Review: Snag a job had companies post on their website that were fraudulent. They would take your application and email and text you saying this was what you had. They had all your information where you lived, age, gender, where you worked before, address, number. They set you up and by letting them post in which snag a job moderates they let people who fraud people out take your privacy. This happened when I was a minor. They broke their privacy agreement.Desired Settlement: Because of the fact that a minor player role in this situation the case in serious. They leaked out information that was private. Now I don't know whether or not these people may hurt my family. I do not feel any compensation will be enough for what they did. I would like an explanation of what happened. I feel they have really made me feel unsafe because of what they did.

The business reached out to Revdex.com my email to indicate they have reached out directly to the customer with the attached message.Message History-----Original Message-----From: [redacted]Sent: 09/15/2015Subject: Response in reference to case #[redacted]Dear [redacted]We are so sorry you encountered an employer that appears not to be a legitimate business. We carefully screen and check all the employers who post jobs on our site, but occasionally one gets through. We have taken down all postings for [redacted] and we are investigating. The good news is that the information shared in your job application is basic information that’s generally not valuable to scammers. Scammers are typically looking for your social security number, bank account numbers or other private info. Without that information, there’s not much they can do. If you receive any emails or phone calls from [redacted] please let me know and do not give them any other information. If you have further concerns, please view our security center: [redacted]

Review: I don't know how, but Snagajob got my email address, [redacted], and has been emailing me every day. I used their unsubscribe link numerous times to no avail. I have marked them as spam. I have continuously tried to unsubscribe from their emails but nothing happens.Desired Settlement: Stop emailing me.

I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved. If the company does not perform as promised I can get back to you at: [redacted]Regards,

In an email from[redacted]: Yes, I have heard from the business. They have said that I have been removed, but we will see.

Worst mistake ever was signing up for snagajob.com.
I have had to change my number after trying for weeks to block all the solicitors who were calling 10 times a day, and after blocking would call back with a blocked number. Then the final straw was getting credit cards I never asked for with my name on them in my today. This all started only 1 hour after I signed up on their website. They sell all your information you give them. I've never had a solicitation call to my cell until I signed up for snagajob.com. good luck deleting your info and account after you create it.

This felt like a bait and switch scheme. I received an e-mail from this company for a position listing within a very prominent and desirable company in my area, which is very sought after. Below is what I got when I attempted to apply for the position. Also to note when I clicked on "See All Cxxxxx Jobs" there was only a single company listed which was NOT the company I wanted.

Review: Snagajob dropped my Job Post. Twice. No explanation, just suddenly dropped. I called the customer support asking why the Job Post was dropped and if they could put it back up. All I could get was "I don't see your job post." I know that. That is actually what I am trying to fix. "Yes, but I do not see your Job Post." I understand that. Can you fix that? "I'm sorry, Ma'am. I do not see a Job Post." I did this again. With another user name and even a different credit card in the hopes that maybe it was a glitch because I had an old job seeker account and purchase the Employer package from within that. STILL dropped me. Again, no explanation. At least I got a notice SAYING they were dropping my Job Post. It stated that if I thought it was a mistake, I should e-mail them back information about several things. I did. The e-mail I got back was a repeat of the same questions for the same info.Desired Settlement: As much of a hassle as it has been, I still need the positions filled. I want the Job Post back up. Permanently. Until I take it down. Or at least some explanation as to why that can't be done.

Business

Response:

Revdex.com spoke with the business. At this time the business has been in contact with the customer by email to discuss the additional information needed in order to complete a review of the job posting and update it to the site. The customer has been contacted for contact information of the business location for this job posting but at this time the customer has not provided that information. Once that information is provided the post and be reviewed and the process continued.

Review: I wanted to unsubscribe from emails that I had at one point wanted to receive. As I was trying to unsubscribe it asked for my reason for wanting to unsubscribe. As I clicked on "I'm no longer looking for this kind of work." It then redirected me to select the frequency of emails. I then tried this reason again and it continually kept redirecting me back to the same subscription frequency. I then choose another option "Jobs shown here are not what I'm looking for." and it did the same thing. I then chose "I'm getting too many emails." and it yet again did the same loop. It wasn't until I lied and said I found a new job that it finally let me unsubscribe and at this point it was trying to solicit me into sharing my story.Desired Settlement: I would like this unreasonable loop to be fixed, If a person, including myself would like to unsubscribe from emails, they should be able to without the hassle of constantly being redirected back to the same subscription frequency page.

