Worst customer service ever
I ordered parts for my snow blower on Feb 7 2021. It is now March 25 and have only received one item from the order. I have called numerous time and of course was told that the parts are on there way. Nope, tracking number shows that my items have not been shipped yet. Next call will be for a refund and I guess I will just have to buy another snow blower and it will not be from snow joe.

Do Not Buy Products from Snow Joe
After my husband passed in 2019, I wanted a Snow Joe to help for easier snow removal. I purchased the Hybrid model. The first one worked for about 20 minutes. The company sent another one to me. The first time I used it, it started 'smoking' with the smell of burning plastic. I asked for a different model --- just a cordless one this time.
I used the ION18 for a few times last winter, and the 2nd time I used it this winter, it just quit on me. After two (2) replacements which didn't work, the company sent me the 24V-X2-SB18U. I want to be excited, but all the reviews say its no better than Ion18. The real kicker was when I took the return to the UPS store, the lady working said they see a lot of Snowjoe's come through for returns. That tells me I am out of money for the original purchase. I can't keep returning this item 2 or 3 times a year. I am 5'5" and I only have a car. Its not easy getting those snow blower boxes in my car and into the UPS Store. Long Story - Short --- I am now on my Seventh SnowJoe. I tell anyone who will listen the products this company sells are worthless.

Snow-Joe 13 inch 40 volt ION Battery Hybrid with power cord, brand new.
Sno Joe 13 inch 40 volt, brand new, worked for 5 min and shut down. will not restart. tried calling customer service , left my number and never called back. This is Brand New bought on Amazon. Feel ripped off. especially with no response from Sno-Joe.

False promises blatant LIES
I had a replacement sent in Dec 2020, that one also broke. Called for replacement on feb 8th shipping to be expedited and told I would receive tracking info later or the next day. Did not so I again called them. They upgraded my unit after expressing my concern of exact same part broken on two machines. This year snow has been lots in Connecticut so I need this snowblower. Each day I check for UPS tracking info, yesterday the 10th I was told by a supervisor that my unit had been shipped! I expressed the email shows unknown tracking number, he assured me that later it will update in UPS system.
I check this morning for update, big surprise it shows it has not made it to the shipper! And that at 4:45 am today a label was “printed” I understand things take time to process and ship but I’m disappointed and angry that I was lied to and spent hours of my time on hold waiting to speak to numerous customer service people then a supervisor. I don’t feel my requests were important to them in the least!
Not when I was told it “should” be shipped on the 8th or the 9th then tomorrow etc etc. I was also told by supervisor Clober that I should have it “tomorrow” (today) or Friday! Well it’s not with UPS so I don’t see that happening! My last review on snow Joe was praising them up n down, well clearly that was just a fluke because in a month boy have things changed.
I will post everywhere I can!

Non Working Snow Thrower
Purchased as a Xmas gift in December 2020. First snow storm hit oh Feb 1, 2021. Snow thrower worked ONE DAY. It will not throw anything but light snow of 5 inches or less. As you may be aware, the East Coast was hit with a heavy snowstorm, 1/31 - 2-2, 2021. THE PRODUCT IS USELESS UNDER THESE CONDITIONS - IT SHUTS OFF EVERY 10 SECONDS. I CALLED SNOW JOE'S CUSTOMER SERVICE twice, SENT THEM A EMAIL, AND LEFT A NUMBER FOR A CALLBACK...nothing...nada...no RESPONSE FROM SNOW JOE. PLEASE HELP! THANKS. JOHN NOEL, SR 410-620-3445

Bought the snow joe used it barely once plug in battery the next snow came and it was dead! Junk buyer beware!

Mising parts in the open box
I'd received open box from Snowjoe with missing hardware the package no sj624e-rm and item no 20440031694. I expect to receive a separate package with hardware.

Motor cord
yrs and have not seen this problem with any of the cable assembly's we have made.From yesterdays conversation, why is the electric wire, from the on/off switch to the motor all sticky and soft and mushy ? This has to be an electrical safety hazzard. I have worked in the wire and cable business.

On board electric cord
The response to my electrical question was not referring to the problem. The wire that goes from the on/off switch to the motor is the squishy one that I am worried about! This is a SJ620 SnoJoe electric snowblower with very little use.

Electrical hazard
I bought my Snow-Joe a few years ago. We have used it for about 2-3 hours in the first two years. I had knee surgery and have not used it since then Yesterday I went to move it, been stored in my cellar, and noticed the power cord from the switch to the motor is all soft and mushy. The main cord looks fine . It still runs but I am upset about that electric cord!

