Solomon And Solomon PC Reviews (97)

The account at issue was referred to my office on 4/13/17. The consumer received the initial letter and complained to the CFPB. I responded to that complaint and provided the account statements that support the claim. In the interim, Merrick Bank has recalled this account from my
office on 6/26/We are no longer collecting on this accountThis firm did not report to any credit bureaus.

I am rejecting Solomon and Solomon's claim because they are liarsAs you can see from the attachments in my last correspondence, they sent me a letter on November 9th, telling me they were waiting for the landlord of the said property to confirm that I lived there and they would contact me when there were able to do soAlso, you can see that as of 12/14/2016, per their associate Linda, after I had called, after NOT hearing anything from them, they were unable to do so, but instead of following the legal law of removing it because they were unable to confirm that the account was mine per landlord records, and verify that I did indeed live there, which is also required by law, they have decided to break BOTH federal laws in regards to report accurate and truthful recordsThe landlord as of 12/16/2016, which is well over the days required by law cannot verify that I lived thereHad no record of me having lived there and if they did, they would have responded in kindAlso, if you look at the letter, it states that they made a mistake in accuracy, and this is THEIR own words to meTheir own letter to me dated as of 11/9/shows they are liars. They are also liars because they are claiming that they did not know the mailing address had changedAs you can see from the envelope that I took a picture of they were indeed notifiedI also call them liars because when I spoke to Linda on 12/14/at 2:00pm, and she verified my information, she did NOT mention that they had sent a letter to meAs a matter of fact, she stated because I wrote it down including the time of the call, how long it lasted, word for word that they could not at that time 12/14/verify that I lived there and I just had to wait and wait and waitAgain, it is 12/14/and the time limit by both federal statutes is daysBy 12/14/they were well past the statue of limitations to verify this account is mineSolomon and Solomon are liarsI asked them to prove that the account is mineTheir own process to do so includes verifying landlord records which they are unable to do and were unable to do so in the days by the federal statuteThey have a copy of my legal lease, drivers license and everything else they needed to prove that the account was not mine, and I did not live thereThey weren't satisfied with that so they decided to reach out to the landlord who HAD NO RECORD of me living there as of 12/14/2016, which once again is WELL PAST THE STATUE OF days per BOTH the Fair Credit Reporting Act and the Federal Debt Collection Practices ActAt this point, they have no legal right to report this on my credit report OR try to collect it from me because they were unable to verify that I resided there within the day time limitContinued failure to remove this from my credit report is a violation of the law and I want it removed

RGE referred this matter to the firm in November 2014. We sent the initial contact letter on November 25th. The consumer did not dispute the debt. Thereafter, in March 2015, the firm sent another letter, also attached. We never received any communication from the consumer
until September when she disputed the account to the credit bureaus. In response to the dispute we sent the consumer a copy of the final bill. There has been no further contact in this matter until May when she sent another dispute letter to the office. We have updated the credit bureaus to show the disputed status of the account. The account remains open in this office and presumed valid

We are reporting the matter as disputed to the bureausWe have requested the actual bills from SCG and the copy of the last payment received. We cannot delete this off of her credit report at this time. SCG will review the bills, the December payment copy and other pertinent information. Perhaps the consumer could contact this office directly to expedite?

Unfortunately I cannot locate a *** *** in our system This could be due to a mis spelling He could be writing on behalf of a spouse etc I also checked the Court system for the Eastern District of New York where our student loan cases were mostly filed many years ago
I show no *** *** on the docket list Hopefully we can locate him using a social security number search or he can advise whether he is writing about his file or another person If it is a federal student loan then due to security clearance most of our staff cannot address it I have security clearance. Mr*** should contact me at our office to address the matter . Douglas * F*Solomon and Solomon, P.CColumbia CirAlbany NY 12203*** *** *** ***

The account was referred by our client Connecticut Natural Gas for utility service at ** *** ***. I have requested relevant documentation from our client to provide as verification. In the interim, the dispute has been noted and will transmit to all credit bureaus. I
attempted to contact the consumer to verify whether the name matches the ss# that we have but the phone number was disconnected. I then sent an email request to her for that information

We do show a collection for *** ** recently paid in May The firm did not discuss or address removal from credit with the consumer. The credit reports were updated 6/1/as paid in full However due to the change of the consumer's address from NY to GA I have coded it for removal
We report the beginning of each month with the next report likely 10/3/due to the weekend Douglas FSolomon and Solomon, P.C. This is a communication from a debt collector

According to our system notes on 1/16/18, Mr*** was advised by our representative that we would accept 80% of the balance as a settlement if he didn't need service from *** **, that she would have his request for deletion reviewed but that we report the accurate status of the accountOn
1/18/Mr*** called again requesting a settlement paid letter to show his bank. He was advised that we wait to issue such letters until the payment clearsOn 2/1/the letter was issued and the credit bureau was updated to show the correct status as settled.

I show the paid in full account code transmitted 11/1/ I have not seen the consumer's account bureau report to determine it actually is showing a defaulted account We transmitted a paid in full code It should be updated with that status Many consumers assert that paid in full status is a defaulted account but it is an accurate status to show a past due account now paid in full If the consumer is asserting the account is showing open and unpaid in default that is an error by the bureau we could contact and address I show the paid in full report was generated*** *** *** SYSOP CBRU Credit Bureau Report Update K. K is our internal update confirming a paid in full statusDouglas F.Solomon and Solomon, P.C

Unfortunately I show no letter or calls from the consumer to resolve the account or ask for a call back Our firm is open throughout the week and she can call from am to discuss the matter with a representative If she wants to reach our main switchboard and be transferred it is ***

The firm had a collection account for *** ** for approximately $due from for service in Brooklyn NY In August A third party named *** *** called to discuss the account and we refused without permission from the consumerThe consumer then called, provided
identification information and a payment was made by credit card The payment was made without any discussion whatsoever about credit The call was simply because the consumer was afraid he was going to lose power The account was paid in full and coded paid 7/16/ The firm reports the accurate status of an account and a paid in full code was transmitted 8/1/The firm removes trade lines from credit due to fraud, id theft etc Not for a consumer simply paying an account. The firm reports and continues to report that accurate statusThe staff is trained not to discuss any aspect of credit reporting and such calls would refer to an attorney at the firm Douglas M F*Solomon and Solomon, P.C. this is a communication from a debt collector