Hi [redacted],

Review: We purchased 4 job postings at a rate of $89/each ($356) to run for 30 days. However, SnagaJob automatically reposted the jobs for additional months and charged our credit card (held on file without our permission) resulting in an additional $664 in unauthorized charges to our credit card.Desired Settlement: Refund us $664 in overcharges to our[redacted]. We are concurrently disputing the charges with[redacted].

Removal & destruction of ALL our credit card information.

Consumer

Response:

The vendor has contacted me by phone and email and appears to be in the process of refunding. We are still waiting to confirm receipt of the funds to our credit card before I can consider this closed/resolved.

Review: Spoke to [redacted] from sales department who refused her manager when asked. Specifically requested direct supervisor after disrespectful behavior, and was argued with over 20 minutes. "Supervisor called back and stated "Since calls with our sales staff are not monitored, it becomes a he said she said issue" Customer service, and IT department are monitored calls but sales staff is not. Basically sales can promise the world and not have to back it up or claim any kind of responsibility to what they say.Desired Settlement: Credit to Account of what was paid on 9/23/2014, in the amount of 249.00

Business

Response:

Why should I sign up for your service when you cannot show me the jobs I want. If there are none then say so but DO NOT RETURN JUNK!! I and others I know take this as an insult:

Review: I have been receiving almost 10 e-mails a day from job agencies that are not titled temporary agencies with an address, phone number, etc. It all started when I applied for [redacted] at [redacted] and even they didn't even know why my application wouldn't submit online. I visited the location where I wanted to work and was told to go to a different website, because they are a franchise. The website required me to sign up to receive a call from three different educational institutions. Then I was never led to an application process.

Snagajob.com, I suppose one could say, is when I decided that I had enough of the opening and deleting of emails. The sure indicator to me that this agency, I believe, is fraudulent was by noticing the [redacted] emblem in the upper left-hand corner of the screen. I also was never directed to the [redacted] website like other online job websites. There was a question of my age, and it asked for my resume up front.

I applied for several jobs through other online job agencies and am realizing that as I continued this process, I started to receive more e-mails from job agencies online--too many to list. I haven't received a contact from any of them. I have been searching for work a long time now, with almost a masters degree, and lots of other education without any results of full-time employment. At this point, I have concluded that my personal information is being passed around for free and am left wondering why no job. How are these people financing these websites? My unemployment benefits will be up in a month.

I taught elementary school for eight years and hold high expectations of myself and others to follow rules, guidelines, the law, etc.--with an understanding at least to recognize a situation that doesn't seem honest. Something isn't right. I can't even get a job at [redacted] with almost a masters degree. In addition to that fact, I don't even understand why. I hope for a resolution to this. Thank you.Desired Settlement: Explanation as to the purpose and function of online job agencies. Do they get paid? Why is it legal for my resume and personal employment information spread to online agencies without ever a contact from a business??

Business

Response:

Our mission is to help people find the right-fit employment opportunities so they can maximize their potential and live more fulfilling lives. We take that mission very seriously and have been successful in accomplishing this for over 16 years. We have reached out to this user and have apologized that they did not have a positive experience with our company. We have also unsubscribed them from any future Snagajob correspondences. It is our purpose to provide fast and easy access to hourly employment opportunities through our free online service for job seekers. We value our members' privacy and never share information without their permission. Review: I was looking for jobs online and made a account with "SnagAJob.com" giving them my personal information. I then later found out about all the complaints and problems people have been having. I DO NOT trust this company with any of my personal information.Desired Settlement: The reason im sending a complaint is because snagajob asked for my SSN#, license plate, drivers license, phone number and email adress. With all the info I collected about "SnagAJob", I no longer can trust them with all my sensitive information. I request the owner or General Manager of "SnagAJob" to personally assure me that all my sensitive personal information is removed "PERMANATLY" from their database where they will never be able to retrieve any of my information.

Business

Response:

Review: I recently received email notification that my email address was used to start a profile. I have tried contacting the company numerous times and sent an email stating that I want my email address removed because this is FRAUDULENT! I was able to get a live person on the phone one time out of numerous phone calls and that person forwarded me to a vm. I am very irritated that my email address was used to open this account and that I cannot get it deleted. I am very dissatisfied!!!!Desired Settlement: I want someone to contact me and I want to be sure that this profile is deleted. I have contacted the person responsible for opening this account, but of course she won't answer the phone.

Business

Response:
