Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I have forwarded the correspondence emails between sales person and I to Robyn where clearly shows Sales person proposal and misleading promises how much my electric usage neededAnd yes while I signed the contract as I did mentioned in my complains as well Was based on lies and mislead information on behalf the sales agentI have googled Solar City complains and I am not the only person that sales people lie tooIt have been several numerous cases reprinted where sales agents lie to the customer and tell the customers that they only need so much panels which does not meet the productions vs consuming required We take the word from the sales staff as honest Question why would someone sign a contract for kWh when my consumption is kWh more than then contract I submitted some of numerous emails coming from sales agents stating clearly I would be able to use my electricity 24/Solar city should not excuse their sales agent when miss leading customers Sincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Solar City is still stating the roof was fine and solar panels did not cause any problems or start the deterioration of the current roofTheyAgain told me they are NOT paying for removal, storage of, replacement of roof or the reinstallation of panelsI refuse to take this as their answerIf I need to get an attorney involved I willBottom line is they should have NEVER HAVE installed the system until a new roof was installedIf they would have told me that from the get go I would have told them that they would have to not include me in the solar systemI am still looking for compensation to have new roof installed and would also like to get OUT of my contract with this horrible company.Sincerely, [redacted] ***

In November my wife and I had Solar City install panels on our roofWe were told by our sales man [redacted] that we could expect to be using the panels in the next 90-daysAs of today June 24th, we are still not turned onThis is because Solar City designed a system that is too big for our house and [redacted] will not agree to turn it on We have contacted Solar City on several occasions and have voiced our frustration and concerns on not having our solar up and runningWe have been pushed to the sides for monthsBecause the system is too large we are being told we have to itemize everything we have that plugs in so they can approve the system sizeThis is crazy since people from solar city have been out to take photos of our stuff We are absolutely fed up with the inconsistancies that we are hearingMonday June 22nd, 2015, our original salesman contacted me to discuss what we can do to get the large system approvedHe told us to go on [redacted] and purchase

Thank you for forwarding our customers concernsWe have reached out to this customer on multiple occasions since she first presented her concerns to SolarCity in [redacted] ***We have explained that the UCC -fixture filing is not a lien and could be removed temporarily during her refinancesThe UCC-is protection for our equipment only and again the customer can have it removed for refinancing, in fact, we have a specialized team that does this, which we have explained to the customerStill, we have been refused by the customer to allow SolarCity to perform inspection corrections as required by the utility so we can move forward to activate her solar system Multiple members of our Customer Care and Management team have spoken with the customer about these concerns with unfortunately the same refusal on the part of the customerThe customer signed the agreement, acknowledging that they read as well as understood the terms and conditions of the agreementSolarCity is willing to get the system activated, however, the corrections must be made so the utility will give it's approval to activate the system We have tried to work with the customer, we even had a date scheduled for the corrections but the customer turned our crew awayAt this time, the customer is in default of the agreement and we have presented the customer with a settlement to remove the systemThis would be at a cost to the customer as SolarCity has been compliant with the agreement in trying to move the project aheadWe have notified the customer of the default by email and mail, this is not a step that SolarCity would like to take but the customer is refusing to move forward