Worst experience EVER
I purchased a snow blower through amazon back in November of 2019 from snow joe. the unit I received was inoperable as the battery portion did not work, I contacted the company and was asked to return the product for a replacement. returned product and received a lesser model which was only electric not both electric and battery. contacted snow joe again was told just use this one until we can replace yours maybe sometime in march. did not use lesser model, contacted snow joe again in march was told did not have the model I originally purchased asked for my money back. was told send the replacement back and I did. waited never heard from company. contacted snow joe was told I had to wait 6-8 weeks for refund. waited 8 weeks called snow joe again was told no idea what your talking about but will correct and mail out refund Friday june 19, 2010. waited two weeks called again sorry must have been mix up was the answer will definitely get refund out to you this Friday july 3, 2010. today is july 10th called snow joe to confirm back to we have no idea what your talking about no check/refund has been processed yet. STAY WAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I am currently seeking legal council

Beware of Snow Joe
I can confirm that I purchased a snow blower from Snow Joe on May 28, 2019, along with a
3-year extended warranty. I can also truthfully verify that I have never gone out of my way to report a problem with a company as widely as I can so that others can save themselves from a terrible experience.

We received a 4-inch snow on January 7, 2020, that was wet and heavy. Each trip that I took up and down my driveway of about 20 feet resulted in the snow packing up and totally clogging the shoot of the snow blower. With the snow packed underneath, the blower became heavy and difficult to push. Each time I turned and came back, it was totally clogged, so I had to shut it off and clean the snow away. I repeated this over and over. This blower proved to be incapable of doing the job.

I reported the problem to Snow Joe on January 15, 2020. I called twice and spoke with a person and her boss, and I wrote four emails. This is what the Owner’s Manual says: "Unfortunately, there are times when a product does not work...We think it’s important that you know what you can expect from us. That’s why we created the Snow Joe® + Sun Joe® promise….Snow Joe® + Sun Joe® warrant new products for two years from the date of purchase….If, in Snow Joe® + Sun Joe®’s sole discretion, the failed Machine cannot be repaired with a part, Snow Joe® will... refund the full purchase price to the owner.

I received this email from Snow Joe that same day: “We do apologize about any inconveniences, we thank you for providing us with your invoice. At this time we will honor your refund for your SJ623E. We will provide your information to our accounting department, they will then reach out to you via email, providing you with a shipping label to send the unit back to us. Once we receive the unit, we will go ahead and mail out a refund check for you. The whole process can take anywhere from 8-10 weeks. The next step is just waiting to receive your return label, which can take about 24-72 hours.” (It took another phone call by me a week later).

I packed up the snow blower at a UPS store on February 4. It cost me $29.04. As of June 17, 2020, I have not heard from Snow Joe again. I have called and written over a dozen times, and I received automated case numbers, but never a phone call back or certainly no money returned. This is what their emails say: “We are aiming to respond to you within 5 business days or sooner. Please share your order number for faster service. (I always do). Sending multiple emails regarding one inquiry will not result in a quicker reply.” (This apparently occurs often).

To summarize, the snow blower from Snow Joe could not clear snow. The “promise” made by the company proved to be a lie. The 3-year extended warranty was another sham. I have spent $210 over a year’s time. I do not have a snow blower or the money that I spent on one. I am not a competitor of Snow Joe. I am just a very unhappy customer who got robbed by this horrible company.

Slow/Non-Responsive Customer Service
I bought a water pressure washer and within several use the pressure hose came loose from the nozzle. I contacted customer service and was told that a replacement hose was ordered for me with order number. I waited 2 weeks later and emailed and then called customer service again. They said it should be sent out soon. I waited another week and emailed customer service several times. No response at all. It's been over month and I still have not received a simple replacement hose. I'm very disappointed and frustrated as I can't use the washer for my project. I won't ever buy their product again.

Flying Mower Blade
While mowing my lawn, the blade flew off. There is no one to answer the phone, chat cuts you off after an hour of holding time four times in a row. Someone finally answered an email, no concern whatsoever that the blade flew off and nearly sliced my leg open, said that a replacement clip would be sent. The label was created but it’s been days now and it hasn’t even shipped. This is one red flag after another. The service agent will not respond to a request to fed ex the part- I guess that as much as she will do.I thought the concept of this product was great but the company’ s integrity is in question.

Sun Joe Leaks
I purchased my SunJoe SPX4000 about a year ago and used it once...worked great then. Just got it back out to pressure wash a brick wall and its spraying water out where the hose fits into the spray gun. You can not use it without getting completely soaked. Very disappointing and very expensive to have only been able to use it one time.
