difficult to schedule with and this is why we exchange the item as a courtesy.  The consumer was given a warranty certificate #[redacted] which explains what is covered and what is covered and rips and tears are not, I will attach a copy of this document. At this time The RoomStore will exchange the item but any further warranty issues we will follow protocol.Thank You The RoomStore

The warranty states that if the items are repairable than this is what needs to be done. If the item cant be repaired further action would be taken,  the roomstore will honor the warranty to repair the defective items.

Again ........The consumer made a payment of 586.74 on February 21 2016, The item was not in stock so therefore was not delivered at this time we will be refunding the 586.74 and any other refunds will have to be field with the bankruptcy court. This is all we can do.

The RoomStore would like to apologize if there was any communication problems in there transaction but we do show on their original sales order ([redacted]) that no sofa was on the ticket. The consumer did sign the sales order and I will be enclosing a copy of this document. If there is any further question please call the store and ask to speak with the store manager.

The merchandise was picked up on April 15th 2015 and our policy for refunds is 10 to 14 business days. (See below) The consumer was not happy with that answer so as a courtesy the RoomStore refunded all her money she was due on April 15th 2015...

If there is any further question please have customer contact our corporate office.The RoomStoreREFUNDS:In the event a refund is authorized, a RoomStore check will be issued if you paid by cash or check. If you paid by using a Bank Card the refund will be issued as a Bank Card credit. Normal time for refund processing is 10 to 14 banking days. All refunds are issued by the Corporate Offices; stores cannot give refunds.

The consumer purchased items In February of 2011 along with a 5 year extended warranty which only cover what is listed on the warranty. (A copy will be enclosed). The consumer called in April of 2014 with a complaint that the leather was peeling this is not covered under the 5 year warranty but is...

only covered 3 years through the RoomStore. (Copy will be enclosed.) The consumer was notified by the warranty department and customer service.

Purchased reclining couch,loveseat and rocker from Peoria AZ Roomstore. September- called to repair couch and loveseat.February- repairman from Quality Furniture Inventory shows up at 7:30PM. Says he's worked all day and is exhausted but will do what he can. 1 1/2 hrs later he has to order part. July part is in man comes to repair. 1hr later he has to order another part! Just got call part will be in 6-8 wks. I am sitting on a none reclining couch with a broken seat and slanted back...thats the part he fixed. Roomstore heard our complaint but never did anything about it. Quality Furniture told us repair is done once a month for our area...17 miles from Anthem AZ, repair man says they are in Anthem every Tuesday.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The documentation that I have does not stet that the delivery charges will be deducted for the amount of the purchase. It also does not state that the delivery charges have become part of the purchase price of materials. In addition, I was told by ** and [redacted] that a "FULL REFUND" will be issued within the time limits of the information on the invoice. The partial amount was received but still short the $65.00; (sixty fie dollars). I still expect a full refund as the amount of refund is only partial of what was paid. Again, it does not state that the delivery charges will be converted to another item so you can keep it from us. I will continue the process until you provide my FULL REFUND. Thanks, [redacted]
