Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I ( [redacted] ***) am not satisfied with the Business (Sheridan Ford Sales) response I am still seeking a refund of $2, As I have stated, I have received the technical information (second opinion if you will) from other reputable mechanics concerning the timing chainBest Regards, [redacted] ***Contracting Administrator

we did offer the customer a discount on the repairthis was his second set of brakes on this truckthe rotor would have o be replaced anyway

I purchased a Suburu Outback from Sheridan Ford a year agoI brought the car to a mechanic to have it looked at and they said the head gaskets were leakingI brought it back to Sheridan and asked them to give me more of a break on the price and they said noThey told me the engine was in good condition when I bought itNow its in the shop with a blown head gasket and I am looking at $2,in repairsMight actually be $3,if the catalytic converter is shotDon't do business hereI guess I should have known when over one third of their reviews on FB are out of starsThanks for nothing Sheridan

My husband and I purchased a new vehicle (Ford Explorer Sport) from Sheridan Ford on March 5, It was in the shop March 24-for minor work -- ding on door, possible oil leak, loose window molding, scuff marks on front bumper, and a power back seat that was not folding properlyNothing was done to fix the seat, molding, or scuff marksWe returned March [redacted] told us nothing could be done to fix the molding (it had been replaced crookedly) and he pushed and pulled on the seat for several minutes and then said it was fixedWe asked for the service managerRight in front of us, [redacted] told the service manager the seat had been working and he didn't know what we were talking about -- when only minutes before he saw it not workingThe seat is working off and on now and I am uncertain if it is truly fixedIf it fails to work properly again, I will take it to a different Ford dealershipI do not want Sheridan to work on it But my real complaint is with the

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. You guys never had the truck running wellWhen I picked it up and talked to Tim about that fact that it never sounded like that before, he said they pulled and reinstalled the distributor and that's what it sounded likeSo it had been running terrible and shaking when I was called and was told there was only a "light knock" and acted like it wasn't a big dealI would like to restate, I want a refund on the brake and oil change that you (knowingly or unknowingly) deceived me into gettingWords have meaning and you have to be accountableI had made it clear from the gthat I did not want the brakes fixed unless the truck was workingWe clearly have a differing opinion on what constitutes a working truck. It also think it shows how much they appreciate their customer base in their responseI've bought vehicles there and have had my vehicles serviced there and to attempt to make this situation right and keep a customer they are willing to give me a free estimate on trying to figure out what's wrong with it nowit's insultingRegards,

To Whom it May Concern, We are deeply sorry that the customer feels they have had a poor experience with our Dealership That being said, there are several factors involved in this transaction over which Sheridan Ford did not have control We cannot control the amount that vehicles depreciate As far as the vehicle having a clean Auto Check, we provide that information to the customer, but it is by no means a guarantee that the vehicle has never been in an accident nor is it a guarantee that the vehicle has not had any issues We cannot control when or what information Auto Check includes on their reportThere is no law requiring a car dealership in the State of Delaware to disclose a vehicle’s accident history We also cannot control whether the customer has or does not have equity at the current point in their loan Equity is as much a result of the term or the interest rate of the loan as it is the condition of the vehicleWe have spoken to the customer and attempted to resolve this, but the customer did not agree to our offer We are still open to help the customer trade the vehicle in at a value similar to what it would be worth without the accident history This offer has only been made because we do not want any customer to feel the way [redacted] feels That being said, we are not willing to do what she has requested[redacted]

if you read the email I sent Mrs[redacted] you can see that it was impossible for the wheel to be left loose and for the truck to be driven miles the auto care shop did a entensive check over of the loose wheel and did not see any damage to the wheel which after 287mile being loose it would be badly damagedis it possilbe that some one was trying to steal the new tires on her truck? we have many customers towed in with all four wheels and tires missing that were stolenif she likes I will do a alignment ck and give her a print out to prove the alignment is correctafter my investigation I do not feel any responsibilty to this occurancethank ***

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Regards,

I'm disappointed with my purchase of tires on 11/ I'm upset to find out when I called back on the 29th that I was not offered road hazard plan I did ask if I could return the tires, he said no This is the second set of tires from Yokohama that I have put on my truck, the first set was purchased in Ohio, and I was always offered a road hazard plan I think you should fully explain to your customers before they make a purchase of that size $ Now the one problem I see is I requested a price for the tires with installation and warranty I should have been told at that time no road hazard plans available, or at least explained the warranty only covers workmanship not road hazard OK I should have used the words road hazard not warranty But being that this is my second set of Yokohama tires I did my research and Yokohama always offer Road Hazard on Geolanders for SUV so there was no reason for me to think otherwise My receipt doesn't show the DOTSerial # but I know I ca

We understand that the customer has rejected our response to her issues That being said, we have offered to help her trade out of the vehicle, and she has rejected that offer We would trade in the vehicle disregarding the accident history, but it does not seem the customer wants that as relief.Otherwise, we are not required to disclose any information regarding prior accidents to any vehicle We are sorry the customer has rejected our response, but there doesn't seem to be anything more we can do at this time.*** ***Sheridan Ford Sales

** *** was very nice my reducing the cost of the repair for the customerWe would be happy to look at new complaintSorry if customer thinks our prices are to high, can get a coupon

We offered a settlement to the customer, and we have also contacted another set off vendors, but we have yet to find anyone who can install the roof We understand we made a mistake, but the customer did not accept the settlement we offered him months ago We are sorry this has happened, but the only way to get him out of the truck at this point would be to trade him out of it, which would incur additional fees and expenses since he's been driving the vehicle for months

the general manager of the dealership ** call the cust and lower the cost of the repair to $as a goodwill gesturethere was no connection between the coolant flush nad the radiator leak, the flush is done at half system pressure

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I dispute the fact that *** *** feels this is a matter of "depreciation value" of the vehicleIt is a matter of the dealership knowing the vehicle was in an accident, made the repairs to the vehicle and hid that information at time of saleI have documentation from the original point of sale that shows that they knew about the accident and made the repairs within their shopTherefore I reject their response because the vehicle was unsellable at the time of purchase

No apologies were made for the horrible customer service received, the fact that I was intentionally hung up on, not allowed to speak with the tech who worked on my car and avoidance of my questionsNo mention of why there was no oil in my car when the tech was supposed to check that during the safety inspectionNo mention of why several items were missed during the safety inspection that were clearly visibleHe even states that yes, I was told it was in good condition but how can you say that now when the car wasn't even checked properlyAccording to the Service Manager the "service inspection" was not even performed but I was told by Erin that it waswhich is it? We were misguided by a tech who proved to not be able to do his job properlyYet, the owner disagrees we owned any amount for these discrepanciesWhy does it take going through the Revdex.com to receive any response from an owner who can't even appropriately type a letter that shows some effort and is grammatically correct? Very poor way to represent your company
Regards,

There are categories of extended service plansA New Vehicle Extended Service Agreement and a Used Vehicle Extended Service AgreementA New Vehicle Extended Service Agreement applies when a vehicle is still covered under the manufacturer warrantyFor example, Ford's factory warranty is
years/36,miles from the initial purchase*** ***'s Ford Edge was still covered under the manufacturer's warranty when she purchased it from Sheridan Ford on July 25, 2009; therefore she was sold a New Vehicle Extended Service Agreement
The in-service date for *** ***'s Ford Edge was October 7, , and it had 17,miles at the time of her purchaseBoth the in-service date and mileage are disclosed on the New Vehicle Service Agreement sold to *** *** at the time of her purchaseIt also stats in bold in box 5, "This agreement expires by time from Manufacturer's In-Service date or mileage measured from zero {0) miles, whichever occurs first."
The advantage of New Vehicle Extended Service Agreements over Used Vehicle Extended Service Agreements is they provide more coverage and they are cheaper The most coverage a customer can purchase from Sheridan Ford on a Used Vehicle Extended Service Contract is years/80,milesThe New Vehicle Extended Service Contract purchased by *** *** provided her with years days or 82,miles of coverage until the contract expiredAdditionally ,it cost less than a similar term Used Vehicle Extended Service Contract
The New Vehicle Extended Service Contract purchased by *** *** was not sold to a previous customer and then transferred to her*** *** is the original owner of New Vehicle Extended Service Contract No ***It expired by time on October 7,or when the odometer reached 100,miles

I applied for a refund on my service contract and GAP insurance in FebruaryThe Finance Manager said he would email me the formI never got it
August 17th of this year, I went in person to submit the formsWhen I completed the forms, they told me I would get a refund in two weeksWhen I called last week, they informed me that I would not get a refund unless I could prove that the car loan was paid offI proved that in AugustNow, they are still stalling and in that time, I have lost six months of my refund because they have not processed the paperwork
