not show an advertised sales price of $22,988 on 1/4/17.  The price of the vehicle was $23,988 and that is the same amount that was paid by Mr. [redacted].

Regards,
[redacted] I have been on my credit report today and it still shows an open account with a balance of 6,535.

We have received your license plates and registration, thank you for returning them.  A charge off is the declaration that you won’t be paying your loan and the debt is unlikely to be collected.

The vehicle came with a 30 day, 1000 mile warranty as well as 24 month, 24,000 mile Powertrain Coverage.  To address the first issue in this complaint, as stated in the complaint, Shannon Motors made the necessary repairs. As far as the transmission issues go, Shannon Motors also offered to...

make repairs to this vehicle under the powertrain coverage, but Ms. [redacted] decided to use her own mechanic instead.  While I understand it can be frustrating and inconvenient when a vehicle becomes in need of repair, I do not feel it is reasonable to ask for reimbursement when we offered to make repairs under the powertrain coverage and Ms. [redacted] chose not to utilize it.

The vehicle was traded in to the dealer for another car, because it could not be repaired for less than the replacement cost - ie "totaled". It was worth $3k with the damage, and I still owed $12,000 on the loan. That $12,000 included $2,000 for a "lifetime warranty" that I didn't need or want. The [redacted] warranty covers up to 100,000 miles, and the vehicle only had 78,000 when I purchased it from Shannon.  I am not going to argue with you through Revdex.com messages. I called you and emailed you directly multiple times and did not receive a return call. If you want to speak with me directly, please do so. Otherwise, I will proceed with filing suit. I am in the process of collecting supporting documentation from other Shannon customers who experienced similar deceptive sales practices. The only acceptable resolution is a refund of the "warranty".

When [redacted] decided that she no longer wanted to purchase a vehicle we gladly refunded the money she had given as a down payment.  She picked up the refund in our office on 12/5/17.  If there are any additional questions or concerns I would urge her to give us a call at...

[redacted] so we can address them.

I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint #[redacted]. This business seems to miss the point, as I brought my vehicle in less than two weeks after I purchased the vehicle for the identical problem. They did not offer to fix it at their cost they offered to fix it at half and I chose to deny that due to the lack of faith I had in their facility and paid more than double to have my truck fixed. Everything that they "fixed" was broken again in less than a months time. I have learned my lesson dealing with this company. I would keep this open in hopes that I would have the extra insurance that I purchased refunded back to me, but this company is unprofessional and unjust, and I just want this to be  over so I am closing this claim, that is the only reason. Shannon motors has a really bad name around my state, I just wish I would have known that before buying a $25000 truck. I understand that by choosing to accept the business response that my complaint will be closed as resolved.
