A customer relations manager spoke to the customer in regards to the status of their project on and We are currently in process of preparing to submit documentation to the utility to obtain permission to operate the customer's systemFor further questions please call [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I received a telephone call left on voice mail from customer service rep stating he was going to look into the matter, further advising that maybe they had the wrong address and wanting to verify the correct address, although he clearly stated my correct address at the start of the callI sent an email verifying my address, have not heard back from themI request Solar City contact me via email [redacted] instead of voice mail, we have no record of these conversations, and Solar City has a log of all calls and contacts with the customerStill just looking for payment that is owed to me and that will end this complaint Thank you, ***Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Worst experience ever! They damage my roof during the panel installationOne year after rain/water damage to the ceiling and room interior the issue is Not fixed.They failed to repair the leak 1st time, so month after its rained they had to come backOnce again, one year after, the issue is Not fixed.Took them ages to install the system,they never on time,and at least times didn't show up and didn't cancel appointmentAfter countless attempts to resolve this issue with their unbelievably slow and unprofessional customer service (one year of calls,emails, pictures, inspections,estimates) they left me with no choice but to start a legal action against Solar City in order to fix the damage to my house they have done Stay away from Solar City!!!

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I am happy that they are willing to not charge me for the removal, storage, and reinstallation of the panels but I still feel that they should be somewhat responsible for the actual roofing replacement as wellEveryone I speak to and how I feel as well is that Solar City was in such a rush to get as many solar panels installed on roofs in [redacted] so they could get qualify for the Government grants to do so that they overlooked conditions of a lot of roofs and gave the green light to certain roofs that should have not Sincerely, [redacted] ***

SolarCity has reached out to the customer with the most recent being 06/01/ [redacted] where there was a voicemail left and an email sent, 05/24/ [redacted] there was another voicemail along with an email sent to the customer, and on 05/20/ [redacted] where we were unable to leave the customer a voice mail and sent an emailThe customer has not responded to any of the messages left or responded to any emailsAs of today's date the customer has been non-responsive in order to address their questions and concerns

This company and their representative, [redacted] , took complete advantage of my dadMy dad a senior citizen, who has my mom in a senior care living facility with Alzheimer's [redacted] told my dad, that this would be a great deal for him and that his payments would stay the sameThat was a big lie! My dad explained and showed his bills and how much his payments were, which were less than $a monthNow that my dad has these [redacted] panels, his payments are between $100-a monthHow is that a deal! I called Solar City and spoke with ***SolarCity and [redacted] said there is nothing they can do, after all that was exp!ained about how [redacted] deceived my dad and that he has my mother in Senior care facilityThis company and their Representatives have no remorse, no care and oh well, it sucks to be you attitudeThis company is just plain greedy and does not care who it takes advantage of
